Boiler was not working. They charged $99 to not fix my problem — well it started, but it was running very rough and he recommended not running it. Told me that they would call and schedule something the next day. I called them after not hearing from them.

Scheduled a 12 noon repair for today. They texted (not even called) at 11am to reschedule to tomorrow.

Of course it will be at least a $99 fee for the next visit too.

I want ownership, and if I have a slot, I want it honored or I want someone in charge to call and chat with me.

2 stars for getting boiler to start. -3 stars for not fixing the problem, and for rescheduling at the last minute without calling.

My boiler needed to be repaired and we were without heat in the winter. This company advised us to spend $20K on a new system, or offered to “try” and repair it for $4900. I instead got it serviced by a reputable local company who fixed it with a $225 part. We were told that several components were broken and needed to be replaced and this was simply not true. Heritage Home Service is a scam and I would never trust them in my home again.

Unfortunately I have to change my review. The water heater was installed correctly, BUT it took a month, 4 different guys to figure out a furnace issue. Our appointment was cancelled because of the cold weather. We have little kids and needed heat because it was cold.
The furnace leaked oil for weeks, they came in many times with different stories and ideas. Never the right one... We had to take time off of work many, many times and at the end of the day we were told we needed a new furnace that costs 20k. That was not true. We hired someone else who was knowledgeable and fixed it in 30 minutes. Extremely disappointed with your service! We were very patient and were taken advantage of.

I didn't have water coming into my house. I called and was told someone could come out in the next 90 minutes. Two gentlemen showed up and got to work. They were respectful and kind. They educated me on my system, provided some suggestions and were off to close out their evening. I would 100% use this company again. I felt heard and respected.

Drew is a very polite young man who explained every step of the repair process to me. He was efficient with the task at hand.
I had a clog in my bathroom plumbing and also needed a new tub spout. I appreciate the timely response from Heritage in scheduling me the day after my request for service. Thank you so much !

Sebastian and DJ came out to diagnose my furnace, and while there was some confusion about what was going on with it, they did EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING in their power to get my furnace back up and running and to find the root of the problem. Everything from the technicians, to the management team, to the dispatch team, every single aspect of this company has been top tier and I would recommend this company to every single person I come into contact with. I can’t thank everyone enough!

Run as fast as you can away from this company. One of their technicians came out to to at our boiler because one of the zones wasn't heating. It was the same zone that they replaced the circulator for the year before. The technician used a camera and reported there were cracks in the heat exchanger. He said the entire system was dangerous and had to be shut down and completely reply. He called his manager who agreed. Quote for new system $30k.
Called another company for a second opinion. They came the next day and thoroughly inspected the system. No crack in heat exchanger only some cement cimg away. He ran CO tests and said system was safe. He did say that some parts were close to failing and should be replaced. Cost roughly $5k. The system is currently running and is safe. This cpany also said that of the entire system had to be replaced it wouldn't be anywhere as high as $30k.
Heritage used to be pretty good but now they seem hell bent on making up problems and pushing high ticket sales.

Good service. I grabbed a black Friday deal of hvac maintenance for 8.99$ from Home Depot and heritage did a hvac maintenance service for that deal. It was really good service, answered all my questions in regards Richard and how it works and all and I recommend this maintenance service from them as they’re professional and good at what they do

I would highly recommend Heritage Home Services. They responded quickly to what I thought was a small plumbing issue but was far bigger than I realized but had suspected. They got me into their schedule super fast and Drew and Cory arrived at 8:30 am and worked tirelessly with barely a break until 7:30 pm. All issues are now fixed and it looks great. They were also professional, polite and pleasant the entire time. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was great as well and made sure all the details were covered.

We had a furnace replaced recently by Heritage. We had a great experience right from quoting (Britt) to installation by Julian. Julian was very professional and polite. He did a fantastic job of completing the work very well and also explained everything. My first experience with Heritage but won’t be the last!

Very pleased with the work. The gentleman explained everything in detail so that I would know exactly what I needed to be repaired and how he was going to do so. He also had ALL the supplies ready in his car and didn’t need to leave to a store to grab anything! Made everything look perfect once done!

Jason was very thorough and addressed all our concerns regarding our electrical issues we were experiencing. We now have a plan in place to upgrade the electrical needs after his whole house assessment. Jason was pleasant and respectful, and he explained things in a manner in which we could understand. We look forward to having him continue the work needed in our home.

I had a great experience with Heritage, and especially with Steve. He was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. Steve explained everything clearly, showed up on time, and did an excellent job from start to finish. The quality of his work was outstanding, and he made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. I highly recommend Heritage and will definitely be asking for Steve again in the future.

We are extremely impressed with the service we received. They were quick and efficient, getting us in next day for a new furnace on one of the coldest days of the year. Sam even secured us space heaters to ensure we remained warm while we awaited install. Sam and the entire install team were amazing and we will continue to be customers.

I had Jordan recently come do some work at my house. He was extremely respectful and knew what he was doing. He worked quickly and efficiently and I haven’t had any troubles since! I highly recommend him to anyone! He’s your guy when you need any plumbing help or advice!

Drew was fantastic!! He was prompt and very skillful with installing our new shower heads with a wand. He also explained how to use the shower heads and how to keep them clean. He is an asset to Heritage Plumbing!

Steve is hands-down the best plumber I’ve ever worked with. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, friendly, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He took the time to explain the issue, walked me through the solution, and made sure everything was done right—not rushed.

If you’re looking for a plumber who is honest, skilled, and truly cares about his work, Steve is your guy. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again and highly recommend him and Heritage to anyone.

Mr. Jason installed 2 ceiling fans for us, he did a very good jobs, and clean up the place after work done. Very nice.
Good job but price a little too high.

Stephen was extremely professional and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He clearly knows his trade and is very good at what he does as a plumber. He took the time to explain things, worked efficiently, and made the whole experience stress-free. His company is truly lucky to have him on their team— he’s a great representative of their work and values. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Jason was the electrician who came to our home today. He notified me once he was on his way over and arrived right when he estimated he would arrive. He is very knowledgeable, and even took the time to troubleshoot and diagnose another system that runs in conjunction with the blower and fan that he was installing. He didn’t want to leave until all systems were functioning properly. I highly recommend him and Heritage Home Services for all your electrical needs. And to top it all off, we both grew up in Lunenburg and know some of the same people, small world but there are many very nice people around. Great Job Jason, from a very satisfied customer

Sam was wonderful to work with! He arrived within 2 hours of my call for service. He explained everything clearly and provided several options for follow up work. He even offered to provide space heaters to use while I wait on my furnace repair. Brandon and Ben came the next day first thing in the morning and spent the day installing both furnace and AC units. They were great to work with. They explained everything that they were doing and consistently checked in with me during the process. They were very careful around my skittish cat :) They left my basement cleaner than when they arrived! The entire team has been so easy to work with. I highly recommend this company.
