Victor and his wonderful team at Unlimited Home Services just finished transforming our primary bathroom and bedroom into a bright and beautiful suite. From demolition to final touches, the entire process went exceptionally smoothly, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the result. It truly feels like we’re living in a custom-built home without having to move!

The quality of the workmanship stands out at every level. The electrical and plumbing work was completed with precision and care, the tiling and grouting are beautiful, the built-in shelves and cabinets showcase excellent craftsmanship, and the paint job is flawless.

Over the years, we’ve completed 3 major renovations with Victor and his team (kitchen/family room, basement, and now our primary suite), along with several smaller interior and exterior projects. We continue to work with Victor because there is something truly special about him and his company. He leads with integrity, maintains high standards, and clearly respects and cares for his crew.

Victor quoted me for three different jobs. I was going to take him up on all of it until I changed my mind on one job, and the other I found out he was overcharging me by about $600. I wanted to use him for the bathroom renovation and had started ordering materials and planning everything. When I told him where I landed on the work that I needed him to do, he just cancelled everything and walked away. Completely unprofessional and untrustworthy. If you want a grown man that acts like a baby, he's your guy. 8 years ago I used him for a total renovation, which is why I came back to him. I'm just reminded now that he likes to overcharge on some things and make it look like other projects are dirt cheap. So this is probably why he walked away. Never again.

We’ve worked with Unlimited Home Services across our extended family for over a decade, and they’re hands-down the best. When it came time to renovate our basement into a mother-in-law suite, we didn’t hesitate to call Victor and his team—especially after they’d done amazing work on my sister’s Petworth rowhome and my brother’s Chevy Chase basement.

This was a tough project. Our basement had water issues, bugs, and poor light. Another architect even turned it down. But Victor took it on without hesitation—and delivered beyond our expectations. They turned it into one of the most beautiful and functional parts of the house: a bright, cozy living space with extended casement windows and a beautiful view of the backyard, a full kitchen with marble counters and state-of-the-art appliances, a walk-in cedar closet, all-new plumbing, a dedicated HVAC zone, and a gorgeous bathroom with heated floors, a huge vanity, and a walk-in, accessible shower.

Victor and his team went above and beyond to incorporate features we hadn’t even thought to ask for—especially around accessibility. They made countless small design choices that will make it easier and safer for my mom to live here as she ages, and that kind of foresight meant a lot to us.

The team was thoughtful, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They showed up on time (even on Saturdays!) and treated our home with care. Communication was clear, pricing was fair, and the quality of the work is top-notch. We genuinely enjoyed having them in our home.

Unlimited Home Services has done a number of jobs around our house and improved the value of our house immensely. Most significantly, they finished our basement converting it into two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a dining room and installing an egress window. They also replaced the stairs- converting it from a quarter round stairwell to one with a safety landing. In both major projects they did outstanding work..

Most importantly, however, has been their wisdom and advice to these jobs. Victor is very knowledgeable about building and redecorating. I highly recommend them to you.

Reliable, Honest, and Efficient contractor. The team showed up every day on time and their skills were excellent. This was the first time we have ever used a contractor for a bathroom renovation and they did such a good job (and fast) we had them do our basement and replace our windows. They are truly "unlimited" in their home services and respect for their craft! The tile work we had done was intricate and Eddie did a beautiful job. Daniel's work ethic was insane. Once the project started he put his head down and made everything happen so fast. The whole crew became like family in the short time they were here. Patricia came everyday to make sure the guys had everything they needed which meant no interruptions to go to the store. Victor checked in everyday to make sure the team was doing the work exactly to my specifications. I mean exactly. I told them how I wanted it and they made it happen. Couldn't recommend Unlimited Home Services enough. You won't be disappointed. The only downside is that our renovated rooms look so beautiful we are acutely aware of other projects that need to be done.

These guys did a terrific job, as we expected based on the past work they have done for us. We have a wood frame Sears house, close to a century old, whose outside had not been repainted for about two decades. We wanted someone to do a careful, thorough, professional job and therefore hired Victor Mendieta and his company.
They didn't disappoint: they power-washed the surface; sanded each and every wooden panel and removed the old caulking between them; replaced any panel that was cracked, warped or rotting; re-caulked between every panel; and then primed and brush-painted everything. Inspection showed that our entire front porch needed to be replaced, not merely its surface; lattice and framing around an open area under the house required repair; and several boards on our back porch also needed attention. Everything was fixed with careful attention to detail and an obvious desire to give us as close to a perfect job as possible.
They also were responsive - when we advised Victor that an apparently flat porch step had a puddle after a rainfall, it was replaced the next morning. This company also is able to craft new pieces when necessary: when they found that a set of shutters was warped and cracked, they fabricated new ones at their shop and installed those along with new window boxes. Finally, when they saw the contrast between our newly-painted house and a grimy brick patio, they power-washed the patio, as well.
I expect that we could have found a company that would do a faster job at a cheaper price, but we wanted to ensure the quality of this major project. We couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Victor and his team did a wonderful job on our mantel extension and TV installation. Victor was very responsive and got to work quickly. The service was done well, on budget, and we are looking forward to working on other home projects with Victor. I highly recommend him and the Unlimited Home Services team.

We worked with Victor on a basement remodel in Chevy Chase and couldn’t be happier with the experience. He went above and beyond at every stage—helping thoughtfully design the space, coordinating seamlessly with vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring every detail was done right. My wife was pregnant at the time, and Victor committed to finishing the project before the baby arrived; and he completed with a month to spare. I was so happy to work with Victor, Patricia and the team. Their work is top notch. They put marble up in my kitchen and the tile work is meticulous. What impressed me most about Case was that they started when they said they'd start and they finished right on time. This, along with the progress that was evident daily, made the three weeks without a kitchen less unbearable. The final result was just as rendered or better. We enjoy it daily.
