I had KND install a split system Daikin system that I purchased off amazon. They only charged me labor, which was very reasonable. Douglas stayed in constant communication on install date, and any issues that came up. Very happy with the results, and would absolutely use KND for any future HVAC needs. A++

KND installed a new unit for me. They had a super fast response time and were able to accommodate my schedule. The technician was very kind, respectful and honest. And seemed very knowledgeable. They were also able to answer my questions before beginning. You could see the confidence in the work. I’m happy I chose them and would definitely refer them and use them again in the future.

Fantastic experience all around. Unlike the big corporations, this is your local small business experience: no fancy scheduling, no administrative overhead, just great service at fair prices. Our A/C wouldn't turn on at the start of the season. Douglas came out, took a look, took the measurements, fixed it, and we were nice and chill for the weekend. I'd probably be still scheduling around with the big companies, for the "next available" slot. I appreciate the honest pricing and a through check-up. Thank you!

Duglas and team completed the job and provided great customer service. Cleaned up behind themselves and made some great recommendations for consideration. He wasn’t pushy to make a sale but wanted to resolve the issue and leave me in a much better position. Great work!

KND was fantastic. In the middle of a heatwave, our AC started making a high pitched chirping noise. KND came out the same day, and figured out exactly what was going wrong. At first it seemed like the part wouldn't be available for five more days, but they kept calling around until they found the part on the next day, meaning we only had to spend one night in the heat. Douglas in particular was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. KND will be our go-to people for HVAC issues, etc. from here on. Thank you!

KND came to check my previous HVAC system, the system worked properly but it needed some freon, I requested for recharging freon or take care of leakage but they recommended for whole-system replacement, we have done contract and replaced the system on July 2021, after replacement, there is no enough cooling and heating at my house and the outside unit (heat pump) make frozen, I sent the pictures, they made the appointment, there are couple weeks still am waiting for them and nobody showed up and just continued keep changing the appointment.

I would actually prefer to give a zero rating. We purchased our home from a flip and this company was used to install our hvac system before we moved in. We immediately noticed that our system was not working correctly less than a year after install. At first the KND team was responsive and professional. They diagnosed our system as needing additional coolant and it could not be done until it was at least 65 degrees. Since their diagnosis, KND has disappeared. They made appointments and then they never showed. Now they will not respond to texts or calls. Our system has now completely quit working in addition to the fact that it was never fully charged. Do not use this company unless you want subpar work, faulty install, and technicians who disappear when it’s time to honor their guarantees.

Best service! I will definitely recommend them , Douglas is very professional with a lot of knowledge he will take good care of your problem! Recently a had 2 different companies that came to look at my ac unit and I was told it needed to be replace but Douglas came and find the problem in 30 min ! Now my ac unit is running like new !

Very professional and trust worthy services, he’s always on time and it’s always a pleasure to have someone we can trust in our home and consider a great friend now! Most recently our furnace stopped working and we called C&V home services and they came by the same day and ordered the new parts it took about 3 days for the part to arrive and almost immediately they came back and had our furnace running again it was such a relief especially with the cold weather coming.

We are repeat customers with C&V. When we made the first service call, Carlos was the only HVAC company to answer at 4 PM on a Friday, and came out right away on Saturday. We had to have a furnace fan motor replaced. He was up-front about the pricing, which I thought was very fair. The second call was again a surprise fix for our air conditioning pump that we discovered late on Friday. Carlos came back out, explained the problem clearly and our options, and quickly fixed it. I'd recommend C&V to anyone, best HVAC company we've used.

Carlos is very professional, reliable, detail oriented and he really cares about the customer’s satisfaction. He goes out of his way to make sure everything is done exactly as requested. And after he is done with the work, everything is cleaned and all garbage is taken out; there will be no mess left. He installed my mini split HVAC unit with 2 indoor units in my apartment and everything works great. The exterior piping was nicely covered and neatly laid out. He is also very handy with electrical work. For example, he installed a brand new doorbell for my front door (transformer and all). It was done professionally and worked great! Along with the electrician, he also helped lay down the wiring in our small crawlspace, which was a really tough task. Everything was done on time. Definitely my go to guy from now on.

I called in the morning and Carlos and his helper were here that same afternoon!! Carlos was profesional, prepared and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain and show me everything he was doing. I really appreciated his honesty, I didn't not feel like he was just trying to get money for a job, but that he really cared that I understood the problem with my AC and how he was going to fix it. C & V has a customer for life, I highly recommend this company for all of ur AC and heating needs!

Carlos provided us excellent service in a pinch when our AC went down. He came within a day to evaluate our need and promptly repaired it with a part he had on hand. We were grateful not to spend another August night in DC without the AC. It also helps that Carlos is personable, friendly and easy to work with. We will be using him again and recommending him for future jobs.

This review is a bit late but very necessary. One week ago I hired the services of C&V. They came to my home for an HVAC system tune-up. I got more than I expected. I received an education in how my system runs, what to look for and how to do simple maintenance.

Carlos took his time explaining to me the things I needed to know. He is patience, professional, knowledgeable, humble and very respectful of his clients and their home.
He answered my questions and took the guesswork out of the way. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience

My system is now working beautifully. See you for my Spring tune-up.
