My meeting with Brad Eckroth was a pleasure. Brad was very knowledgeable for what I needed. He made me and my daughter very comfortable when explaining the length of the process, the cost, and also being familiar with the area. I will recommend Clarksville Construction Services, Inc. and Brad Eckroth to anyone in need of their services.

Clarksville Construction did a great job replacing my roof. The crew was efficient, completing the project in one day even after finding some unexpected damage that needed a little more than expected attention. The clean up was perfect too with no extra materials or nails anywhere. Thanks for a job well done and a beautiful new roof.

We hired Clarksville to renovate two bathrooms in our 100-year-old house last year.

    Proposal:
Clarksville’s salesperson happened to be the founder and owner (Adam). He is very knowledgeable and followed up with us regularly while we waited on quotes from other companies. Their proposal was by far the most thorough. While they have a reputation for being expensive, due to their size and overhead, their price was surprisingly close to estimates from Blackstone Kitchen & Bath, BST Design & Build, and Valor Home. In the end, we selected them because none of the other contractors provided as much detail in their proposal.

    Process:
Clarksville has a streamlined process and an exemplary management structure. We had a program manager, Mike Z., who directed and communicated with the team, sub-contractors, sorted out design issues, coordinated with County inspectors, made sure we had all the suitable materials before work commenced. His assistant, Kandace, worked with vendors to help us get the best deals and procured all the tiles, vanities, countertops, glass doors, shower trims, steam generator (we had a steam sauna installed in one bathroom), and accessories. Kandace made sure all the materials got delivered on time. She was the person who managed and updated our project schedule in buildertrend, which allowed us to manage our project from abroad. She was extremely helpful in getting the best price for the materials. Clarksville brings enough volume in business that they can negotiate with preferred vendors to match what was estimated in the proposal, so you’re never paying retail prices.

Clarksville used buildertrend for project management. We can see all the parts and materials ordered, specifications, quantity, photos, budgeted and actual costs plus labor, and a project calendar that shows all the tasks performed each day. I can always count on her to respond to my questions and concerns and relay them to Mike and the rest of the team and sub-contractors as needed. Both Mike and Kandace were wonderful to work with, and I appreciated their expertise and always asked for their opinion when I needed o make a decision. While we knew what we wanted and pretty much stayed the course in terms of design for the two bathrooms, they helped make sure we understood each decision point’s potential pros and cons, including cost, quality, installation, and possible maintenance issues.

We were also lucky to be assigned to a project team led by Marco, the nicest guy we had come across in the 20 years we’ve dealt with home contractors. He and his crew were respectful, down-to-earth, and worked hard - bracing the cold while cutting and sanding tiles and wood out in the middle of winter. Some of his guys worked through holidays, including Thanksgiving. Each team member has expertise in demolition, carpentry, tile installation, or painting, making them very efficient.

    Sub-contractors:
Clarksville only uses master electricians and master plumbers. We had plumbers from John Bounds Plumbing work on our project. The project included one steam sauna and one regular shower. These guys were very meticulous and precise and took pride in their craftsmanship. The pipework behind the wall is simply beautiful. One of them spent hours in the crawlspace putting a drain line to the steam generator that now sits in our hallway closet. They showed up on time, every time, and always did a walk-through with our project manager before doing their work. Our master electrician was from Maryland Electric. They were very professional, friendly, and helpful, even offering to put in a few dimmer switches for us, which worked out great for our all-white bathrooms.

Throughout our renovation, everyone from Clarksville and their sub-contractors was professional helpful, doing more than they needed to help realize our dream bathrooms. We highly recommend them to anyone who wishes to have a worry-free experience while renovating their bathroom.

Had an excellent experience with Clarksville Construction! Replaced framing around front door and caulking. Great results! Matt Thompson walked us through what to expect and we are extremely satisfied.

