The guy Douglas Pacheco is very rude. Poor professionalism. Only put a bandaid/quick fix to our hvac unit. Hard to contact when needed a fix to his previous repairs.

I called KND Heating and Cooling back in August because are AC was not working and let them know that I had a infant and our house was extremely hot. They sent over a technician almost immediately and had my AC working in a short amount of time. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them. All my friends and family are aware of them and as well will be using them.

Very knowledgeable and professional, knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it. My heating system had not been cleaned in years unbeknownst to me(prior to my move) one week ago, he cleaned and repaired the system to perfection. He provided tips to keep the system clean moving forward. My HVAC is working perfectly now. I highly recommend this service.

I recently moved into my new house less than a month ago and my heater stopped working. I did not have a regular HVAC service company and did not know who I could trust, however, I was blessed to find KND. Douglas was awesome, very professional, knowledge, very wise and trustworthy. He was straightforward, explained every step and even showed me the problem. Gave me great advice on what to do to keep my furnace running efficiently. This company provides immediate, punctual and cost effective service. I now have a great HVAC company I can rely on. Do yourself a favor and call them for all your needs.

Our heat went out randomly in December, and an employee named Douglas Pacheco came to take a look. After assessing, he was able to give us a quote. We told him we would think about it and get back to him because we have another HVAC person we are waiting to hear from that could give us a better rate.

Douglas then suggested that instead of paying the higher premium with the company, just pay him under the table (red flag #1 🚩).

Out of desperation, and the desire to repair our unit within our budget, we agreed to pay him directly. He fixed the issue, and exactly one month later the heat goes out again. After contacting him on an early Tuesday afternoon to assess the repair, he responded saying he would come by later that day. He NEVER showed up. My husband called him at 7:00pm and Douglas responded with “I can’t make it today”.

It was such a disregard for our time and was super unprofessional. We could have spent time at a friend’s place instead of waiting in an unheated home. If my husband hadn’t called to inquire, we would have still been waiting to hear back from him.

The following morning he sends a message at 9:00am to say he will be there at 9:15 (red flag #2 🚩). It was extremely short notice, and we are both very busy working parents, with two toddlers (one which needs to be driven to school around that time).

When he arrives at the door, he demands an $85 assessment fee.

He gave us zero notice that we would be charged again, especially since the issue could easily be from a failure on his part since he did the “repair” 4 weeks prior. And just a disclaimer, we have a brand new HVAC system with a 10yr warranty that was installed 2 yrs ago by a different HVAC guy.

Anyways, when we asked him why weren’t we informed about the fee beforehand and expressed to him that we waited for him the previous day, he caught a nasty attitude.

So instead of apologizing for the poor communication in his end, he continues to stubbornly repeat “I never set a time”. I then asked, “Then why did you express that you would come?”. He continues to repeat “I never set a time”. At that point he decided to walk back to his vehicle and leave…wasting everyone’s time (Final red flag 🚩).

It was beyond frustrating to try having a conversation with someone who was unable to be accountable for their actions. We trusted him because we were desperate for our home to be heated when it was 20 degrees outside, and freezing in our home. We surely won’t make that mistake again. Maybe there are other quality employees at this company, but in our experience Douglas is not one of them.

He showed us that he is not trustworthy, lacks respect, and displayed poor business acumen.

Met with Douglas and Team. They came to do AC maintenance. I have a 3 level townhome and upstairs wasn’t cooling the way I wanted it to. Nevertheless they came, fixed the problem. I don’t know about HVAC but I could tell that Douglas and his partner were meticulous about making sure that the temp and the ducts and the dampers were working just the way I like it :). He was very pleasant and professional. I recommended him to my HOA group.

Also communication was top notch. They texted when they were on their way and an ETA. I was able to get same day service thankfully too. Very happy. Will reach out to them if I ever have AC maintenance issues.

Douglas and his assistant were professional and pleasant. They made every effort to solve our issue, and in the process checked out our system so thoroughly. We are very pleased with their attentive service and highly recommend KND.

Douglas came out to look at my upstairs AC unit since it was not working properly. He came the next day and did the thorough Evaporator coil cleaning and drain pipe cleaning with before and after photos and videos, explained in depth of what he found and performed. Very professional and pleased with the service. Would recommend to my friends and family.
