They tried to con me with special one day take it or leave offer from the owner. It was a con as I found out after getting 2 local expert opinion nothing was needed. They said rafters were rotted, needed a new roof, the red cedar shingles siding were no good, it was all a lie. I wouldn’t trust these con artist to wash my windows.

Always read the bad reviews, avoid the pressure sales talk, and get several offers. Do not sign or pay wait, think it over couple of days you will save money.

We had an excellent experience with the entire team at capital construction. From our initial phone contact to our meeting with Barry the estimator on the project, and then the work that was completed by Ryan and his team was unbelievable. We are so happy that we contacted Capital construction for our siding and deck. When I gathered my estimates, they were a little bit more as far as money but the value that we got was worth every penny. Thanks again to the entire team we will be contacting them shortly to help us with our Bathrooms.

I inquired about my project on their website. Booked a time for someone to come quote the work. My husband scheduled to take the day off to be home for the quote. The day before they called me and said we both had to be home for someone to come give us a quote- so they “don’t have to come back to answer additional questions”. I told him my husband is a GC and that I don’t need to be home- my husband can easily handle the questions when being quoted. They said they won’t come give us a quote unless we’re both home. Nobody said this was their policy until the day before the appointment. It’s also a terrible policy- we both have to take off to simply be quote a project. I’ve never ran into this with a company and would never recommend going with a company with this policy.

Austin was very informative about the company and product. He answered all of my questions and he was able to secure a fair price for the roofing job. I now await the installation and I am hopeful that this job will be completed in a timely manner with professional workmanship.

I hired Capital Construction to replace my roof, and couldn't be happier with them and with their work. Steve came out first to discuss the project and was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I never felt pressured and he answered all of my questions...and, they gave me a very good price. Once things were settled, Chris came out to go over the process. He was also very professional and clearly explained everything to me. The project went extremely smoothly and quickly, and the crew were all super nice. The folks in the office were always very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about the entire experience....I will definitely use them again. We had our roofs redone and our home resided. The team worked hard and efficiently. They cleaned up at the end of each day. Wally and his brother, Eddy were exceptional. I highly recommend Capital Construction. We will have them redo our deck next. Jay Avagnianos was job manager and kept us in the loop and checked in on the project frequently. We just had an estimate meeting with Cameron and it was so helpful. He asked us a bunch of questions to narrow down exactly what we needed, got us thinking about our options, and explained the company process really well. It was nice to be able to pick the doors and features with their program and get a nice visual of what they would look like. Overall a great, professional experience!

I met with Josh and Anthony the other day to go over all my options with vinyl siding. Amazing team. They explained it in depth and had many different choice. Today I met with just Josh. Very professional and loved his personality and knowledge on the products. This company came in lower than previous quotes. Looking forward to working with Capital Construction in the future.

Hired Capital Construction to replace a 24 year old roof. From the first meeting with Shawn their Project Consultant to the final walk through with James the Project Manager, everyone at Capital was highly professional. taking the time to explain every aspect of the re-roofing job. The quote was in line with my expectations and they did not try to sell me things I did not need. On the day of the job, the crew showed up early, taking care to protect the exterior of the house while the old roof material was being removed. During the installation, I had a couple areas of concern I brought to the attention of Louise and they were quickly addressed and resolved to my satisfaction. When the job was complete, the area around the house was completely cleaned of all debris. I would definitely recommend Capital Construction.

UPDATE: I am sorry I wrote this review, should have waited a while. Since the roof was replaced Capital Construction has been very difficult to deal with. First it took more than 6 month to receive the warranty documentation. I have been trying for well over 3 month to get Capital Construction to address two issues with the new roof. All I get is excuses "oh, I didn't see your email" (Karla) or "I thought Jude was going to contact you" (Danny, Project Manager). In the past week I was told they would be on site 3 days and each day they were a no-show. I would stay away from this company.

Previous review: Capital Construction did a great job painting our house. It was great working with Jim Sakkos, who was very responsive and explained everything to us. The work was done fast as well. We look forward to working with them again for projects.

