The 1956 vintage waste stack to upstairs bathroom was cracked. Mike offered options to fix. He was open to discussion about the best way to address the issue. Once we agreed on the best solution He tried to minimize removing existing dry wall in the ceiling to access and remove old cast iron pipes and replacing with pvc. When finished, he cleaning up. I’ve now had Whistler fixing plumbing issues in my 1956 vintage house 3 times now and have always been happy with their work.

The work that was performed by Tim’s tech, Remington, was to install a gas stove in place of the electric stove. Remington did a great job at explaining everything clearly, and even going above and beyond to ensure that the work would be done that day. The inspection occurred a week later and went perfectly. I will definitely be using Tim again for any work that needs to be done.

Mike & Austin Pizer great plumbers who're genuinely trying to save folks money. Dispatch is another story, so make sure you over communicate. FYI, unlike with other plumbers, free estimates don't include "leak diagnostics." Still worth it.

Great work from Kevin on his efforts in identifying our dishwasher leak, resolving our tub faucet leak issue and identifying a replacement concern for our main water shutoff valve. All this within a 1hr visit. Also, very timely arrival on the early end of the service window. Great work Kevin!

I can't recommend Tim Whistler enough! Their office staff and technicians are all very pleasant and focused on solving the problem at hand. We've had them do work in our home multiple times including a water heater installation and I've never unhappy with their work. Their pricing is also fair and transparent. Best plumbers around!

We have used Tom Whistler Plumbing several times, and couldn't be more impressed. From the start, communication was a breeze. They were incredibly responsive and easy to get in touch with. I also appreciated their punctuality—Tom Whistler Plumbing arrived right on time, and I received helpful text updates with estimated arrival times, which made the whole experience even more convenient.

The customer service is always top-notch - friendly, professional, and transparent about what needs to be done.
Overall, I highly recommend Tom Whistler Plumbing for anyone looking for reliable, efficient, and courteous plumbing services.

Plumber was on time, efficient and took the time to explain what he was doing. Mike repaired a gas line and installed our new oven. Most importantly, he was very patient with my dog, who is a hot mess.

Tim Whistler plumbing is great! Our technicians, Mike and Kevin, were fantastic. We had a main line clog, and they were clear up front about pricing and what would be done. They worked quickly, and in about 90 minutes everything was done and back to normal. I’ve used these folks several times, and never been disappointed.

Brandon was on time, informative and quick. Will call for him again if the fireplace needs to be serviced in the future. Great service!

We had to replace our old boiler in the house we just bought. Tim Whistler plumbing gave us an honest assessment of the boiler's condition - we could have had it serviced and maybe squeezed another year or two out of it, but we were going to have to replace it sooner or later (probably sooner). So we had it replaced. This was expensive and we got a couple of quotes, but decided to go with Tim Whistler (even though they weren't quite the cheapest) because I felt better about their attention to detail. The installation went fine - it was done in a day, and they cleaned everything up afterwards. They also scheduled the WSSC inspection for us. The inspector was impressed with their work and said everything was perfect. They came back later to check out a radiator problem. Overall a very positive experience.

We had a sewer backup and Mike Fleming and the team (Mike Rogers and a contractor) did a great job in replacing a part of the sewer pipe of our house under the basement slab. Also, Maria was very kind and responsible for scheduling, and Tim responded quickly whenever I asked questions by email and explained things in detail where needed before and after the work.

More specifically, they came to diagnose the issue with a snake and a camera and identified that there was a root intrusion which blocked and damaged the pipe. They provided honest view and possible (best and worst) scenarios before the actual work. Then, with a two-day work, they broke the floor tiles and concrete slab, replaced the part of pipe with the problem, gravel to bed the pipe and backfill the hole, and fitted the floor with a cement finish. Throughout the work, Mike and the team were professional and friendly. They showed videos and explained the observed issues and made great efforts in addressing the issue. They covered the floor and a door where needed, cleaned up after the work. They of course came on time.

I appreciated their professional attitude and accountability. Hope they will continue the great business practices.

Had a tub faucet that had a constant drip. I requested an appointment late Sunday, and got an appointment scheduled first thing Monday morning. The Tim Whistler dispatcher was pleasant with good communication. The plumber Michael arrived early, was polite and courteous, and immediately diagnosed the problem. The job was complicated due to the older equipment in the house, and Michael was transparent about the possibility of the work resulting in a costlier job. After explaining the details, Michael worked diligently and fixed the faucet, avoiding the costlier result. It was a very pleasant experience, and I intend to use Tim Whistler for future plumbing needs.

As a single woman in a certain zip code, I often get ridiculously overpriced quotes for home repairs, but Tim Whistler Plumbing's recent quote takes the cake. I asked for a quote to fix my sump pump and reconnect my hot water heater exhaust pipe to my chimney liner. They told me that replacing the sump pump motor would cost $3100 because I need a special one to fit in a small space, and that they needed to do $8300 of work to bring things up to code in order to reconnect the exhaust pipe to the chimney liner. Ludicrous. Roto-Rooter replaced my sump pump for under $900 and reconnected the exhaust pipe and chimney liner for $200.

Tim Whistler is my go to for all plumbing needs. They are always reasonable, on time, and their work is professional. When I need them, they have always been able to accommodate scheduling changes or plumbing emergencies like when my water heater ruptured. Always pleasant and helpful too when they come to do their work.

Chris did a fantastic job. Good pricing and straightforward answers designed to actually fix the problem as opposed to nickel and diming me like other plumbing companies. They are my new plumbing company!

Michael was knowledgeable and explained our 2 problems well. His diagnoses made perfect sense and he will return with the garbage disposal to install. he was respectful too.

Had Mike today from Tim Whistler for a sump pump repair/replace. Mike was quick, transparent, and direct. Gave me an all-in quote and replaced the sump pump while he was there. Price was reasonable and service was excellent. I always call Tim Whistler for plumbing. I've never been disappointed.

Unprofessional phone interaction. I called to ask about water-heater routine maintenance and a basic price range. The person on the phone refused to provide any information, made an inappropriate joke, and ended the call with attitude. If this is their front-line customer service, I wouldn’t trust them with my home.
