Overall I'd say the service was fine. For a move out package I was surprised to still have a lot of soap scum on the shower doors (I had to scrub a lot of it off myself) and the floors looked clean but left our bare feet pretty dirty after walking around on it. It got the job done but I expected more.

My tenant left the apartment a mess, so I had Think Maids come in for a deep clean on 1 days notice. The job was complete and I'm happy with the results.

There are some pros to this place: their booking process online is well-designed and easy to use, they were available at last minute (booked the day before, less than 24 hours advance), and when it turned out there was a scheduling conflict, we received a quick, friendly call (after business hours, even) to adjust the team's schedule, which we agreed to since it was last minute.

But... the cons. As a few other people have mentioned, I ordered a deep cleaning and returned to a condo that was only as clean as a badly-done regular cleaning... not awful, but nothing I'd book again even if I'd just ordered a regular cleaning, especially since we paid for "up to 1500 sq ft" and our condo is only 900 sq ft. Should have been an easy assignment for the team, but they didn't do much. It certainly wasn't worth the extra money we paid for a deep cleaning. Since the booking experience was positive, I gave the benefit of the doubt and emailed that I had a complaint and got a quick response... unfortunately, the quickness of the response was the only real bright point in the interaction.

They requested that I send details/pictures of what I was dissatisfied about, so I did, pictures and descriptions of the following: Dust on numerous flat surfaces, shelves, and vents; floors vacuumed without actually lifting any debris (visible while standing, no need to kneel... bet they didn't empty the bag/container, just kept rolling after suction was gone); windows not cleaned at all (specifically ordered that in the website ordering options); soap scum and other evidence that cleaning was cursory, not deep; etc.

The responses to my complaints and documentation of just how poor a "deep cleaning" it was were not particularly reasonable or relevant. They didn't address the substance of the complaint (it simply wasn't a deep cleaning, at all) and said they would send someone to "touch up" the cleaning... but it had to be at a time convenient for them. I wasn't particularly interested in that, because the specific reason for the cleaning was pictures and an open house in order to sell our condo. More cleaning after the event we wanted the condo clean for doesn't help us. Additionally, we weren't able to accommodate their cleaning schedule, even if we wanted it recleaned.

I asked them to instead just refund the extra fee we paid for a deep cleaning + windows. I feel it's reasonable to only have to pay for what we received... I didn't ask for the entire cost to be refunded, since we did get a cleaning, even if it wasn't great. Their response was to offer a refund of 20% and offer money off a future cleaning... which is a pretty empty offer when I don't have confidence/interest in their services anymore.

TL;DR - good website, variable customer customer service, unreliable cleaning

I've had better results looking for good Groupons and using that, wouldn't recommend full price for these guys and certainly not if you have an important event/need for cleaning.

Thinkmaids not only did not come to a cleaning I had scheduled, but STILL CHARGED ME for me. Said they were going to refund me but have not received a refund and have ignored my requests via email and phone for a refund for 30+ days. They are a disgrace to customer service, I have NOT GOTTEN A REFUND for a cleaning that DID NOT HAPPEN. Absolutely unacceptable. Stay far away!!!! Much more reliable services in the area.

I was tried of dealing with a unreliable and uncommunicative cleaning company for my monthly service, and to my delight I stumbled upon Think Maids. Not only was the price reasonable, the management was responsive, the team cleaned my apartment really well AND I am able to manage my schedule online. What could be better? Think Maids has my monthly cleaning business from now on and I'm thrilled.

The cleaner sent to my house was very cordial and was even friendly to my cats. More importantly, he was meticulously thorough. He dusted everything, really scrubbed the bathrooms, as well as completely mopped the wood floors. I would recommend Think Maids to my friends without hesitation.

I was really disappointed by the quality of our “deep clean.” They sent a single person to do our one bedroom condo and it is clear that she wasn’t really interested. She brought very few cleaning supplies and no tools—she used our vacuum (which was fine, except that she didn’t empty the canister when she was done)—and spent well under 2 hours working. She left streaks on the mirrors and the stainless steel appliances, dirt on the living room rug, dust on the ceiling fan and the wood floors in the living room, cat barf on the kitchen floor (it was dry and vacuumed up easily), and she failed to wipe down the cabinets in the kitchen (the one service I specifically requested). She didn’t vacuum the sofa or chair in the living room, either, certainly something I consider part of a deep clean. To make things worse, no one from the company has responded to my concerns . I suggest you think hard before choosing thinkmaids.

I’ve used them a few times before but this time was awful. The recent cleaner was completely worthless. The first cleaner texted me to reschedule and it was inconvenient but I said okay. Then she canceled, allegedly sick but obviously had a conflict since she tried to push back my appointment.

They arranged another cleaner to come who barely did anything. No dusting, mopping, sink was still dirty. He liked stacked a few things in the storage room which I didn’t even expect to get cleaned which is why I blocked it off. There wasn’t even a clean smell like I’ve had from every other cleaner and from cleaning myself.

Then I ask for a partial refund and they say they want to send him out again. Like I’d let him in my apartment again.

I absolutely love the Think Maids cleaning team! I never thought I would be someone to hire a cleaning company but a friend bought me a deep cleaning with Think Maids. They worked so fast and did such an amazing job that I immediately became a regular customer. They've been cleaning my home for about 4 months now and I honestly don't know what I would do without them. Between our two kids and our careers, my wife and I don't have a lot of time to clean. They've done a terrific job on our home every time and have always been happy to help when we've had special requests. If you decide to give this company a try, you won't be sorry!

