Bay State Heating and Air fixed my humidity problem during the summer months in Maryland. They installed a whole home de-humidifier at an affordable price and I was able to get rid of my small mobile de-humidifier.

I reached out to Bay State Heating & Air 2 weeks ago.

I recently bought a 100+ year old home that had been renovated by previous owners and their General Contractor before we bought it. Since the home inspection, we knew that one of the two installed 'mini-split' heating/cooling systems in the house didn't work, though we could clearly see the systems were basically brand new (no one had lived in the home during or since the renovation until we bought the house).

I recently had an HVAC company look at the systems. They confirmed the systems looked new, but that there was no 'pressure' in the refrigerant line. The guy indicated this is typically due to a leak at one of the flared fittings, which are created when installing the system. He indicated that at his company, they provide a 2 year warranty on their work, so i should find out who originally installed, as they should stand behind their work and repair it.

The GC indicated that Bay State had done the installation, so i reached out to see if they back their work. The install happened in the last year or so.

Two weeks ago, I spoke with someone and explained the situation. He said he needed to look into the matter and get back to me. Several days passed, never heard anything.

I called back a week ago to follow up. The same gentleman answered and didn't have any better answer. He mumbled something about being out of warranty. I reiterated that the brand new units have never been used - no one has lived in the house until we moved in. He said they would come out to take a look at the system.

He said they couldn't come out for nearly a month. I indicated that it's been in the low 40's temperatures in the morning and asked if they could find a way to squeeze me in. He said he needed to look at the schedule and get back to me in a few minutes.

I never heard from him again.

I've built and run businesses for 25 years. It will cost me a few hundred additional dollars to repair the system that should be covered by warranty - that's essentially beside the point. This is not how you treat customers or build a reputation for excellence and integrity.

Amazing customer service. I reached out about our A/C being out on a 100 degree day and Bay state arrived that afternoon to fix the A/C. My family and I are so greatful. Highly recommend!

After getting blown off for the second day in a row by one of the big companies in Fredericksburg, I called Ray at Bay State Heating & Air and explained my uncomfortable predicament and that it was about to drag into a fourth day. Regardless of the fact that I wasn't informed until almost 4pm that the other company wasn't going to make it that day, and then calling them shortly after, Ray ensured me that he could have someone here within the hour. He came himself within 45 minutes.
He located the malfunction really quick, had the part on-hand and had me up and running almost within an hour of calling. And even though everything seemed fine at that point, he went over the rest of the system very thoroughly to ensure that the replaced part was the actual root cause and not caused by something else that was going or wearing out. He put in the extra time to make sure that my system was going to stay up and running efficiently for the rest of the season.
Punctual, honest, thorough and very, very reasonably priced!
They're now my go-to for all of my future furnace/AC routine maintenance and repairs!!!

Called Ray several times for multiple problems. Prompt service, fantastic skills and very courteous! These guys are the only company I use!

How many positive things can be said about Bay Heating & Air Company and the owner, Ray Goshen. I have worked with them for several years now. I have an annual renewable maintenance contract for heating and air conditioning. I always trust their work, because they give me good reasons to do so. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, informative, dependable, punctual, reasonably priced, and a joy to work with. Ray has always been amazing and trustworthy. I encourage everyone to reach out to him. You will not be disappointed.

Gary and Lucas came to clean my dryer vent and did an excellent job. I had it cleaned twice before and feel like it was never cleaned. The opening to outside was way too small to vent properly and was completely clogged. Gary removed old vent and replaced it with new bird proof vent. I am so thankful.

Olympic Aire recently installed a new HVAC heat pump system at my mother’s home, replacing her old oil furnace, and they did an absolutely amazing job. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and very respectful of the home.

They explained the process clearly, answered all of our questions, and made sure we understood how the new system works. The installation itself was done neatly and efficiently, with great attention to detail. My mother immediately noticed the difference in comfort and how much quieter and cleaner the system runs compared to the old oil furnace.

Gary and Jason from Olympic Aire came out to clean my dryer vent and also service my whole house humidifier. They were very professional and did good work. Gary was particularly helpful in educating me on the filters needed for the humidifier.

The service I received today was excellent. Mr. Rawlings was very professional and courteous, and once he was finished, he explained everything that was done.

John and Adrian inspected my furnace and hot water tank and precisely informed me of the malfunctions that I had been experiencing. They both were extremely professional knowledgeable and very kind. Olympic Aire came to my home to do a complete HVAC install and 75 gallon water heater. The technicians were very professional and knowledgeable. It was 98 degrees with a heat index 105 degrees. They worked quickly to get my A/C installed first to cool the house down, I was so thankful. They did a fantastic job, I highly recommend them. The warranty on the new unit is hands down the best around.