Clarksville construction renovated a screen porch for us. The results were amazing. We went with a vinyl window, full screen product and love that we are now maintenance free. The project consultant and crew were such a pleasure to have at our home. Very respectful and easy to approach with any questions or concerns. We are so very satisfied!!

Clarksville Construction did some major work in my Condo. I am very happy with the work they did. The workers were great, and whenever I had questions and emailed the representative, I received a response within an hour. The communication was superb. I would use them again.

I can't recommend the team at Clarksville Construction highly enough! From start to finish, our renovation was in great hands. Adam, Randall, Alissa and the entire team did a great job. They were patient when I took longer than I should have making selections, but once the work began everything went quickly. The crew was competent, reliable, friendly and kept the disruption to the rest of our home to a minimum. I trust them to do the job right, get all the necessary permits and inspections, hit the timeline, and come in on budget. Definitely will use them again in the future!

Our bay window's wood had rotted in places and Matt Thompson gave me a reasonable quote which I accepted. The work began promptly and during dismantlement some rot was found on an underlying 2 x 6. Clarksville extended the scope of the repair at no charge. The well executed repair using non-wood materials should last longer than the rest of the house.

I have used Clarksville Construction for many home renovations; their Handyman Services are excellent. When I have a problem, I call them and they come quickly and take care of the situation.

Their employees are easy to work with and complete the task in a neat workman like manner.

Unfortunately, I can not recommend this company. We had an addition put on and turned our garage into a sunroom by this company. From the beginning mistakes were made starting with the wrong windows being installed in sunroom at first, exterior door installed on an interior space, door locks not keyed properly and they were installed upside down and the wrong size garage door was ordered so we had to wait weeks for a new one. With garage door being late mini split was installed before garage door came and the metal rail was too long and blocked accessing mini split so we had to have the rail cut. Exterior side wall had to be redone since it wasn’t a smooth transition between addition and existing room. Roof had to be redone after we noticed a leak in our sunroom and it had a hump in it where the existing roof ended and the new roof on addition started. Roof shingles not laying down even after I was told they would when it got hot. We had to pay extra to fix the hump in the roof even though it should have been done right from the beginning. New garage door installed has broken seal on two windows. When brought to their attention I was told it was missed paint when it was actually the seal. Waiting on weather to get really cold so we can point out ones with defect so we can have them replaced. New windows that would not close properly had to be fixed. We had to pay extra for concrete up against the house when it was in our contract to fill in that area next to sidewalk on the side of the house. My husband tried to tell the workers on the day the concrete was being poured and was told they didn’t have enough to do that part. Poor communication once again. Just one headache after another and now we have boards above the exterior of garage that were pieced together instead of solid planks and are now separating. Painting had to be redone several times where boards came together on addition because white kept showing through. This project seems to have no end and it is very upsetting especially for the money we have paid to have good quality work. I normally don’t call out a company but too many things have been done wrong to recommend them to anyone.

UPDATE - since this review Clarksville Construction has come out and fixed everything that was wrong and now it’s the way it should have been in the first place. Kate was very good about addressing our frustrations and sent a crew out quickly to make things right. The crew did a wonderful job and communicated with us every step of the way to make sure everything was done right.

Had the CCS team reskin a 10x12 deck, steps and add vinyl railing and skirting to it and an adjoining screened in porch. Completed to my specifications and quality levels. Satisfied customer.

