After getting several quotes, we decided to work Dan and American Kitchen Concepts. We appreciated his level of knowledge and how the quote was based on the specific materials we ended up using and not a generic guess. The quote was pretty true to what we finally paid too, after we had to deal with some mold and other unforeseen issues. His crew was very nice and cleaned up after themselves every day. We really appreciated that because we have two small children. They worked pretty quickly and things were timed well between demo, installation, paint, and flooring so that there weren’t too many days where nothing was being done. Once the majority was done, Dan came back a couple of times to inspect everything, fix some minor things, and ensure that we were happy with everything. The end results were beautiful. We have been very happy with our new kitchen that is both more attractive and more functional. We would recommend Dan and American Kitchen Concepts to people looking for a kitchen upgrade.

Dan had great ideas for improving our kitchen. We have a small kitchen, but then it is extended with a breezeway that was enclosed a long time ago. It always seemed so chopped up, but Dan found a way to connect the two rooms better. He directed us in a way so that now we have a beautiful kitchen. Dan has many great ideas. He was always extremely responsive when we had questions. The crew was courteous and detail oriented. We love the materials and colors of our new kitchen, and it seems much bigger. We highly recommend American Kitchen Concepts for kitchen renovation.

I had a 40 year old kitchen updated. Two soffits were removed for taller cabinets and I had new counters, backsplash, sink and LED ceiling lights installed. Dan and Cameron from American Kitchen Concepts did an excellent job. Dan listened to my concerns and offered great solutions. Cameron did an excellent job of executing Dan’s design. I love my new kitchen and it was a very positive experience.

Overall we had a great experience with American Kitchen Concepts. We purchased an eighteen year old home that needed a little updating, particularly in the kitchen. We also wanted to continue the existing oak wood floors from the other rooms into the kitchen and family room (open kitchen concept). We decided the extensive flooring project should be done before moving in, so as soon as our offer was accepted and the home inspection was scheduled I contacted several companies that specialized in kitchen renovations to come out and give us a quote during the home inspection. Many of the contractors weren’t willing to come out without us actually owning the home yet, but Dan Millard with American Kitchen Concepts was willing to meet with us. Dan was prompt and very accommodating during the home inspection. He was also easy going about the few other competitors that came out to give us similar quotes at the same time. What I enjoyed most about Dan in comparison to the other contractors was that he seemed trustworthy and willing to work with our budget to help us get what we wanted but could also afford.

After we signed the contract with Dan he was great about assisting us with selecting our kitchen design. He wasn’t pushy or overbearing. He was helpful and gave suggestions when needed. The project did cost more than we originally expected, but this was mostly due to the refinishing of the existing wood floors in the entire main level of the house so that the new wood floors in the family room and kitchen would match. And as far as timeline, the project stayed mostly on schedule. We had a one week delay at the start, but the project was completed before our official move in date. I’ve heard that delays with renovation projects are common, and that one week was minor compared to other experiences.

I do think that our renovation was probably simpler than most. We didn’t reconfigure anything. Basically American Kitchen Concepts took out the outdated aspects of the kitchen and replaced them with a newer, updated look. Our renovation didn’t require moving any walls, or switching the plumbing around, or anything as complicated as that. We did have some changes to the electrical, but nothing too major.

When I look at our new kitchen design I am really happy with the final product. Dan took the ideas that I suggested and made it a reality for us. We are more than satisfied with our kitchen remodel, and would recommend American Kitchen Concepts to others.

Great experience. Beautiful result. - We hired American Kitchen concepts to fully gut and renovate our kitchen and family room. They installed recessed lighting and new wood flooring to both rooms, and then in the kitchen installed new cabinets, countertops, appliances, and a new window. We also had an uneven floor, the result of settling of our 30 year old home. The American Kitchen Concepts team was able to fix the floor to our satisfaction at a reasonable price and solid structural resolution. Dan listened to our needs and wants for design and was able to plan a functional space that was realistic for our home. We found American Kitchen Concepts to be very price competitive compared to the other contractors we interviewed. Dan was very communicative throughout the whole process and easy to get a hold of. He was able to quickly resolve any minor issues we had during the renovation. The teams that worked on our home were very kind and knowledgeable. The whole process took about a week longer than initially quoted, but nothing that was unreasonable considering the work that was completed. We are delighted with our new kitchen and family room and would recommend American Kitchen concepts to anyone in the market for a renovation!

We met with several contractors when deciding to do work on our house. We found Dan to be very straight forward, flexible, and grounded in his ability. He is also very customer focused. Our kitchen renovation was a dream come true. My husband and I put off this project for many years, partly due to finances, time and fear. The stars were finally aligned when we met Dan, owner of American Kitchen Concepts, Inc. He was highly recommended by a neighbor, and he lived up to the stellar recommendation. We met Dan in his office wherein we made design plans and chose from the varied, quality cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, and hardware on hand. Dan gave us wonderful ideas, that we never would have thought possible, had we designed the project on our own. Then came the hard part, the actual demolition and reconstruction. Dan’s right hand man for this project was the highly skilled Cameron, a brillant carpenter and electrician. The scope of this project included removing two soffits and elongating one; electrical upgrading; removal of old and installation of new appliances, countertops, cabinetry, sink, faucet, disposal, and lighting; backsplash install; drywall install, repair and painting. Cameron was meticulous, professional, kept the worksite clean with daily sweepup and vacuuming. Cameron’s attention to detail was highly appreciated. He treated our home as if it was his own. Dan and Cameron communicated effectively together and with us along this journey. In six weeks time, our kitchen was transformed from a 1980’s look to one that is better than cool and modern. We love waking up everyday to our new kitchen and spending time in this room. If you are thinking about a kitchen remodel, don’t hesitate to consider American Kitchen Concepts, Inc. Dan and his team were fantastic and we would trust them with any future, large scale project.

