I interviewed a few companies to build an addition to my home in Columbia, and chose Starcom Design/Build. They met all my HOA requirements and designed and built my new room faster than expected. I am extremely happy with the quality of construction and love the results. I would do it all over again.

I had some concerns about remodeling but Starcom really did an exceptional job. We consulted with a lot of different contractors in Howard County but they stood out from the crowd. They took our initial ideas and their expertise and created a new kitchen that I am so happy to cook in. There was great communication with the designer and the project manager. I recommend them to all my neighbors!

Starcom did a great job with our roof and drywall repairs! Roger was highly professional and very easy to work with. All of the contractors were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be in touch for future home improvement projects!

I was really impressed with how professional, friendly and helpful their entire staff was throughout my project. From the very start, I was shown detailed plans and they worked with my budget. There was great communication between myself and the designer & project manager.

We had a screened in Porch added to the back of our house. The process was good. Starcom took the time to see what we envisioned and made it their priority to tie that with what would be feasible. We originally wanted to have the screened in porch exit at the sliding door, but with the low ceiling it would not have worked. Instead they suggested we shift the door and create a new opening to the porch which would allow everything to tie in better.

Starcom did a great job on our office remodel, quoting, pre construction meetings, communication, effort level etc were all very good and very clear. End result of the project is exactly what we were looking for, they finished on time and on budget. Thanks Starcom!

Bob and team are excellent, they have a great facility where you can see and touch the products that would be used on your home renovation project.

We have used Starcom for three different projects (kitchens, baths) over the past several years. Designers have been great to work with, and the final product has met, or exceeded our expectations. Bob W and his team were always responsive when the inevitable wrinkles come up during construction phase, or some aspect of the design needed to be adjusted. We'd consider them again for a future project....

Overall, I was very pleased with my experience with Starcom. The end result was more beautiful than I could imagine, especially from blueprints and CAD drawings. The design team clearly used their expertise in bringing to life my vision for the completed project. Major kudos to Carly, Giselle, Franklin and his crew, and to Sergio for their attention to detail and professionalism. They were instrumental in helping me keep my sanity throughout the project and empathetic to my issues and concerns. Even though the project took longer than expected, I am positively pleased.

Starcom is a high quality, professional remodeling company that uses the highest quality materials, and provides excellent workmanship. I contracted Starcom to do a major basement remodel and the outcome was terrific. I highly recommend them for small to large jobs. The shot of my completed club room is attached.

The after sales support is exceptional. My deck railing was damaged by a fallen branch and I need to find out the brand of railing. I called the office and had the great fortune to speak with Andrea Dukes, who in no time found my file and sent me a very comprehensive email with all the information with several contacts who could provide the replacement railing. Starcom is quite fortunate to have as their office manager.

I had my kitchen remodeled by Starcom back in 2018 and it still brings me joy everyday. I still get compliments on it every time someone comes over. They remodeled everything about my kitchen, took it down to studs, changed the layout entirely, widened the cased opening and moved a door. The designer at the time made excellent suggestions for the layout based on my needs and the result was truly beyond my expectations!

While the main work was to my kitchen, Starcom also managed the install of new flooring throughout my house and other sundry requests from me. They were always professional in dealing with any changes and made sure I was satisfied with all the work. They also kept everything tidy each day and made it easy for me and my cat to live there during the whole process which was VERY important to me.

So now, nearly 7 years later, they were my first call in looking to remodel the bathrooms, front porch, and sunroom in my home. I’m very much looking forward to working with them again!

Very pleased with the work product - an addition. Overall, the project was on schedule with some weather related delays but the project managers (Giselle and Don) did an excellent job to ensure the materials were delivered on time, schedule the crew to show up and keep track of the progress. They were always available to answer questions, drop by to discuss things with us, and accommodated some changes. The build team was very professional and courteous. Special recognition goes to Mario and Pedro, who were instrumental in providing an awesome finished product.

Our house being small, we wanted some parts of the house remodeled and also wanted to do some critical additions. We contacted Bob, who I believe is the owner of the company. My wife and I found him very friendly, approachable and at the same time very professional. He spent over 50 hours free of cost in giving us additions/remodeling ideas, which were very impressive. Also, the price quotation he provided was extremely competitive. We definitely would have signed the contracts with him for all the remodeling and additions, but one thing that stopped us going forward was because a garage could not be added due to the limited allowed space as per the plat. Based on our experience with this company, I can confidently say that anyone working with this company will be very happy and satisfied. I strongly recommend this company for any home remodeling, additions or upgrade work.

Starcom added a sunroom to our house. Their architect integrated it perfectly to the existing structure. In fact, the whole project went flawlessly. Starcom could not have been more helpful walking us through the process, what to expect, time frames, etc. The quality of their work was second to none. After completion, we did not need any follow ups for anything. That is amazing and a testimonial to their attention to detail. We could not be happier and will only call Bob for future projects.