Think Maids is the ABSOLUTE BEST in the business! Excellent customer service! I love my cleaner, Eric- he is reliable, friendly, good with my cat and every time he comes to clean my place, I come home to that " just cleaned" wonderful clean smell! I love this service and I would gladly pay every month to keep my place in order.

ThinkMaids was a great experience for me! I was extremely stressed about getting my apartment cleaned because I never had time to clean it myself. I had never hired anyone before, and thinkmaids were extremely welcoming and friendly! They did such a good job in my apartment-especially because it is older so cleaning all the nooks and crannies must have been really hard. They were so professional and I am so thankful for them! Especially because they came during COVID-19 quarantine, I am so grateful for them! Would definitely use this service again!

Think Maids did a wonderful job on my house!! The cleaning team arrived right at 9am sharp (with a window of 9-10!) and made my home sparkle in three hours of the most amazing work I have ever seen! They were friendly, thorough (my baseboards are even sparkling, what???), and just very pleasant! I would recommend Think Maids highly, and look forward to seeing them again myself!

I hired Think Maids to clean my home before we returned from Thanksgiving. It was the first time, and there was extra dust from a kitchen renovation, so I paid extra to have a deep clean and also to have the windows cleaned. When we returned home, the day after they cleaned, there was still dust all over the counters, walls, windows, and furniture on the main floor. I contacted them to complain and they were very slow to schedule the same cleaner and redo the cleaning. It is the holidays, but they did not protectively keep us updated on efforts to find a time to come back. We finally got the second cleaning weeks later, and it was better, but there was still significant dust to the walls and windows. I'm still trying to get a refund of at least the extra services. We paid almost $400 and this is ridiculous.

I hired Think Maids to clean my large home and it was outstanding. They were courteous, polite, and VERY detailed oriented with their cleaning. It was easy to book and I LOVED seeing their cleaning checklist on their website ahead of time, so I knew exactly what I was getting. Thanks again, can't wait for them to come back!

Very disappointed. While the cleaner was nice and respectful, we are not happy with the service provided. It was very expensive and they did not make the beds, did not wipe down the cabinets in the kitchen, did not wipe down our coffee tables, did not move anything out of the way for vacuuming (only vacuumed the easy to reach places), did not dust thoroughly, and did not wipe down several surfaces. The house smelled overwhelmingly like lemon pine sol but I don’t understand why as it doesn’t seem like much cleaning was done. They did do a good job on the master bathroom and cleaning the kitchen range, but we are otherwise disappointed for having paid over $400. Will not be using this service again.

Their attention to detail is amazing - every time we get a cleaning from Think Maids it's like a whole new apartment. Best of all, they're very kind and flexible when scheduling a cleaning based on our availability. Highly recommend!

I am so pleased with Think Maids cleaning service! Kerrie and team have been incredibly flexible with my schedule over the past few months. The advantage of this company is that you get flexibility, consistency, follow-up, and an incredibly thorough clean -- no matter which team is cleaning my house (they do try to keep it consistent, though, which is also nice!). AND, it's all online. I booked my appointment with a clear and accurate estimate online and I get email and text reminders of upcoming appointment. This is so convenient. I highly recommend using Think Maids. I've probably had six different individuals or companies through the years, and they are BY FAR the best.

We were very impressed with our first experience . The house looked great - I was especially thrilled to see such a good job on all the flooring. The bathrooms were sparkling too. As a pregnant mom, it felt great knowing that the house was cleaned with eco friendly products and not harsh chemicals.

Somewhat overpriced relative to other companies in DC, based on my single experience with the company (might not be representative, and it was on short notice). For almost $300 a single person cleaned for 1.5 hrs - 2 hrs. In my experience most companies for my sized apt and at that price range will provide a two person team and clean for about the same amount of time (so roughly twice the value).

I have used Think Maids for their cleaning services about 5 times now. While each cleaning has not been absolutely perfect, their personnel has done a good job of making me feel like I'm coming to a clean house.

HOWEVER, recently I had quite possibly the worst cleaning experience ever. The cleaner came without a vacuum (each previous time the cleaners have had a vacuum), a swiffer, broom, and some other miscellaneous items. When I asked why he didn't have a vacuum he said "we don't need one if there is no carpet"...........I took out my own vacuum but he didn't use it.

I came back when the cleaning was done to find my apartment feeling like, well, it wasn't cleaned at all. There was lint and dirt under the bed, and it wasn't just a small area, it was a good half of the space. The same under the couch. There were SHOE MARKS all over the floor. (Who doesn't take their shoes off or bring shoe covers?!) There was also some kind of yellowish gel on the floor (see photo) that honestly looked like snot. I passed a quick swiffer in the living room area and it came out dirty (see photo). The bathtub had also not been cleaned. I basically ended up having to clean up after the cleaning service.

When I texted the person that coordinated with me, she was unhelpful and unwilling to give me a full refund and offered to send the same cleaner back out (????). They ended up giving me a 30% discount - as if that makes things better after having to CLEAN UP after the cleaners.

After my experience today with a poor service and poor customer service, I will not be using this service again.

From the moment the team at Sage Carpet Cleaning Services arrived they immediately took precautions to protect our home. Very conscious of not causing any damage to anything around them. They explained every step of the process thoroughly so we always knew what was going on. Truly professional and trustworthy. Highly recommend!