We hired American Kitchen Concepts in March 2021 to completely expand and upgrade our kitchen to include cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, plumbing, and new appliance installation. Based on discussions about existing flooring, lighting, and layout in adjacent rooms, powder room and laundry room, we added these areas to the project. In the end, AKC installed luxury vinyl flooring to the entire ground floor. The hallmark feature of this project was only having to work with one consultant and project manager, Dan Millard, owner of AKC. He gets an A++ for being exceptionally attentive to our wishes, always returning correspondence and calls promptly, personally handling every aspect of the project, and making us smarter on numerous elements of renovating kitchens. The product lines and features he suggested, and ultimately chosen, worked out very well. We would give the sub-contractors, who did the bulk of the work, a B+ in craftsmanship and attention to detail. They lost an A+ score because of occasional carelessness and sometimes failing to see flaws or damage in their carpentry or products installed. Overall, given the scope of this project and supply chain challenges of getting materials delivered on time, arriving without issues ...we are very pleased with how it all came together and how it enhances our entire ground floor. I would highly recommend AKC to anyone.

What work was done.
We had a complete renovation of out master bath. The old bath was completely gutted down to the bare wood. American Kitchen Concepts then designed the new master bath to our requirements working closely with us and ordered, acquired all materials, and installed the new bath.
How did it go.
The finished master bath went beyond our expectations. This is an extremely professional team whose work meets the highest standards; they are craftsmen in every sense. The installation team are highly skilled craftsmen whose quality and work results would be difficult to duplicate. The materials, shower, tiles, and counter tops were of the highest quality. They maintained schedule and budget and finished near on time, a real feat in this time of material and parts shortages.
We highly recommend them.

We decided to completely redo our kitchen. We hired AKC to demo the whole kitchen, which included knocking down the wall (non load bearing) separating the kitchen from the living room. They then reworked the wiring, which had some issues, installed brand new cabinets and countertop, and added a island/breakfast bar.

The majority of the project took about three weeks, which I felt was really quick for a kitchen remodel. After the bulk of the project was done, they had to return a few weeks later to install some items that took longer to ship or were replacement items, but it wasn't an issue since the kitchen was functional at that point. While it was a messy project, I felt that AKC tried to keep things as clean as they could, which was important for us since we have a small child who's very curious about anything laying around on the floor.

The project manager, Dan, was very responsive and would text me photo updates during the day while I was at work when requested. More importantly, Dan was very helpful in the planning stages. When we were first looking to redo our kitchen, we were overwhelmed with all of our choices for countertops, cabinets, colors, knobs, tiles, layout, etc. Dan was very knowledgeable and sat down with us to go over what would work best for us. He gave us suggestions and advice when we needed it. We changed our minds several times throughout the process, and Dan didn't have a problem with that. In the end, we love the kitchen we have now. We also had the floor completely replaced by another contractor, and Dan was very accommodating to make sure everything progressed smoothly.

We had a very positive experience working with American Kitchen Concepts on our kitchen renovation. I highly recommend AKC. Dan was great to work with. Dan has many partnerships with local material providers (appliances, tile, countertops, windows,siding, electrical, hvac and plumbing) giving us piece of mind during a time of material delays.Cameron and construction team provided excellent craftsmanship and communication during the process. The estimated schedule to complete our large project was within our expected timeline. We couldn't be happier with how beautiful our spaces turned out.

Gregory Custom Remodeling is a fraud, they hired my company to do masonry work and have owed me a balance for almost a year and have never paid me for the work done. Very disappointed and would advise other small contractors to beware.

I was hired by Joe Gregory to replace a steel column in a carport then alter a column inside his customers house. That was in October 2023 it's now April 2024 and I'm still waiting for payment. Joe has stopped responding to calls, text and emails. Avoid doing any work with this contractor.

This company is run by the former owner of our home. We've been here for almost 8 years and still get certified legal notices and individuals trying to serve him at our address. When he takes your money, please do not send legal correspondence to a 21784 zip.

This contractor is horrible. He held me hostage for almost 2 years by taking my money but not delivering what I paid for. He definitely is running a scam. He uses subs from other GCs because the local ones are wise to him. He doesn’t pay them properly if at all. It’s my understanding there are several projects in the area where he’s doing this. I don’t believe he ever intended to finish my home. Do not hire or do work for this contractor. You will regret it.

Amazing job by GBC!!! Burak and his crew were awesome and very professional! If I could give 10 stars, I would!!!!

We used GBC in Columbia MD to remodel a bathroom. The work included removing a large sunken jetted tub, changing the walk-in shower, new countertops, new cabinetry, lighting and fixtures, flooring, tile work, and painting. In short, the old bathroom was taken down to the studs. They also installed a walk-in closet.

Tushar provided a reasonable estimate of the cost and timeline, and helped us select fixtures and materials that kept us within our budget and were very attractive. He was an awesome designer that provided great insight into materials, as well as the bathroom layout and function.

The actual work started on time (November 2025) and was finished on time, give or take a few days due to a delayed delivery. Once work began, Burak handled most of the project oversight and he was extremely responsive to our questions, the few changes we requested along the way, and the review and completion of punch-out list items. Burak also checked in a week or two after the job was done and paid for just to make sure everything was still to our liking.

We received several estimates and met with other companies before deciding to use GBC. It has been about 3 months since our project was completed and we do not regret selecting GBC for our bathroom remodel.

We are very pleased with our kitchen remodel project. Sussan our designer, Burak the project manager, and the rest of their team were very easy to work with. They had great ideas which helped us achieve our vision for a beautiful kitchen and dining area. We are very pleased with the design, quality, and workmanship of GBC Kitchen and Bath.
