It looks like the information you entered when you make the appointment is not provided to the service tech. We had to pay for the visit even though nothing was done except telling us that the part is no longer available. I think the tech did not know how to repair the microwave oven combo

The technician was on time and replaced the pump in the dishwasher. had been here before and diagnosed that that was the problem. He got it replaced quickly, cleaned up behind himself. He was done in no time, and the dishwasher works just fine.

The technicians never show up for their scheduled appointments and cancel just minutes before. I've taken off work multiple times, and they’ve canceled and rescheduled 5 times over 5 weeks. My washer-dryer combo keeps leaking, and they don’t seem to know how to fix it. It feels like they’re delaying repairs to avoid replacing it before my warranty expires.

He was very polite, and apologetic when the LG part number couldn't be found and therefore, the dryer not fixed. He seemed very knowledgeable.

    UPDATE: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
DO NOT BUY A SEAR SERVICE CONTRACT, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU STRANDED!

SEARS has now FAILED TO SHOW UP up and/or rescheduled my appointment 5 TIMES. I am still waiting for them to install the part which I have had for a month. Their first visit for this repair was July 24, it is now September 10! We finally managed to get live representatives on the phone and they have NOT HELPED the situation at all!

Original review: I had an appointment a week ago to reinstall a rebuilt part in my wall oven/microwave, nobody showed up or communicated with me. I was not able to reach a live person on the phone, but scheduled a new appointment for today. This morning I got an automated email telling me my appointment has been rescheduled for next week. It will have been over a month since they took out the panel to have it rebuilt, and 3 weeks since I got the part back, but I have not had anyone come to complete the repair. Calling them connects to an automated line, with no apparent way to actually speak with anyone who cares.

O stars!!! Save yourself time and money and DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I’ve had 5 appointments to fix my ice maker and it’s still not working. I paid $600 and I can’t get a live person to help me with a refund. They use AI and you cannot speak to a real person for help. DON’T waste your time and money!

Cedric did a wonderful job. He was efficient, Knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He had the patience to deal with the rescheduling that was not of our making.
Samantha AI and I had serious problems.

Jason was on time. Friendly, personable and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He took time to also answer all the questions we had concerning the oven, cleaning, heating, as well as other appliance questions. Great tech!

My washing machine is currently operational; however, it took over a month for Sears to return and install the replacement part following the initial diagnostics. It has been difficult to contact customer service, as the only available option is an AI assistant that was unable to reschedule the appointment. The repair has now been completed, but in the future, I would prefer to engage a contractor who can complete the work more promptly. Thank you.

Absolutely worst service you will ever get to fix your appliance!! DO NOT USE this service! They will scam you! All calls are AI- there is absolutely no way to get a live agent. The first service call the guy did absolutely nothing when he came but told me I needed to order the most expensive part I could then no showed on the scheduled day to replace it then because everything is AI only for days the system wouldn't let me reschedule. Finally was able to reschedule and finally they came but this time they actually took the oven apart and put the piece guess what it wasn't even that part that the problem was! Now they needed to order 2 more parts and scheduled for a week out only to no show AGAIN!! And guess what- I can't reschddule again because even AI doesn't understand why they keep no showing!! A family of 6 and we have been out of our microwave and oven for over a month now!!!!

He is a very knowledgeable and well spoken technician. He quickly figured out what needed to be done to repair my appliance. Thank you for being on the job during the holiday season and working a long day to fit in my appointment. I am glad Sears has such great techs like him on the job!

0 starts if i could. This my second issue regarding tech Elio. He dispatched to my home on 12/23. Was nice and told me I needed a part. However closed out my ticket as canceled as if the appointment never happened. This caused significant delays and phone calls. Only to have a another dispatch schedule for today1.20.26. Tech lied and said i did not answer the phone or the door. Ive been home all day. Its incredibly hard to get reps on the phone or have a fruitful conversation with the chat agent. Agents aren't helpful and say bc he closed it out all i can do is reschedule!

I felt that the technician rushed through the job. He was here for five minutes and said everything was fine, although there is clearly water appearing. He said it my be coming from outside and furnace is in the basement. He did not show what was done. I feel my insurance and I just got ripped off. I paid a $100 deductible and my insurance paid much more.

I have a oil heater ignition coil failure that required removal of four screws and replacement of unit. The technician was totally incompetent and had no clue how to diagnose or repair the unit. He took my money and forged my signature stating I accepted the job as finished. What a great lawsuit. There is a reason Sears has gone bankrupt with this kind of service.

Excellent and professional service! Cedric arrived promptly, quickly assessed the problem, and presented me with four options. He repaired my freezer and better balanced it so it did not lean forward. Highly recommend!! Thank you! 🙏

I recently had an appointment regarding an issue with my Whirlpool double oven not working. A&E Factory Service sent a technician named Nasr S. Unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied with his attitude and overall demeanor. He was not personable and seemed dismissive throughout the visit.
I explained the error codes that had appeared on my oven. He performed a few temperature checks and connected a meter, then concluded that the oven was fine. The entire testing process lasted less than 10 minutes, which I felt was insufficient given the recurring issue.
After I mentioned the E2-F3 error codes, he looked them up on his phone and acknowledged that they could indicate a faulty temperature sensor or motherboard. Despite this, he told me to call the office if the errors appeared again and proceeded to charge the $129 diagnostic fee. What was confusing is that, although he stated the oven was fine, he also wrote up an estimate of over $600 for replacing the sensor and motherboard, noting that two technicians would be required for the job. This inconsistency was concerning—why provide an estimate if his testing found nothing wrong?
Additionally, he gave me an unsolicited lecture on how to use my double oven, which I found unnecessary and unhelpful.
When I speak with someone at A&E, I will request that Nasr S. not be assigned to any future service appointments at my home.