Current point of view: The job was done fast, but currently, a few issues have to be addressed. The painting job was supposed to address the rust, which James sold me on, but we are still seeing rust. I'm in contact with the company, and they say they will address them, we'll see if they successfully fix the issue. Great salesman therefore expect everything associated with being good at selling. The sale rep doesn't pick up anymore, it maybe due to the fact that he didn't deliver on connecting us with a flooring person, but the project manager is still responsive and has made plans to come fix the issue.

I asked for a roof replacement quote which capital were able to provide extremely quickly. I am confident that they would do a great job replacing the roof, work within my timescale, and be available for any follow-up should that be needed. Being the first quote I did not feel I could go forward at this time. Capital may be the company I choose, but it need additional quotes for comparison.

Very pleased with Capital Construction. While not the cheapest around, the roof is too critical to skimp on. Barry, our salesperson, spent two hours with us discussing every detail, measuring the roof carefully, checking in the attic for what he could see. The project itself went smoothly; Jamie, the project manager, spent a lot of time on site ensuring that the work was progressing smoothly. When I noticed at the end that our gutter guards had been removed, he immediately took care of it, and as best as I can determine the replacement guards are better than the original ones.

I would definitely engage Capital Construction again for any future projects that we may need done.

After discovering my roof was leaking, I contacted several roofing companies to assess the damage. Capital Construction made the best impression with their kindness and professionalism. They took great pride in their work, installed a beautiful new roof, and did not leave any dust or debris behind. I highly recommend Capital Construction!

I had to have my roof replaced in order to have solar system installed. After interviewing few companies I choose Capital Construction and this choice of mine was on of the best I have made. The whole experience with the company, from the first call I made to talk with them about my project until the completion of the project was outstanding.

Bryan was awesome, took us through all the details and was very flexible with our needs. We originally had them for siding, but we moved to looking at a replacement roof, as that was a higher priority. He took us through all our options and clearly laid out the recommendations.

Austin Harrison yielded a great experience during his visit today for a roof replacement. He was very thorough in explaining the materials and logistics about installation answering any questions I had. I am very convinced that the quality, price and cost value is acceptable. Did not feel rushed and he balanced sales and personal touch very well. Good guy!

Reached out for a siding project. Specifically wrote to email me so that I could send the spec sheet over of exactly what they needed for insurance requirements etc. They continually called me and said well we don’t have access to Email so why don’t we go over it over the phone. Who doesn’t have email? So bizarre.

The folks at Capital were excellent. From John and Tess at our first consult, to Joe onsite and Cynthia in the office, everyone was professional, courteous, and responsive to our questions and clear in their explanations. The team they brought in to do our roof was exceptional – getting our 3200 sq ft roof removed and replaced in just two days. They were up and running from first light to sunset and knocked it out in no time. Cleanup was meticulous and they left the work area and around the house spotless. I’m happy to recommend them, and we plan to use them in the future.

Capital Construction did our new construction roofing, and you can see from the photos how incredibly it turned out. The copper detailing is exquisite. As you can tell from the snow, these guys were out there in the bitter temps of February bending metal and installing. Bill, Brad, and Sean have earned our gratitude. We recommend the whole team without reservation.

I am extremely pleased with the work that Capital Construction did at my house. I needed to have all exterior siding and trim replaced. It’s a complicated job and everyone at Capital was attentive and responsive to my needs and goals. If you are considering siding like Hardie Board, Capital Construction is one of the best and most reputable Hardie installers around. Capital also completely transformed my front and back porches, making them look brand new and much more inviting. The before and after pictures of my house speak for themselves.

Capital did an outstanding job on my new siding! The home looks brand new and I get lots of compliments on the color. They came out two weeks earlier than scheduled and got it done in a week. Very professional and called me everyday to make sure everything was going correctly. The trim around the windows and doors looks great! I will definitely use Capital Construction in the future!
