Excellent service. Very easy to get a quick appointment unlike some other appliance repair companies I have used. Very good communication from the office throughout the process. Will definitely use again

Technician did his job:
repaired washer. Unfortunately front office does not know how to communicate with the customer (they need to be trained better). I had to call them that technician was late on 2hr appointment window. Did not get a new confirmation time/date tell I had to called again. As mentioned, front office needs to communicate to customer better than leaving us hanging and hoping! -
Mr. Appliance came out promptly to repair a stove burner. Although they were the most expensive option, I chose them because they had the earliest availability. The repairman assessed that the burner needed a part replaced and provided a quote. I asked for some time to consider it. A few hours later, I called the company to order the part and schedule the repair. They confirmed the order and said they would contact me once the part arrived to set up the appointment.
A week passed with no update, so I called to follow up. It turned out they had never ordered the part. Despite several requests, they only admitted their mistake after some back and forth. However, they refused to offer a discount or refund the costly initial service fee, even though their delay would extend the repair timeline. Ultimately, we switched to Adesso, who was more reasonably priced and knowledgeable. -
Mr. Appliance is amazing!! Our condo association was having an issue with our dryer that arose the other evening. Giuseppe came out the next morning and not only fixed that dryer, but took preventative measures on the second dryer so that the same thing doesn’t happen again with that one. He was thorough and helpful in explaining what was wrong, and even provided suggestions for future maintenance to prevent larger issues in the future. Thank you Mr. Appliance for making a stressful situation stress-free!

The service man, Valary was the most helpful refrigerator technician I have ever had in my 50 years of calling for appliance services. He came to do the filters in the rear and inspected all the interior parts while on premises and figured out why the freezer's ice maker was broken .
Unexpected finding , but very helpful going into Summer. I hope this man gets the accolades in -house that he deserves as he represented your company " best in the biz!"

OK, when our usual repair service was too booked up to fit us in, I started looking for an alternative. First place I tried didn't get back to me. But Mr. Appliance answered my call and booked me for the very next day. They texted me when my man Giuseppe was on his way, and he arrived right on time. He was fantastic - very professional and knowledgeable, but really friendly and personable. He diagnosed and solved our problem immediately. I felt that this is a service company I can trust and they'll be my first call from now on.

I called because of a loud banging when running my dryer. I have a one piece waher/dryer combo. The tech was prepared, thorough and professional. He worked efficiently and was careful to check the noise (which was the issue) and the heat, and that the washer also still worked.

I had an issue with the door of our dishwasher and the repairman was just great! First of all, he arrived on time and politely put on shoe covers because it had been raining! We thought that the issue was with the spring on the door and he said that he could reach out to the manufacturer to see if it could be replaced (the door would not lay flat when opened). Instead, he took the time to investigate further and saw that the door was pinching the water line. Sure enough, once he cleared that up, the door opened properly! If he had not been persistent and taken the time to find that, we would have eventually had a much worse problem on our hands! Thank you so much!!

Beware of Predatory Practices – Avoid Mr. Appliance of Salem
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Mr. Appliance has been nothing short of infuriating—full of misdiagnoses, inflated repair costs, and a refusal to take responsibility for their work.
Our washing machine, less than two years old but just out of warranty, started leaking water. As someone with no technical expertise, I described the issue as best I could. Mr. Appliance charged a $150 “diagnostic fee” for what turned out to be less than 15 minutes of work, determining that the only issue was a faulty intake valve. The repair would cost nearly $500—a steep price, but still cheaper than replacing the machine.
They replaced the part, said everything was working fine, and left. But the moment we turned on the washer, it started making an ear-splitting grinding noise—something that had never happened before. When we called them back, they sent someone to inspect the issue, only to claim that it was completely unrelated to their work, completely unrelated to my initial complaint, and therefore, a completely separate repair requiring more money out of pocket. Their excuse? Because I hadn’t complained about a grinding drum initially (because it wasn’t happening then), they didn’t bother to check past the intake valve during their so-called “diagnostic” visit.
After pushing back, their best offer was to rip out the part they had installed and issue a partial refund—keeping the $150 I paid for their flawed diagnosis. In other words, they take zero accountability for their work, leave me with a still-broken washer, and expect me to pay for the privilege of their incompetence.
Their diagnostic charge is nothing more than a predatory business practice designed to lock customers into inflated repair costs while absolving themselves of any responsibility. I deeply regret trusting them with my appliance repair, and I strongly advise others to stay far away unless you enjoy being overcharged and left with more problems than you started with.
UPDATE/RESPONSE: The ear-splitting grinding noise began immediately after their repair, not "later" as they implied. We ran a test cycle the moment their tech left, and for the first time ever, the washer made this unbearable sound. When we called them back, they refused to acknowledge any connection, instead claiming it was a separate issue that somehow coincidentally appeared right after their work.
Their $150 diagnostic fee failed to catch underlying problems, their repair coincided with a major new issue, and their response was to wipe their hands of it while offering a partial refund only if they removed the part they installed. This is exactly why I left the review—to warn others about their incomplete diagnostics, inflated repair costs, and zero accountability. Avoid at all costs. -
My technician Valerie was SO impressive and explained everything!

