Marvin and his team were amazing! From his initial assessment of our equipment through the entire installation process he communicated with us, arrived when scheduled and was extremely professional. He was out to assess our system within 24hrs of our initial contact and once we made decision to go with them to replace our heat pump and air handler they had the job done within 48hours. Marvin was great at answering all of our questions and went above and beyond to accommodate a last minute request on the day of install. We will definitely be using Beyond Cooling for our future HVAC needs.

Marvin and his team installed my HVAC system a year ago. He is the most accommodating and helpful person I've worked with in a long time. He came back to help me troubleshoot afterwards and allowed me to reach out with any questions that I had post install. I highly recommend him for the quality of service AND the value of his product, which was in my budget!

BLUF: Marvin and his guys know exactly what they're doing. He provided me precisely what I needed (a water source heat pump) at a price point that was competitive with anyone. I called Beyond Cooling after first calling one of the big local firms who sent out a technician who told me little except I needed a new unit, then sent out a sales rep who tried to sell me a unit incompatible with a high rise condo. I decided to look for a local guy with a good reputation. Marvin came out, diagnosed my issue, got me up and running for the summer, and gave me a quote for a new system appropriate for my requirements. This fall, my system finally gave up. Beyond Cooling had my new system installed in about a week. Marvin asked me to call if I had any issues, but it has worked smoothly since installation. I can't recommend Beyond Cooling enough.

Consulted with multiple HVAC companies to replace and install a new AC system. Chose Beyond Cooling, LLC. Thanks to the expertise of Marvin Garcia I was introduced to a high efficiency AC/Heat Pump system that offered better value and performance with good pricing than other competitors. Marvin and his team did an excellent job with the removal and installation. My reasonably priced 18 SEER2, 2 ton Bosch system pkg qualified for both BGE Rebate and a tax credit when I file next year. Also included the smart Ecobee Pro thermostat. Marvin Garcia is very knowledgeable and pleasant and responsive to the numerous questions and concerns I had. After 2 months, I'm highly pleased and already seeing BGE savings. Feel confident knowing he'll be servicing my unit annually. Highly recommend Marvin Garcia and his team when you're in the market for a new HVAC system or ongoing maintenance service or repairs.

My heat pump died in the hottest days of July and I contacted Marvin at Beyond Cooling who was referred to me by another trades person after another company tried to gouge me. He found me an incredible high efficiency system at a great price, included the filter type and UV light that I wanted, and his team did an incredibly clean and professional installation. He also helped to process the BG&E rebate for the system and the warranty. I'm extremely grateful and pleased with Marvin's work and will continue to use him and the Beyond Cooling team to maintain my new heat pump. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Avoid at ALL costs!!! Tried calling to learn more about their pricing and availability and after deciding to shop around due to a high dispatch fee, they just hung up on me without saying a word!!! Yea I prefer to work with people that don’t just see me as a dollar sign. Definitely made the right decision NOT working with these guys.

Marvin came on Tuesday to diagnose my heat pump and confirmed it was not working. He said he would return Wednesday to fix it. That was pushed to Thursday, then pushed again to Friday. On Friday, after multiple delays, I was told he could not come back until the following week.

This left me with no heat going into the Christmas and holiday week.

He then offered to come over the weekend, despite knowing this building well and knowing that contractors are not allowed on weekends. That was not a real solution, it was an empty offer made after days of missed commitments.

At no point was another technician offered. No contingency plan. No urgency. Just repeated rescheduling followed by abandonment at the worst possible time of year.

If you value reliability, honesty, or basic follow-through, do not use this company.

I don’t even know where to begin describing how wonderful it was working with Marvin and his crew at Beyond Cooling. I’ll never call anyone else again!

I reached out to multiple hvac companies over the summer, desperate to get a ducted system in our 1952 cape cod. Our summers were HOT and winters were cold. We were rolling with window AC’s in our home and it’s been rough. Finding anyone to reply quickly and kindly was difficult, except for Marvin. He replied the same day and was out quickly to do a detailed estimate and describe his suggestions. I was upfront with him that I had no idea how we could even afford it, but he still took his time with us and never once pressured us. He connected me with an incredible financing company so I can afford the payments and the process was really easy. He also referred me to a great company to get better insulation in my house that ended up paying for itself with rebates. The difference it all made is crazy!

The week of install, the entire crew was polite and professional, cleaning up after themselves each day, and even put up with my barking dog.

