A technician was dispatched within an hour of my call. Jorge was an absolute professional and clearly skilled and knowledgeable. Jorge was also frank, thorough and easy to work with. He explained all our options so we could make sound decisions regarding the needed plumbing evaluation and repair. Spartan will be completing the job this week.

Matthew was an absolute PRO! My unit stopped working overnight, I sent an online service request and by 7:45 the next morning the call center had my appointment set for “within the hour”. I thought “yeah right, I know how this usually goes...” but too my pleasure the Spartan Tech Matthew arrived at my home at 8:22!

He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, show me what he was seeing, and explained the process of repair. He was able to offer advice without being pushy or up-selling. HIGHLY Recommended.

If I could give this company more than 5 stars I truly would. I had a emergency heating issue where my furnace stopped functioning and we were getting severe snowy weather. A previous company came out and failed to complete the job that my home warranty dispatched. As a result, I was frantic because we were still without heat. I scrambled to find a company on my own and found Spartan. I can't express enough how professional and understanding both Sharron and Matthew were to my extreme emergency. Sharron completely calmed my nerves down by assuring me I was in good hands and they will be able to take care of my heating issue. As a result Sharron dispatched Matthew who was already quite booked for the day but he was able to squeeze time in for me any way (I'm so grateful). When Matthew arrived he was such a joy to work with. He explained everything in detail he was doing to troubleshoot my problem and within a matter of minutes he found my issue and corrected it right away. Words can not express how grateful I am to Sharron and Matthew. Too often companies will hear from the customer when they are dissatisfied but it's not often companies hear about their employees who provided excellent customer service and being extremely knowledgeable about their work. Well I could not let Sharron and Matthew excellent customer service and knowledge go unnoticed. I will definitely recommend this company to friends and family and I plan to use them again if the need arises.

After a very hot night of no AC, Spartan was the fastest company to respond to my emergency service request. Joaquin came within one hour of my initial call and despite it being 7:30 on a Sunday and was incredibly friendly and warm. The issue was a minor one but rather than walking out after five minutes, Joaquin checked the whole system, explaining how it worked and some common issues to look out for and best practices to keep it working well. along the way. Incredibly affordable, too. Great company and great employee in Joaquin.

I cannot say enough good things about Spartan for their timeliness and quality of service, particularly Edgar.

I had called Spartan at 9a on a Saturday after my AC began blowing hot air the night before, and to my relief they were able to have the technician (Edgar) at my residence by 1230. Talk about timely- especially on a weekend in the middle of summer!

Edgar was clearly a seasoned expert and had diagnosed the issue within about 10minutes and resolved it within 20. He was knowledgeable, honest, engaging, and personable. My husky will forever be grateful.

I will definitely be recommending Spartan to anyone I know in DC who has AC issues- in fact I already have!

I needed my radiators flushed. They called when they were in route, as promised. Very professional. Matthew (who wore a mask) explained what he was doing and why. I strongly recommend them. Great pricing compared to others we called. Spartan gave us a flat price the other companies gave us a price to check the system and then they would give us a price. We will be using them again and referring them to friends. Thanks GREAT customer service.

Aug 25 2021, there is a reason I keep coming back to Spartan for my plumbing needs. Their people are very friendly and knowledgeable, for example today Kenneth showed me what was causing our shower to leak and explained what needed to be fixed in a great way.

Excellent experience! I researched quite a bit before deciding on Spartan to replace my Furnace/Heat pump system. The technician that came over (Gary) for the initial estimate was very professional and knowledgeable. The installation technician (Joaquin) was awesome. He patiently went over ever step of the installation and even found a fault in my thermostat wiring. Definitely recommending them to all my friends and family.

Spartan Plumbing, and their team of Matthew and Keith, were exceptional. Our heat went out overnight when it was 12 degrees. I called first thing in the morning and they showed up promptly at 830, temporarily fixed the issue by 930, and had a full replacement part installed by 1030. They were prompt, thorough, and had an innovative solution to our problem that also meant cost savings for us. We’re grateful for the work they did and will continue to work with Spartan.

Updated, as of Sept 2024: I have now had several incidents when spartan did not show up for scheduled appointments, didn’t contact me that they were unavailable, and kept pushing the work to later dates. If you have to be home for a service visit and rearrange your schedule, this is a huge problem. They also didn’t complete the work on a simple copper pipe replacement, something another company was able to do in about an hour.

Would still give Matthew and Keith 5 stars, but the company needs to do better in scheduling, communicating, and arming their team with materials so they dont have to do follow up visits (which, in my experience, they’re likely to cancel and leave you in the lurch).

My elderly mother who is very ill and not ambulatory due to chronic health issues had problems with her AC unit since Sunday. I have contacted a previous company that she used in the past who shall be nameless was overbooked until end of next week which surprised me. She could not afford to wait until next week because of her health issues. Bonnie and Joaquin were very professional and friendly. They diagnosed and fixed the problem right after the 4th of July holiday. Within an hour or two after the service was completed, our home is very comfortable again . We can both get a good night's sleep and I am able to work in my home office in comfort. Well the competitor that we use to call in a past for repairs has lost a loyal customer.
