We have been with them since 2019 and every interaction we've had with the office as well as all of the technicians have always been pleasant and positive.
Very responsive to phone calls and emails. Fair pricing! They replaced our HVAC and hot water heater. All work was done exactly as promised. All the workmen were, professional and respectful of my property.

We also had them replace a mini split in our spare room, big improvement!

They do our spring and fall tune up every year. A breeze to schedule and all questions and concerns are promptly taken care of. What more could you want!

Had my first routine HVAC maintenance with D&A Heating and Cooling this past Friday, and overall, it was a great experience. My technician was friendly, professional, and clearly communicated his arrival time within the scheduled window, which I really appreciated. He walked me through everything he was doing and explained his recommendations thoroughly.

After he left, I did notice that my AC wasn’t cooling and was just blowing room temperature air. I gave them a call, and it turned out the unit hadn’t been fully reconnected. The technician gave me a clear window for his return, came back promptly, and fixed the issue quickly.

Mistakes happen, but what really matters is how they’re handled and I was REALLY impressed with the communication and resolution. Great service overall, and they definitely have my business moving forward!!

"I recently had D&A Service Company replace my old HVAC system. From the first call, their office staff was professional and helped me schedule an appointment quickly. I had a great experience with D&A. I was looking for someone to install ductwork for my kitchen range hood. I reached out to numerous places but what set DNA apart from the rest of the places were their knowledge about local building codes and requirements, for example are very familiar with building codes in the DC area and they inform me about having to get makeup air since my hood was over 400 CFMs. Their knowledge about the type of ductwork you need to install. Also the quality of their customer service. Other contractors fail to disclose this type of information which would have caused us to have problems down the line.

The technician was prompt, friendly and provided advance notice of his arrival. Great at communicating and addressign any potential issues with my HVAC. I have an annual maintenance plan and will continue to renew it.

They showed up on time, were very good about answering questions and did a thorough job of installing and testing the new heat pump and furnace, and showing the options available with the new thermostat.

I got 5 bids to put split ductless units in my 1915 bungalow; the people from D&A Service were prompt and polite in their communication, their bid was the second lowest - but the lowest bid didn’t include the electrical work needed, and did not come with the warranty and guarantees that D&A offered. The D&A staff arrived on time, they were friendly and did excellent work very efficiently, including taking down a curtain in order to work in a tight space, then replacing it, and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic service, great communication, prompt responses -- glad I hired them. They installed an upstairs splitter to provide air conditioning to the upstairs. Equipment worked great and when any issues arose, they came to address them quickly and cheerfully.

The installation of my new furnace/AC was just completed. I also needed to have damaged return ducts in the attic replaced. A new area for easy filter replacement was cut out and placed inside my home. These
guys were very professional, and easy to talk to. I wouldn't hesitate to refer this company to my friends and family!

D&A Heating & Cooling replaced my broken furnace humidifier with a new fan assisted unit. Wow. In a day's time I noticed a difference in the humidity in the entire house and the air is now comfortable. The D&A team was on time to perform the work. They provided details of the new humidifier and fully explained functionality of the new Aprilaire model. D&A has always provided excellent work at my residence, and I highly recommend them.

Company did a wonderful clean job of installing new furnace. Best service and prices!! Will be using for my maintenance as well! I also had new hot water tank put in. They are very professional and did a wonderful job.

We called D&A yesterday after office hours explaining that our furnace wasn't working. Fortunately they were able to schedule an appointment for today. (Nights are getting pretty cold now.) The D&A service technician was great. He was knowledgeable and efficient, quickly servicing and fixing our furnace. He also explained what we should do to prevent a recurrence.

Our heat went out and D&A was able to come quickly, diagnose the problem, and get our heat back and running really quickly. Both guys that came were super friendly, professional, and had it diagnosed and fixed in about 30 minutes. Hopefully we don't have to see them anytime soon, but we will definitely be using them in the future if needed. Thank you!!

The HVAC systems were installed by them few months ago. Was having some issues with one thermostat and I called they were here within 24 hours and fixed the issue. They have done great job installing the systems and are very responsive when needed, be it a question or for them to visit
