I had an appointment for 10am. They called me at 10:02am. I called them back and texted at 10:05am stating I hadn’t heard a knock but I’m here and please call me again. They then proceeded to read all my messages and leave me on read till 10:24am.

If you want to have less than a 5 minute grace period for cleaning services, I think that’s unreasonable but fine. At least state that for clients upfront before you waste their time.

Francisca and her team are absolutely great! We've been using her for about ten months. She did a wonderful first deep clean and has since helped us keep the place clean. We have a three bedroom row house in eckington. And every four weeks her and a helper clean the whole house in about 4 hours. She is very detail oriented. I highly recommend her!

Francisca and her colleague did an absolutely fantastic job cleaning my apartment. I shopped around and it was definitely a fair price for what they did. It was also very personal, I would rather support a local independent entrepreneur then hire some big company. I will definitely continue to use her in the future.

They did a very good job on our apartment windows and screens for a reasonable price. Four-person team, pleasant and professional.

They did an excellent job! They were also fast and professional! I inspected each window and they corrected all areas to my satisfaction. I highly recommend!

These folks were fast, efficient, and courteous, but left large water marks on 3 of the 11 windows they cleaned. I’d try another service next time.

Window Washers has been cleaning our windows for over 20 years. They do a great job and the few times we've shopped around, their price has always been the best.

We had Window Washers Etc come to our house today. They were fantastic! They worked thoroughly and diligently. Our home hasn’t looked better since the day it was built.
Window Washers Etc is priced reasonably, especially for the quality of work they deliver.

Booked a time, provided a credit card number, received multiple confirmations... time slot came and went with zero contact, and no response to follow-up emails. funny that they charge you $35 for cancellations, but you're screwed if they decide to no show.

DO NOT GO HERE! All my clothes came back feeling a weird texture, they don't know how to iron pleats, horrible!

    2

Really overpriced. The price quoted for a leather jacket to be cleaned and a pair of jeans to be shortened was $80. Brutal.

Great job no complaints. Used them weekly while working in the are for a few months instead of lugging my dry cleaning home every week. Close to the hotels in the area.

Brought my white satin blouse here for dry-cleaning and got it back off-white/gray. The owner called me a liar when I came back to tell her and find a solution... don't go here.

I often find clothes to have creases and lines that shouldn’t be there, in addition to them frequently never arriving on time.

Terrible. The temperature is too hot on your suits and wears the fabric out. They will deny any wrongdoings and will lie. I was there an someone else was complaining on how they accidently left something in the pants came back ten minutes later and it was gone out the pockets and they claim they never had it. Not trustworthy

They systematically broke my shirt buttons

I gave 5 shirt to dry clean to them of very good quality. When I picked them up, 3 of them had at least 2 or 3 shirt buttons broken. I never had such a problem before with any of the dry cleaners I visited. This is unacceptable and I strongly discourage people, and in particular from the WB or the Fund to go there.

It was a cold and windy December day when I walked in. I had just ripped open the crotch of my suit pants. It was, undoubtedly a Personal Emergency. I explained to the friendly person behind the counter my situation - that I had ripped the crotch of my pants. “The pants I am wearing at this very moment.” She said, don’t worry, this happens more than you think,” as she calmly led me into a booth and closed the curtain behind me. I handed her my ripped pants from behind the curtain. I heard the sound of a sewing machine for a about a minute and then she said she was finished. She saved my ass. Or she saved other people from my ass. Whatever it was, I tried to tip her but she declined and only charged me a few dollars. This lady is an angel. I go back for dry cleaning and alterations often.

I have been going to this Dry Cleaners since my office moved into DC. I used to take mine and my husband's work wear to the dry cleaners closer to home, but with 66 traffic we could never seem to make it in time to pick up. The owner is delightful and good at her craft. My other complaint with the dry cleaners closer to our home, is that the clothes never smelled like they were cleaned at all. After the first time taking my load of clothes to VIP cleaners I noticed the difference in the smell and feel of the clothes. They do a great job with cleaning and pressing my husbands shirts. I even took my bejeweled cashmere cardigan here and was worried that they were not going to be careful with the delicate beading, but when I got the sweater back, I was worried for nothing. It was perfectly washed and handled. I don't know how many times I have had to take in my husbands suits for alterations, to get them tailored (taken in or taken out), and each time they have fit like they were made for him. This is my go-to dry cleaners, and I hope that they stay in business. It's hard to find a trusty place to take your clothes that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
