Zahir was my technicians name and he stopped by to do a AC tune up. He was exceptionally thorough and explained to me everything he was testing. Turns out my compressor is about to die on my Central AC condenser. Zahir was able to check and was able to find out that my compressor is still under warranty, so I’ll I need to pay for is the labor to get it replaced.

I’ve used Sila for many years, and the service they provide has always been amazing. Highly recommend.

My tech, Anthony, was polite, courteous, and very knowledgeable of his craft. He had to order a part that was out of state. It came in faster than expected. He made two trips and was in and out and got my A/C back up and running in no time. I would definitely call Sila again.

When our ac broke we decided it was time to replace it. I scoured the internet and found that Sila had great reviews across the board and decades of experience. I called and was given a next-day free consultation. Luis was exceptionally thorough and gave estimates that best suited our needs and budget. He knew how important it was for us to have a working ac in the summer heat and 48 hours later we had a brand new unit put in. Thomas and his partner Manuel did an incredible job from start to finish. They arrived promptly first thing in the morning and in a few hours managed to get the new ac up and running including new wiring, tubing and a return. Before leaving, they made sure everything was working smoothly and that we were happy with the work done. They were so professional and kind. They are truly an incredible team. I highly recommend Sila!

Sila is not the company it used to be, if indeed it ever was. It is a total scam now. In 2011, we hired them to install a Spacepac HVAC system in our old radiator-heated home. The cost was approximately $15,000, and the work was mostly satisfactory, except for some hard-sell and environmental issues. The salesman insisted on a certain A/C component even though we asked for another Energy Star model. The workmen left piles of dust around the house even though I waw nine-months pregnant, and called me "crazy" for complaining.

Sila inspected our system annually and never found a problem.

Then things got weird. In 2024, after my husband put a filter in backwards causing the system to trip, Silo charged us $600 to replace the thermostat and have "free" annual inspections.

Later in the year, we inquired about adding a heat pump. They inspected the system, said it was fine but would need "upgrades" (additional flexible lines, etc.) that would cost $24,000 entail days if work.

At our next (and last) "free" annual inspection in 2024, technician Vaccaro came out and said our system was dirty, rusted out, had old freon and needed to be totally replaced for $16,000! He blamed us for not replacing the filters even though we had them replaced just as Sila had recommended. He claimed that the filters had to be replaced every six months.

We called another local plumbing company that said the freon was fine and the system just needed to be cleaned with bleach and have a PVC vent line installed. (Silo had erroneously omitted installing the moisture venting line in 2011.) The local plumber completed the work in a couple of hours for $160!

My advice: stay away from this "company" unless you want to be ripped off. They are not --as we erroneously thought--the only game in town. Other companies do this type of work in older homes.

After messaging with SILA online, a technician arrived within two hours the week of a huge heat wave. Tony was very helpful knowledgeable, and gave great advice as to what I needed now and what to do for the future.

Anthony was a wonderful technician. He showed up on time and fixed the problem quickly and showed me how to fix it if it ever happens again. Also, Anthony is a dog lover and it was impressive how he handled our dog who has visitor disorder.

Tony provided exceptional service, polite and very knowledgeable. He arrived on time, and was very friendly. He gave me some pro-tips on maintaining my unit, professionally explained my issue and how to better manage my thermostat.he even did one or two little things to help my unit run more efficiently. I’d definitely use them again without a doubt. Highly recommended.

My critique to the company would be tell your customers what they are about to be charged for before you perform the work. In my case he had to do some wiring work to figure out my issue. If he didn’t fix my issue would I still have been charged? We will never know because he fixed it! So I gladly paid!

I don’t usually post reviews but I had to take the time to acknowledge the service I received from my technician Zahir Abdul-Hakim. He arrived promptly within the time I requested, he set the expectation for my service call. It didn’t not take him long to resolve my issues and he explained in detail what to look out for potential issues. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism that I am going to schedule him for additional work. I also recommended him to a few of my friends. Sila, you did an awesome job with selecting this young man to represent your company.

This was a very professional installation. Information and progress updates were provided. The team was competent, confident, and friendly. They have pride in their company and product. We had no concerns having them going in and out of our house up to the third floor and attic all day (it took 11 hrs - partly weather-related). The heat up there was oppressive and eventually there was a massive downpour. They persisted, nonetheless. Well done.

We didn’t have heating and Zahir came out and ensured everything with our furnace was working perfectly by the time he left! He was very thorough in explaining what was going wrong and extremely knowledgeable about next steps. I called with an emergency and need someone asap. Tario HVAC came out that same day. They not only fixed the issue, but showed me other issues that could have caused more damage later. They fixed everything at a very reasonable price. I am greatful.

This is the second call made for two different situations and Jose of Tario Hvac, came to the rescue. My hvac system was making a noise and Tario hvac came out to service it. All is fixed and working perfectly.
