A Mr. Appliance of Salem repairman came to my house to diagnose the issue with my Thermador gas range. The replacement parts he wanted to order were marked up nearly 100%. I cancelled the order through Mr. Appliance and purchased the parts myself directly from Thermador. They are completely guaranteed, and the price is half of what I paid Mr. Appliance. I am owed over $400 by Mr. Appliance of Salem, and they won’t answer me. I’ve tried repeatedly, more than ten times, to speak to a real person in Beverly. But the call center is offshore and no one will call me back. It’s a huge hassle and a waste of my time to pursue the money I’m owed. Do yourself a favor and find a local repair person who is NOT a part of a franchise with offshore customer service.

The first visit went well. The technician was professional, prompt and efficient. We learned that a part needed to be ordered which wound up taking over a month to come in. A week later, they scheduled the return visit. The technician arrived 2 hours before the scheduled time without notice. He replaced the part but did not close up the unit before pushing it back into the cabinet case. It had no back panel or front vent panel. Upon pushing it back in, he dislodged the drain hose to our dishwasher. This resulted in flooding under the sink which then flooded through the ceiling of the basement and into my husband’s office and on to his desk. When I saw water flooding out from under the doors of the cabinet, I tried to reconnect the hose but it was caught in the back of the unit. I called the office at 3:20 and explained that we needed to have the technician return right away. They said they’d call the manager. I called 30 minutes later after not hearing from them. The manager was not responding they said. Another 30 minutes went by with no word. At this point I realized they were not planning on calling us back. They had already charged our card and left us with an unfinished job and some serious damage.

This was our second time having Mr. Appliance here. Both times they were able to resolve our dishwasher issues in the same visit. Both times they had the extra parts that were needed on hand in the van. Very happy, and will use them again in the future if needed!

Val replaced the ignition module in our stove. He was just as professional, pleasant, and sociable as he was when he came before to assess the problem. Even though we told him not to bother, he insisted on removing his shoes before moving through the house. Very thoughtful. The repair was quick, uneventful, and everything works perfectly. I will recommend you, and him anytime anyone asks. Thank You for such great service. :-)

I am happy to share I had a GREAT experience with Beverly Electricians. I hired Artur for what I thought would be a small residential job that turned into quite a bit of problem solving . Artur was professional, reliable, respectful, and, most importantly, HONEST. His fee is very reasonable, and unlike other people I have hired, I didn't feel taken advantage of. I hope I don't need any electrical work any time soon, but if I do, I'm definitely calling Artur!

Gave a call to have our electric panel serviced because of a mystery circuit that had gone out. Artur was able to make it over between appointments the same day and was able to locate the circuit in our old home, fix, and properly adjust.

It was three days before Christmas 2024 and our panel went out behind the fridge after a plug in exploded and the remaining plastic prong melted in the outlet. With a fridge filled with food prepped for the holiday at risk of going bad, Artur came over at a moment’s notice and was able to reset panel, restoring the fridge’s power. He was so kind, efficient, and helpful! If you’re looking for a sign to call Beverly Electricians, this is it! Will absolutely be calling again!!
