We called Michael Runk Plumbing for an emergency service repair because of a suspected natural gas leak behind our fireplace. As they have done with other plumbing related challenges in our house before, my call was taken quickly, an appointment was made right away, well trained and highly professional technicians came to our house, and the potentially dangerous leak was skillfully repaired. I remain grateful to have a reliable, reasonably priced, honest, local choice.

We have been using them since we moved to Eldersburg. They have done excellent work every time. They are pleasant to work with, respectful of the property, and cleanup afterwards. Would highly recommend them to anyone. They replaced our well pump and holding tank today, and it was another great job.

We used Michael Runk Plumbing to replace a flange, three water supply lines, and a reconfiguration of our shower supply lines for our bathroom remodel. Scheduling was quick and easy and they did excellent work at a fair price. We will absolutely use them again and would certainly recommend.

Needed a laundry utility sink installed and a hose bib repaired. Runk completed the tasks with no problem and charged a reasonable price. The workers were polite, honest and explained the work completed. I will definitely call Runk plumbing again.

Always fast and friendly service. Called these guys for more things than I can count including installing new plumbing for a new basement bath and wet bar to several other leaks and misc needs (Ex broken garbage disposal). They always seem to come out the same day with fast and friendly service. Prices are very reasonable.

Great experience through and through. Straightforward, honest, quality work. Steven and RJ fixed our water heater and replaced some old shutoff valves. Polite folks and took the time to hear me out and answer my questions, and provided solid plumbing advice and opinions. Heck even went out of the way to advise some small preventative work to prevent issues pin the future. They double-checked their work on the way out, which I personally like in a plumber- and is a clear sign that they know what they are doing.... Definitely felt like they had the well-being and future of my house in mind.

Leak in the basement below the main water line valve. Mike returned our call within a few minutes & came right over - fixed it within 45 minutes and took away all our stress.

Great experience! We were able to get an appointment quickly. The plumber, Stephen, replaced some ancient pipes to resolve our issue and the job was completed much sooner than we expected. He carefully cut and removed only the necessary amount of drywall to access the work area (which I was able to reattach and finish.) All other areas were left clean and we felt the cost was reasonable.

I have been using Michael Runk Plumbing and Heating for many years, they are my "go to" for all of my plumbing needs. They do great work at a fair price and have excellent customer service.
They are a plumbing company that charges by the hour and not this BS by the job that many other plumbing companies have adopted. They understand that if you treat the customer honestly that future profits will come.

Great service. Mike arrived early, did a fantastic job, explained as he went along. My ancient boiler pump had gone up and Mike replaced it without any issues.

The gentleman was prompt and professional. He explained everything he was doing and showed me what the problem was. He did not try to over sell me for something I didn’t need. It was a great experience.