Clarksville Construction Services (CCS) was highly recommended by a cousin. Their home was renovated and it was spectacular. The first employee we spoke to was Beth, who kindly arranged the meeting with Project Consultant Quelvin. We were impressed with their business model and signed a contract for a bathroom renovation. Randall was our Project Manager and Madelin was our Internal Coordinator. This was our first renovation and we were guided and supported by these two amazing employees. The customer service provided was top notch. There were small teams of employees who did their specific specialties (demolition, tiling, painting, plumbing). I would like to do a shout out to Sergio and Manuel who did the tile job. The attention to detail was stunning! Juan Carlos, Daniel, Jairo, Brandon, Ryan, Gustavo, Alvie, Anderson, Andy, Uriel, Ludvin, Manuel, Javier, Mynor, and one other gentleman (I believe his name was Makai and had periodically dropped off supplies) were friendly, professional, and respectful of our home. The team had meticulously covered the high traffic work areas and cleaned up at the end of the day. The quality of the work is exceptionally phenomenal. Our friends and family had the same thoughts about the finished project.
We appreciated CCS’s communication on what was to be done throughout the process. After the renovation was completed, Project Consultant Doug did a walk-thru. It was conveyed to him that we were extremely pleased and ecstatic how the new bathroom turned out. We have recently signed a new contract with CCS for Project #2. Thank you!

A few months ago, I had my master bathroom remodeled by Clarksville Construction. My initial consultation with Doug Worm went well. He gave me the history and culture of Clarksville, as well as their commitment to doing great work. I appreciate that they have an amazing warranty plan. I was sold on that day.

The PM and his assistant were at my beck and call. I appreciate the care and attention that Mattie and Randall gave to me and my project. The crews came in and were very respectful. I even went out of the country for a week and felt comfortable allowing the crew access to my home. I was so excited once the project was complete and I could finally use my bathroom. It turned out more spectacular than I could imagine.

Clarksville Constructions Services just completed an outdoor project for me. They offered a fair price and the work was completed on time and on budget. I worked with Britney Cuffley as the project coordinator and Joseph Janowiec as the project superintendent. Both were terrific to work with -- polite, professional, personable, and very customer-focused. And the crew that came out in icy weather couldn't have been more dedicated, staying well more than 8 hours a day to complete the work. If you're looking for a great company to work on your home, you've found them in Clarksville Constructions Services, Inc.!

I inquired about having my old tub replaced with a tiled shower. Julian came out, took measurements and gave a quote. No hard sell. Britney contacted me and explained the steps from there. They use a website (Buildertrend) which shows the schedule and selections to choose from. Really convenient. Britney was great with this. I met with JJ (Project Manager) and the worker who was dedicated for the duration of the job. JJ stopped by most days to check on things. The project went perfectly and on schedule. Couldn't have been better. A huge thanks to Clarksville Construction Services.

My new addition is gorgeous! We got an age-in-place addition for single level living. Thoughtful design based on our needs. High quality workmanship throughout the whole process. Exceptional customer service from all employees. Addressed any questions in a professional and timely manner. So good, I have already contracted them for other work on my house. Highly recommend.

My wife and I wanted to provide more space for our family and create a home we could enjoy for years to come. The plan was to completely renovate the main floor of our home, build an addition with three bedrooms and a bath, as well as an attic for storage. We found Clarksville Construction after investing about 7 months planning the project with another general contractor. That general contractor informed us they were no longer interested in performing our renovations right before construction was set to begin. This was a very frustrating and stressful time during our project…until we met Adam August and his team at Clarksville Construction.

Clarksville has been a first class organization from the first contact through completion of the project. We have peace of mind knowing our project was in the right hands.

The project involved a complete demo of the main floor and attic (including removing the roof), all new plumbing, electric, HVAC, roof, flooring, tile, stairs, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, front porch, upgrading utilities, & etc. It was a complex project and most general contractors told us it would take 6-8 months to complete. Clarksville completed the project in a professional manner in only 4 ½ months.

As is the case with any project of this size we hit a few bumps in the road along the way, but Clarksville always had a plan, and kept the project moving forward. That was a big relief for us because the project required us to be displaced right as our kids returned to school.

We really appreciate the hard work of all Clarksville employees involved with our project. They showed a great deal of care and attention to detail while performing work on our dream house.

We plan to continue using Clarksville for future construction projects as well as handyman and maintenance services.

Thank you Adam and the team at Clarksville…you saved our project and have been a blessing to our family!!
