This is my first year with Advanced Energy Concepts and I wish I had discovered them sooner. Every single person from the company that I’ve spoken to or worked with has been knowledgeable, helpful, professional and pleasant. In addition to the maintenance that they perform on my boiler as part of the service contract, I was in need of emergency repairs. They answered my call promptly, asked relevant questions and had a service person at the house in less than 2 hours. They perform the work efficiently and leave the work area clean.
I highly recommend them.

Where to begin… We scheduled a routine maintenance for our heating system shortly after purchasing our home, just to make sure everything was ready for the cold season. We were given a timeframe for the technician’s arrival, but that window came and went with no technician and no courtesy call. We had to call the company ourselves to find out he was running late.

After the maintenance was completed, our heat ran cold for the next two days. We ended up calling their emergency service twice. The second technician who came out informed us that the first technician had installed the wrong nozzle and that the correct part would need to be ordered. He made an adjustment that finally got warm air flowing again.

Over the next two weeks, we had to call the company multiple times just to get an update on the part. Each time, we were told they would call us when it arrived. Another week passed with no communication. Nearly a month after the original service, we called again and were casually told, “Oh yeah, the part came in,” and that someone would be sent out. The technician installed the correct nozzle and explained that because our system is European, it requires specific sizes—something the first technician failed to follow.

After that visit, we began hearing knocking noises in our vents—something that never happened before their maintenance.

I called again the Friday after Thanksgiving to report the noise and was told someone would come Monday between 9 and 11 AM. No one showed. No call from the office. I left a message and never received a callback. The technician eventually showed up at 4 PM unannounced—and it was the same technician who had installed the wrong nozzle in the first place.

The only reason I’m not giving a 1-star rating is because the second technician, George, was excellent and clearly knowledgeable. But the lack of communication, the rude receptionist, the mistakes, and the month-long delay to fix an issue caused by their own maintenance have completely eroded our trust. We now have to hire another company to address the new noise in our system. Their explanation was that it was “probably cardboard blown through the vents” or “just expansion from temperature changes,” but the noise didn’t exist until after their service.

Overall, this experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and costly. I cannot recommend this company based on what we went through.

Amazing work! Crew was very professional/friendly and worked hard each day to complete the project. Answered all questions and aesthetically got our minisplits in good spots for appearance and function.

I moved into a new house and needed a new HVAC system right away. Gervais was the first to respond and got the work. That was in June. They installed a brand new system. It has never worked for more than a few days and its now September and getting cold and Im worried about not having heat. They've been here so many times I can't keep count. They've replaced the same parts several times and each time seem very confident they have fixed it just for it to stop again. What's most frustrating is I have to proactively follow up with them and chase them down to get in their calendar and get the work done or it won't happen, and every time I call no one has the notes of all of the previous visits and I have to re-explain the whole history. This has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences and I do not recommend.

Shane arrived punctually and was professional and courteous throughout the appointment. His servicing and knowledge of our system was first class. He provided pictures to support his diagnosis and explained each recommendation with clarity respecting my questions with patience and understanding. We have tried all the major competitors in the area over the years but Gervais have clearly listened and trained their technicians to the highest standards. Thank you.

Like they say, call today, service today. One of the best examples of service provision I have experienced in my 75 years. Dylan was very professional, kept us informed as to his arrival time which was about an hour after I had been contacted by the person answering the phone for the company. He did a quick and thorough job explaining to us the process as he went along. It was a bathroom related issue and the first time I think I have had such a positive experience from a service provider. The price was reasonable as well. Great job Dylan.

Dylan was amazing and professional. I will admit that I was worried when I received a pic of him, he needs to update his pic lol. He looked so young and Inexperienced. What a surprise! So cordial and knowledgeable. He was thorough, explained everything, and hid diagnostics were on key.

Rob was fantastic. He went above and beyond to answer my questions and give me relevant and helpful information. He was highly qualified and efficient. Ron was friendly and introduced himself kindly and politely. We will definitely use Gervais (and Rob) again.

Amazing job by Gervais from the sales aspect all the way through the installation. Everyone was professional and respectful and would highly Gervais’s services!! Shane, Claudio, Shane and Cam were top notch!!!

I was very pleased with the service I received from Eric. He was knowledgeable, candid and did a great job servicing our 20 years old system. Instead of immediately recommending we purchase a new system, as another company did, he identified some very simple things that could be done to extend the life of our current system. I will continue to use Gervais and recommend them highly!

Rob O. Was great! He explained everything he was going to do and why before doing anything. He was able to find the issue quickly and fixed it. He was very thorough. He super very nice and kind. You never know what type of person will show up to your house when you have a plumbing issue, but Rob was great!!!! I couldn't thank him enough!

Rob was very much an expert plumber for us! He got right to our major issue with our screaming toilet, gave us some options as to what we could do, from replacing a part in the tank to replacing our older toilet, worked out the quotes on the spot, and advised us on many things. We chose to replace the part for now and Rob and the second plumber whose name I’m sorry I forgot, were very efficient. Rob tested out his work afterwards to make sure the sound issue was resolved. He is very personable and it was an absolute pleasure to have him do the plumbing job he did for us today. I recommend Rob and his co-plumber very highly. Thank you!

I was worried when I heard loud banging noises coming from my HVAC condenser in the middle of a snow/sleet/rain storm. Dana arrived the next day to help. He was pleasant and explained what might have happened. He checked things out, and thankfully all was well. And I saved $50 off of the dispatch fee with a coupon!

AC broke right when the heatwave started. Great team came as promised and in less than 2 days the brand spanking new AC was up and running. The guys worked really hard in 100 degrees. Hats off to their hard work.

Robert was very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I understood his diagnostic process and all possible solutions to my problem. He helped me make both short term and long term plans for my house and understand all my best options. Friendly and professional service, would definitely recommend.

I searched for a provider to install a replacement gas furnace, received several quotes. I really did my due-diligence, looking closely at the products, pricing, warranty and the all-important customer reviews. We grew wary of firms trying to up-sell, offering to do much more than what was needed. One even sat at my dining table insisting that we commit immediately in order to get a $3000 price reduction.

Gervais stood out as providing outstanding quality and value, quoted exactly what I asked for and wasn't pushy or deceitful. I gave them the go-ahead, and we are not disappointed! The workmanship is excellent, the product they provided is well suited to our home, and they were extremely responsive when a minor (but important) problem arose -- a condensate hose had become disconnected.

This is a well run firm, one that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

July 2024 update -- Yet another great job by Gervais -- on time, well done and the right price. Our "old" water heater decided to leak, spraying water onto the floor. This happened just as we were leaving for a week-long trip. Luckily I found it in time to shut off the water source, preventing further damage. During our week away, our daughter worked with Gervais to install a brand new heater, so when we arrived home all we had to deal with was a little bit of soaked carpet.

The job was professionally done, quickly and at a price we could afford. This is NOT our first time with Gervais; about a year ago they replaced our furnace. Both jobs were of outstanding quality, and were quite easy (for us!).

I enthusiastically recommend Gervais, we will certainly be back with them should the need arise.

Eric was great and helped get us up and running. Office team was responsive, flexible, pleasant and followed up. Would call Gervais again in a heartbeat.

Eric is a true professional at his craft. He has an engineer mindset, went above and beyond to explain the issue step by step, what each part is, how everything works and things that would naturally help my situation in the long run.most would just throw a bill at you and leave but Eric restored my hopes that there is people out here that care about quality over quantity Eric is a GEM at gervais!
