I hired this company to clean my air ducts as well as my dryer vent. Although they did a decent job cleaning the air ducts, they failed to inspect and clean the dryer vent, a service I was charged $150 to be completed. I didn't realize they had NOT inspected or cleaned the dryer vent until this past weekend, which was four months after they had visited my home. An issue was discovered during a furnace check-up.. while the HVAC technician was in this service room, he noticed that the dryer was actually exhausting into the house where the furnace is located (it was running at the time.) Most of the debris was landing on a high shelf, which I cannot see unless I'm standing on a ladder.

I called a friend of mine who now works for a reputable local air duct cleaning company, and after inspecting the dryer venting system, he stated: the flex between the floor retainer and the concrete could not have been connected when the cleaning happened due to the fact of there being still an excessive amount of lint and build-up within the flex run. He also noted that for the flex to be installed, it would have to been bent and squished to fit in between that space which comprises the sustainability of the flex. We found YEARS of debris (lint and pet hair) in the space where the flex run ended, which should have been discovered during the 'cleaning' process. As you will see from the photos, there wasn't even a connection between the flex run to the outside exhaust flap!

I contacted the company asking for my $150 back, and emailed photos we took to the owner, while the dryer vent was being repaired. The email I received back from the owner (who didn't give his name) was condescending, rude, didn't make sense, and he accused ME of creating the issue (or possibly an animal that had crawled in and disconnected the flex run made the mess. LOL!) He refused to talk to me over the phone and obviously doesn't care or does he plan to reimburse me for the work that clearly was NOT completed as promised.

Additionally, the new HVAC repairman offered to check my air ducts and found years of filth, which he cleaned for me. I would not recommend 'The Carpet & Air Duct Man' for any of your needs... they are incapable of doing quality work or treating customers with respect. Please note that I wouldn't be writing this review if I had been treated with even the smallest amount of respect or had been refunded the $150 for the work that was not done.

Excellent, professional and affordable services. I used them twice at my old property and I will be using their services moving forward as long as I live in Baltimore.

Johnny and his crew were very professional ..Did a great job on our Ducts & Carpets in the whole house .. They went beyond what they were paid to do and Clean all the filters in my clean air Machine .Didn't charege anymore than the original contract.. Just nice Happy People that loves there job..We will hire them agin .

We hired Johnny and his team to come in and install new floors from where my dogs had destroyed them. He was very knowledgeable and recommended great flooring for us at a great price!!!! The guys showed up that week on time and we’re finished by the end of the day. The following weekend I had them come do my air ducts and I can’t say enough good things about Anthony and his co-worker (can’t remember his name) but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us!!!!

Did a great job on my Air Ducts and my rugs ..very professional.. Johnny and his crew went the work we had agree to do ..Took the rugs back to shop and cleaned over to make sure where the pup peed there would be no scent… Brought them back and didn’t charge extra… Very true to his word in contract… We will definitely hire them again… sincerely , Gary & Barbie Kameika

Awesome job! Johnny, Ricky and Mikie!! I could not be happier!! My house is 14 years old and I'm sure the ducts have never been cleaned. Johnny and crew arrived on time, 8 am on a Sunday and drove 2 1/2 hrs from the shop to my house in Selbyville Delaware.
They immediately identified mold in the ducts and on the inside of the vents. They removed all the ceiling vents and return vents, cleaned them sprayed them, cleaned and swept all of the duct work in the house and replaced all the vents. They also cleaned all of the exhaust fans in both bathrooms. Next was the drier vent and tubing which were practically clogged.
All work was completed in a timely manner!

Johnny is the best. Great service. Great value. Prompt. Professional. What more could you want. My carpet look great and they were pretty sad before he showed up.

My entire condo was completed in one day. The team was professional, hardworking and courteous. The final job was excellent - that is the most important thing, and the cost was within the estimate and perfectly reasonable.

Just wrapped up our second floor carpeting and re-finishing/runner on staircase. Everything went smoothly and the finished product looks great! Office staff is responsive and always makes sure to communicate upcoming appointments. Crews were all skilled and professional. We will continue to use and recommend them for flooring needs!

My dryer wasn’t drying our clothes and towels so we called the place where we bought it and asked them to come out and look at our dryer and right away the technician noticed it was our vent from outside our house was clogged . I needed my dryer vent cleaned from both inside and outside of my house . He referred me to Stanley Steamer because they could have someone come out the next day but when they came out they looked at the vent outside of my house and said we can’t do that because the vent was above 20’ . Apparently they don’t do anything above 20’ ! So I called THE CARPET AND AIR DUCT MAN . They came out and cleaned my dryer vent from both inside and out. And they noticed that my vent on the outside was collecting a lot of lint from what was installed from the builders and they replaced it with their own vent and cover . I paid for the cleaning but they did not charge me for the vent and cover ! It’s been a year now and no issues since they’ve come .

The flooring itself looks great. They worked quickly, and I'm happy with the flooring that was installed. However, I approved an additional charge of $300 to replace the carpet that was on a 2x4 beam by my stairs (in the photos). They replaced only the top with vinyl and left the rest of the beam in the pictured condition - in my opinion, this is not a professionally finished job.
They did come back to clean up the remaining carpet and staples on the beam, but only after I reached out, and refused to install vinyl on the remaining faces.
If I knew it would've been left unfinished, I would've opted for leaving the carpet and saving the extra $300.

I also found many staples on the carpeted stairs (also in the photos), which I also hired them to steam clean, so I'm not very confident that they completed this job either.

Johnny also left me a sample of spot stain remover that works very well. I would highly recommend and will use again.
