Wow. Wow. Wow. What a treat to find on a visit in the city. Never did I think so much could be packed into such a space! Any and everything hanging from the ceiling, the cutest little pots and planters and everything in between. I got some seeds, chunky mix and bamboo by the stick. The upstairs and outside hold plants galore, can’t wait to return

I won’t be back. I had a day off and decided to visit Ginko after seeing them advertised on TikTok. When I walked in, I was the only one in the shop. There was an older white guy with grey hair at the counter and he barely greeted me. It’s fine…I’m thinking maybe he’s shy. Idk ..so I go to look at the succulents over by the window and I greet the shop cat. A few moments later, an older white lady comes in and he loudly and proudly greets her, welcomes her in, asks if she needs help, and brushes past me having not given me the same energy. I immediately left. As a black woman, that experience is not something I want to have again and definitely not in DC. Please fix your customer service. Every customer should be treated the same.

My first impression of this place is that it's a garden where plants are available to be taken home. The outdoor space is absolutely brimming with happy plants of all sizes so much do that it spills out onto the sidewalk out front. The indoor space has two levels. The second level is accessible by stairs and has a very lovely balcony with more plants and outdoor furnishings.
I didn't notice an ADA option to ascend. It would likely be a tough store to navigate anyhow with such narrow aisles all around. Parking is available on the street. Read the signs because some spots are affected by the school nearby.
They had a great variety of planters from basic nursery plastic to ceramic and even brushed metal. As you can imagine the nice ones are pricey as are the larger plants. Furnishings and racks can also be purchased here. They even have terrarium components. Literally whatever you may need for basic indoor and outdoor gardening is under this roof. Go check it out! -
Delightful store with a wide variety of plants, both indoor and outdoor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed a bonsai tree for a gift and this place had what I needed. I will be back to add additional plant life to my home.

I love Ginkgos! We are so lucky to have them in the neighborhood. I picked out the most beautiful marigolds from them and even got to see their cat Kitty on my way out!

an amazing experience at Ginkgo Gardens today. Cole helped me choose several low maintenance plants and gave thoughtful tips that made the whole visit enjoyable. I ended up getting a Hoya Compacta Hindu Rope, a ZZ plant, a Philodendron Lemon Neon, a Bromeliad, a Crassula Jade, an annual, and a six inch Euphorbia Firestick cactus. Everything looked healthy and high quality.
The store was quiet this morning so I received very personalized attention, but even on past visits when it was busy, the staff has always been friendly, patient, and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their customers and the plants they sell.
Prices are higher than places like Home Depot or Lowes, but the quality is much better and well worth it. This is one of the best plant shops in DC and I will keep coming back. Highly recommend. -
Very awful to deal with did a job for them they contracted me out for a welding job
I did November 5th and they won’t pay me for it he has just blocked my number so I can’t call or text him or he won’t answer my emails
But yet they go to the company and charge them 5X more then the price I told them
Very dishonest people -
JJ Handyman provided excellent service. They were prompt, courteous, and produced what I needed. I’m very happy with their work and will be using them again.

Terry was very responsive to the job request and professional initially. He and his team were timely and diligent to complete work until one of the workers damaged/cracked the large 36×36 glass above the front door while trying to replace the door on July 28, 2020. JJ Handyman agreed to reimburse the expense up to $300 to replace the glass. It's been nearly a year and we haven't received reimbursement for this expense. This was an estate property and now we must start legal action to retrieve the monies. I am greatly disappointed with their mismanagement of the situation and would not recommend their services.

These guys do excellent work, very friendly as well. No doubt I will use them for all of my tree service needs.

I had a 102 foot Scarlet Oak Tree that was leaning over 45 degrees, trying to find someone to cut down the tree was a nightmare. All I wanted was half the tree cut down and leave it on the ground and I would take care of removing the rest of the tree. There was only a fence and a gazebo partially in the way; very simple job to be done.
I was given all kinds of excuses why it would cost up to $2,700.00 , some services didn't even call back or show up.
I called Milton's Tree Service and Milton himself came by later that day and gave me a great price and his guys came out a few days later with a 100 foot spider crane and completed the job within 2 hours, then placed all branches that where 9 to 14 inches wide along the side of the fence allowing for open space to walk around the yard which allowed me to have room to cut up the branches for my fireplace.
I would recommend Milton's Tree Service over any other for their affordable prices, quick service, professionalism, very friendly demeanor and they go above and beyond to get the job done correctly. -
My dryer smelled like burning before they came. They fixed the problem fast and now it smells fresh. This dryer vent cleaning really helped me.
-
I called Optimal Dryer Vent to try their same day vent cleaning. They managed to fit me in and came quickly, and the tech found a bunch of moisture and debris trapped way back in the vent that was causing the odor. He did a full dryer vent cleaning and sanitized the whole line. I was so relieved when someone noticed the clean and fresh smell of my towels..
-
I used Optimal Dryer Vent to check my dryer and the pipeline and I am so glad I did especially since dryer vents can be a fire risk if you don't keep up with them. The technician was great and cleared out all the lint/dirt buildup during the cleaning. It feels good knowing the house is safe and everything is running the way it should. If you need a reliable dryer vent service in Washington, these guys are excellent to work with!

I noticed almost no air coming from the exterior vent cap during a routine check and looked up what that meant before calling anyone. What I read about dryer vent cleaning for safety made it clear this was not something to sit on. I called Optimal Dryer Vent and explained what I had observed. The tech confirmed the vent was severely restricted and that the safety risk was real. He cleaned the full duct and showed me the airflow difference before and after. I appreciated that he was straightforward. That is exactly the kind of service I respond well to.

I really appreciated how they gave me a price upfront. There were no surprise fees when they finished the job. Optimal's tech was honest and worked very hard the whole time. My dryer does not get super hot anymore. It runs cool and efficient. This was a 5 star dryer vent cleaning experience.

One of the best experiences I've had with cleaning services. Booking was easy and they confirmed with me when the worker would be there. The worker showed up on time, inspected the vent and showed me the price. I was happy with the price and he got to work right away. He showed me the amount of lint that came out of the vent and also showed me some tips to help keep my lint trap clean. My laundry is now drying super fast. 5 stars all the way!
-
No more Red Line delays in my laundry room. After the dryer vent cleaning, my towels dry in one cycle.

As a government worker, I'm used to being on a schedule and undergoing screening. Optimal Dryer Vent Service was super professional and gave us an exact timeline for the dryer vent cleaning. They have a HEPA-filtered vacuum system so that nothing goes into your condo. If you're in a high-rise in Washington, these are the only folks you should let touch your ducts.

Was a bit hesitant to ask about pressure washing my car but it turned out to be a great idea as DEB was really professional and responsive. I informed them that my car had been sitting for 5 years and needed a deep exterior cleaning. They were more than happy to help!

I have two pets and hair tends to collect around the vents. Yellow Vent Cleaners handled the duct cleaning and the process was quick and easy. I am very happy with the results. The service was worth it.
