Well, I signed a contract in Feb 2025 for new gas furnace, AC, which included coordination with BGE for new gas line (we had oil furnace). Elmar gas sub-contractor was coordinated to show up in around September to review conditions and provide their additional costs. Never gave a price for the gas plumbing, stopped responding to emails in December. The BGE consultant was more responsive than Elmar. Absolute failure, and bizarre behavior from their branch manager who handled the process. Must be too busy and didn't need my money. I probably dodged a bullet anyways.

UPDATE: Installation of one more inside and outside unit. Once again, process ran smoothly, no disruption, technicians were ready and efficient. Will most certainly return for future additions and service, if/when needed! Highly recommend!

Instalation of two wall units and one outside unit. The entire process ran smoothly and I couldn't be happier with the service and my system. Brad, DaVic, and Juan were professional, efficient, and got the work done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Elmar Heating & Cooling and will return for any service I may need.

The gentlemen who diagnosed and repaired the heater were professional, respectful, and accurate. They showed up early and the problem was solved quickly.

Our hot water heater failed and was in need of replacement. My wife and I wanted to upgrade to a tankless hot water heater and after researching we decided that we wanted to go with Navien for its stainless steel internals and long warranties. Elmar is an official Navien distributor and was an easy choice to go with. They removed the old appliance and installed the new tankless system in very short order. Working with Brian was great and super easy, extremely happy with how the projected resulted.

Elmar installed my Mitsubishi mini-split heating and cooling system to replace an old ducted system in my historical rowhome in Fells Point. The control unit went on the roof and it allowed me to raise the ceilings and make my small home feel bigger. Good price and great service, Adam rocks. Five stars, thank you Elmar, recommended to all.

Cons: Scheduling of install did not go well, did not feel like my scenario mattered, not clean (foot prints), and unit has a noise after install

I have a mixed review of Elmar.

It’s cold and snowy and icy out. I get they are busy and it sucks working in these conditions, but there’s some things that I felt should have been handled better for the amount of money I’m paying.

My heat died after the ice/snow storm. Brian responded and came out the next day. He was extremely friendly and helpful working through some options. We scheduled the work and said it would take 2-3 days.

They did meet that 3 day mark exactly at 3 days but there were some frustrations.

Will the main POC of the install team was very friendly and easy to work with. There was one crew of two and they worked roughly four hours on day one. I was told they would return the next day with a crew of four, but only two arrived and worked another half day. They had to leave because they got an emergency call.

I called Brian to express my concerns after two days of half days. I feel like had we had a full crew of four on one 8 hour day, we probably would have had this whole system knocked out. I was also venting about my house being an “emergency” because I can’t live in it for a week+ when it’s 38 degrees, and I was told that part of that was because of my scheduling - had I had been available earlier in the week they could have accommodated me, which I did not appreciate. Brian didn’t offer anything other than it would be done by COB on the third day.

My last gripe was on the third day, the second crew did not wear boot covers inside my house and walked all over my house, carpet, and bathroom and now I have mess to deal with. I did tell one of them and he did start wearing them, but I am not sure the other did as I did not have a chance to find him and tell him.

My heat is working as of COB on the third day, but I do have some frustrations with how the install went. My downstairs unit is making a clicking sound that I am hoping goes away…if not, I’ll be calling them. I paid a ton of money for this system, so I expected a little better service.

David was very thorough and knowledgeable. Annual service maintenance was completed in a timely fashion. He is highly recommended

Excellent and professional! I had them install an ac a couple of years ago, and a new thermostat today. It’s been a smooth experience both times, and the staff has been great ! I will happily use them again for other hvac work !

This company and professionals were awsome. Came out rhe same day that I called to diagnose the issue with my water heater.

Brad (Sales) and the install team of DaVic Mann and his partner couldn't have done a better job IMO. This kind of straight-up customer focus is increasingly rare in the trades. I'm so happy to have found this company! Price was right and I will sleep comfortably now with a top-drawer Mitsubishi put in by a Diamond dealer.

Steven Zhang arrived on time, worked on diagnosing the issue with our HVAC system, advised us on the repair, and completed the task. He was pleasant and thorough. Also, Leah, the company receptionist was most courteous in responding to our need. Overall, very professional!

Josh did an outstanding job today! This was out first tuneup appointment with SuperTech. Our neighbor has used them for years and finally got us on board. He was very easy going and detected the problem and fixed it quickly.

My 20 year old AC finally decided to retire over the weekend. With the temperature hitting 100 we were in absolute panic mode. I made phone calls to several local HVAC contractors on Sunday and SuperTech was among the few that responded quickly. Mike showed up the next morning. He was very polite and professional, thoroughly inspected my house and answered all my questions. He presented the proposal to install a new system with several options. Although I am very surprised at the price tag, I decided to go with this contractor. Mike also installed temporary window units in my house before the new system can be installed. Two days later, Kyle and another technician showed up around 8 am to install the new system. Both were very friendly and professional. Kyle was very knowledgeable and patiently explained the steps to install the new system. He also answered all my questions during the process. It was a super hot day inside and out but these folks had the new system up and running by 2 pm. The whole process was smooth and trouble-free. I am glad to have chosen SuperTech as my HVAC contractor and appreciate their excellent services.

We only saw them when they arrived and again when they left. They were quiet and polite. We didn't see their work.

Efficient and effective services with easy to schedule appointments when you need them. All of the technicians have been very kind and helpful. Today we had Affonso come to our home due to a new / loud sound coming from our HVAC. He was able to diagnose and fix our problem, and he had great customer service!