I could write pages on my positive experience with them, but I’ll just say, you seriously can’t go with anyone better than Beyond Cooling. Our house feels like a warm blanket now in these freezing temps!! I can already see my electric and gas usage has gone down on my BGE portal. Our upstairs rooms in our cape cod have been freezing every winter, but they are toasty and comfortable now.

I can't express in words how very PLEASED and THANKFUL I am for Marvin and his company, Beyond Cooling LLC!! I had never heard of him, but he came HIGHLY recommended, so I decided I'd give his company a shot at installing a new and energy efficient HVAC (my old unit was 15 years old). I'm so GLAD I selected him!! Marvin provided me with an AMAZING and top of the line HVAC at a price within my budget!! He was thorough, professional, and explained everything to me in detail.

But that's not all!! Marvin helped me fill out an application for a 2 year interest-free loan for my HVAC just days before Maryland discontinued the Clean Energy program for loans. Because of Marvin, I was approved for the loan, received the $2,000 tax credit, AND $4,000 off the cost of my HVAC (BGE provided the $4,000 off for the program)!!

All of Marvin's competitors REFUSED to assist me with the application and tried to sell me less efficient products for more money!!

I'm sooo happy with my new HVAC, and I have already seen a decrease in my energy usage!! I DEFINITELY recommend Beyond Cooling LLC!!!

I was very please with the service from Sila and Tony my service technician was polite, professional, efficient, and friendly. He was able to quickly identify was the faulty component was and had the necessary replacement part on his truck. My AC unit was fully functioning in less then an hour. I will be a Sila customer for life!

Both men Chuong & An who installed my upgraded high velocity AC were great! Professional, efficient, very knowledgeable, hard-working and responsive. I made the right choice with Sila! The other employees, John, the man who brought the equipment and hauled away the old, Tony, and Anthony, all good. It’s a pleasure working with them and the company.

Keith Jackson was really phenomenal. He was professional, got the work done, and provided me with suggestions for improvements and got me set up with an appointment for a replacement. Really appreciated him.

The sales representatives were knowledgeable about how to meet the needs of my individual project and took the time to take detailed notes and walk through each room prior to creating the proposal estimate. They answered questions and were responsive when I contacted them. Scheduling was a breeze and the technicians showed up on time. They were professional, took care to protect floors and furniture in spaces they were working and cleaned up each day of the installation! The technicians walked through to finalize plans/answer questions before starting and made sure to work with me to find solutions when the building structure did not allow vents to be exactly located as originally planned. The technicians took care to do as little damage to drywall/ceilings as possible and really were amazing because they found ways to do LESS damage than initially estimated!! I’m happy with my high quality, efficient and unobtrusive A/C set up and the entire installation process!

Our furnace broke two days before Christmas and Sila sent a rep out within an hour to give us a quote. They had a great team out the next morning and did great work to get our heat back up and running. The whole Sila team was professional, very understanding, and did what it took to get us heat for the holidays. I would recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC work.

Overall, pleased with the service. The tech they sent was on time, friendly, and efficient. He diagnosed the issue quickly.

Criticisms:
1. Weekend answering service is not good...I got bad info. They should scrap that and just have a voicemail.

2. Price for cleaning my ductless unit was quoted at over $500.00. That is a very expensive rinse. The tech showed me the dirty component...said it would be quick/easy to accomplish. 500 dollars? In this economy??!

3. Tech arrived at the very front of a 5 hour service window. After he poked around the unit for ~15 minutes, diagnosed and described the ease of the job required, he then told me he did not have time to accomplish that task (cleaning), and I would have to call back and schedule it. Tough pill to swallow, but so be it.

My experience with Sila was fantastic. Tony arrived at my home shortly after my AC failed. He was very professional. He took his time to explain what was wrong with my unit and answered all my questions. I recommend Sila for any of your heating and AC needs. Ask for Tony! You will not be disappointed with your service.

Sila Service repairman Keith came to our house today . In the Five years he is the absolute best man for the job.
He is the first one that has come and resolve the issue without leaving our home. He also assured us that everything will be covered as it was a malfunction of one of the pieces in the motherboard. He was respectful, professional, and I really hope he’s the one that comes back and continues to work with our air conditioning system Keith I hope you get this message because you deserve it. You deserve recognition because in this world there are very few that actually do their job.

Zahir Abdul-Hakim performed annual maintenance on my High velocity AC unit this morning with professionalism and attention to detail. He informed me of his findings and was very pleasant and respectful. I highly recommend Sila for your AC needs.
