Get it in writing before you get the work done. The plumber replaced a washer shut off valve with box. Had the wrong part. PVC vs Copper that was installed previously. Cur out the drywall more than needed to make the wrong part work. At the end did not repair the wall. I need to hire another contractor to finish the damage left behind. They provided bill that was not itemized and significantly more than verbal estimate on the phone. Do not recommend due to quality of work and shady practice.

Had my sink drain cleared. Billy and Caleb were very professional and friendly and had the drain cleared in no time. Billy shared where he thought the stoppage was and offered several suggestions what I could do in the line itself to possibly alleviate the problem in the future.

Over the weekend my well pressure tank sprang a leak. Sunday I left a message, hoping to hear from them early Monday morning. The office manager/scheduler called and they were out promptly. They even noticed something I hadn’t mentioned to them, brought it to my daughter’s attention and fixed it too. They always leave their workplace tidy. I have always been very pleased with their work, with them and the way they leave the site.

We discovered a leak in a water pipe in our basement. Michael Runk Plumbing was able to get there in less than two hours from our call and fixed it in about an hour. They were prompt and fixed our issue. The tech was great. Can’t ask for more than that!

Billy came out for an emergency appointment on super bowl sunday within a couple hours. Reasonable price for weekend emergency and he was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Highly recommend

The tech that came out to our
home was Mike. He was very knowledgeable and very nice. Mike was there to disconnect my old kitchen sink in order to make way for a new kitchen install. He did a great job and he will return soon to tie in several items in our new kitchen. I would definitely recommend Michael Runk Plumbing!

Mike was able to replace a faulty shower head in the blink of an eye and then tackled the more complicated process of upgrading our claw foot tub to a tub/shower combo like a true pro! Excellent service & great guy! Highly recommend

We've recently had Bill out for two needs - a new toilet install and an outside faucet leak. He is courteous, on time, and performed both jobs cleanly. Although each required a minor follow up, he fit them into his schedule quickly and completed them happily. AND, how do you beat Free (local) Estimates..! We found both jobs were done well and were less expensive than other contractors (by a lot, in one case!).

I'm in my 60s and I'm an owner of a condo in Baltimore County. I first did business with Practical Plumbing & Heating back in 2008 when I needed my gas fireplace serviced. I've been doing business with Bill Patton of Practical Plumbing & Heating Services ever since that first call in 2008. He's a licensed Master Plumber with over 25 years of experience servicing customers in the Maryland area. Unlike other companies, such as Len the Plumber or Roto Rooter, He is honest, reliable, and reasonable, but that also depends on the job. Recently, I smelled gas in my laundry room, I called 911, and they confirmed it was coming from a hose connected to my furnace. I called Bill the next morning, sent him pictures of the gas line connected to the furnace. He showed up that same day in less than 2 hours, he checked out the situation, and it helped that I sent him photos, because on his way, he stopped to pick up the necessary parts. He was done in less than an hour!! He's the very best at what he does, and moreover, I trust him!!! Every woman that owns a house, but don't have anyone to call in a plumbing or gas emergency situation should definitely reach out to Bill Patton, owner of Practical Plumbing & Heating Services!!!!!!