Salem appliance was really easy to work with. They were able to schedule an appointment quickly which I was so appreciative of. The technician (Miri) was knowledgeable, fixed my issue quickly, left the area neat and clean and was respectful. I was so pleased overall would definitely use them again.

I was very impressed and pleased with the professionalism, promptness and knowledge of Giuseppe, the technician from Mr. Appliance of Salem. Our month and half old Bosch dishwasher detected a leak and went into a continuous mode of pumping the water from the base of dishwasher. Turns out it was a defective water valve that wasn’t shutting which caused the overflow into the collection tray beneath the dishwasher. I called Mr. Appliance on a Monday afternoon. They were able to send the technician the next day who promptly diagnosed the issue. They had the replacement part on another van in the area and he was kind enough to come back on Tuesday late afternoon to finish the job and ran another diagnostic to make sure nothing else was wrong. Given that it was a defective part, the repair was covered by the 1-year warranty on the dishwasher.
I would highly recommend Mr. Appliance of Salem, and if you can, ask for Giuseppe. He was a pleasure to deal with, knew his stuff, and was extremely professional. -
Finding an unusual problem with my Subzero refrigerator, I instinctively, contacted their Customer Support group who recommended an authorized Serviceman in my area. After several phone calls, texts, weeks of waiting and broken promises to show up, I called Mr. Appliance. I was put on their schedule within minutes of my call, and their Serviceman left our home around 7:30 the next evening with the problem we hoped would be resolved.
For the entire time in our home, we witnessed a real professional at work. He was thoughtful, thorough, and kept us informed as he analyzed the problem and carefully removed shelves and drawers, inspected seals and lay on the floor examining the bottom where he discovered and fixed the problem.
In my opinion, a company that communicates well, says what they will do, and does it courteously, in a timely and affordable way is the standard of a Gold, Five Star Company.o -
I have had two appliances repaired by this company in the past 5 or so years and have been very satisfied both times. It was easy to make an appointment, the technicians were experienced and my issues were resolved all at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised that the service request that I made could be scheduled within a day or two. I have found that to be unusual.
The scheduling time window via text the day before was helpful and the technician honored that 2-hr window.
The technician was patient, well informed, and very professionally mannered. Thankfully, my dryer needed no real repair and a thorough diagnostic and error codes check validated that no replacement parts or replacement of the appliance were recommended or needed. The issue was resolved and I had an action plan if the minor electrical issue re-occurred and confidence that I could correct myself. Hard to ask for anything better.
I also think the visit charge rolled into parts and labor and not a standalone charge is a smart and equitable business strategy. Thanks Mr. Appliance for a successful first experience and I know who to contact with any issues int he future. -
Multiple days to get an appointment, multiple days to order parts, multiple days to schedule repair at a $418.62 price tag. Still waiting for the final repair appointment. Just skip Mr. Appliance and order a new appliance.

Technician was terrific. He was friendly and knowledgeable! Recommended very highly!

Polite, diagnosed problem, ordered the part, replaced the compressor fan. Disappointed in my 2.5 year old LG refrigerator.

Mr. appliance always has good staff, but this time Joe exceeded my high expectations. It started because the assigned tech was caught up in another job. Joe volunteered to take on my problem, a broken washing machine, late on a Friday afternoon.
He was quick to find the problem quick to find a possible solution in quick to notice that the code on the sensor didn’t match what he had. He called back to home camp and got the proper sensor ordered and got his paperwork done, my signature and deposit collected All the time, smiling and being very kind to my anxiousness. I asked him if Mr. appliance has staff that deals with smoke detector replacement Because I have replaced most of my detectors But I had one that was in a difficult position for an old guy of 82 with bad balance and shaky hands to deal with. He told me that they don’t do that as a business, but if I needed to help, he would be be willing to do it. And. he did it very quickly on a Friday afternoon very competently and was able to get my anxiety down completely. He wouldn’t take money, but I forced it into his pocket. As I said at the beginning, Mr. appliance has good staff. This one is super. Thank you very much Joe and thank you Mr. appliance for having such a high quality Operation.
