Our A/C went out during the recent heatwave. Fire & Ice responded promptly to our call, coming out the same day. They diagnosed the problem quickly and were able to fix it right then. Arthur was very pleasant and easy to work with and the cost was reasonable. Would highly recommend!

I had no heat when I got home on Monday at 2pm. I looked in the Yellow Pages called Arthur at 2:30pm & he told me John could be at my house by 4:30pm to diagnose the problem, he was very courteous and made sure I understood the hourly rate to diagnose the problem. John showed up on time, personable and was able to diagnose the problem and explained every step of the process as gave us options. Unfortunately, my control panel was blown and needed to be replaced. He could order and be back the next day to install. John showed up today to install my control panel and change out my thermostat. We have heat!
I cant thank Fire & Ice enough for their fast response, excellent explanation of what happened with the control panel and their time and effort well after 5pm - 2 nights in a row!
I would highly recommend Fire & Ice HVAC, LLC. They are prompt, courteous reasonably priced and do great work.
They will be back soon to do more work in my home for my AC unit!!

words cannot express how grateful I am to HVAC Fire & Ice. My central air conditioning broke. Completely! nothing was working. it was totally dead. My condo is one of 10 and the air-conditioning unit was located on the roof. I called (and paid for) numerous places for quotes. they all encouraged me to replace the unit which was nearing 15 years. There was no way I could afford the $17k-$20k elaborate estimates, which included a large crane and roof repair to disassemble the old unit. Fire & Ice warned me, they may not be able to fix it, but said they would try for the total cost of $2,800. The parts were on back order by the supplier, so I expected a three month delay. To all of our surprise, the parts arrived early, and the entire unit was fixed Quickly and affordably. I will definitely be calling them every year for annual maintenance! i’m so grateful they came up with an alternative solution to a new unit. I was dreading living in a third floor walk up/attic with another summer heat wave like last year. most impressive is how responsive they were, as well as how quickly and throughly they did the work. very friendly. Family owned. Highly highly highly recommend.

Fire and Ice has been to our home twice. Both times he replaced the failing parts, kept the labor hrs. very low and got our central air cranking again. Rather than sell us a new system before we need one Arthur addressed and repaired the issues at hand. He also was very responsive -- we were fortunate that he was able to come same-day (recognizing that's not always possible) in the middle of the hottest part of the summer. Fire + Ice is also a pleasant company to deal with. I give them a strong A-grade, thumbs up.

Artie and Jon are responsive, professional, and down to earth. We have an old central AC unit that is nearing the end of its expected life, so we've had them come out a few times in the last few years. Not only are they reponsive and prompt and reasonable, they always are able to explain things in common sense terms. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

We reached out to Fire & Ice HVAC, LLC for installation of a mini split air conditioning system after reading their terrific reviews. From the start, Arthur and Jon were just as responsive, efficient and friendly as the reviews had said. We signed on with them after our first meeting to install one outdoor unit and 4 indoor units.They were knowledgeable, easy to work with and transparent when discussing timelines and pricing. We were impressed by their work. The bulk of the installation was completed in one day, and after the required electrical work, they quickly returned to complete the job. We'd certainly reach out to them again if we were in need of HVAC services and have already recommended them to others. Great experience overall!

What an amazing service! Jon, thank you for responding to our plea to come and check out our non-working air conditioner in the midst of a heat wave! Wow! Jon from Fire & Ice came that same day. While giving us a window of a few hours, he showed up within the first 30 min of that window and gave us a call beforehand that he will be arriving shortly. He then did his work quickly, efficiently, with no more words than needed but with all the explanations that were greatly appreciated, bringing our home to a breathable temperature right away. I have asked Jon and Artie from Fire & Ice, LLC to do work at the last three homes where I have lived. They have done emergency repairs as well as regular maintenance. Jon found and fixed issues with my boiler that were a result of neglect from the prior owner of my current home. Artie had my heat working shortly after he drove quickly to the store at the end of the day to get a needed part. Thanks to him, I did not have to go the night without heat! Both of them go above and beyond to get the job done. They explain everything in easy-to-understand terms and answer all questions. They are my go-to guys for everything related to heat and HVAC. I highly recommend them!

2025 review: same amazing service as in the past (I've had them tune up my boiler in years past) & this year my boiler/radiator system needed more work, due to subpar work by a contracted plumber during a renovation over the summer. This was a bigger job and Jon informed me it would require a team of 2, explained what was needed (including replacement parts) & reviewed pricing before any work was done. Arthur was nearby, got to my home quickly and together they got the job done easily & efficiently. I very much appreciate how reliable, thorough & quickly they work; it gives me the peace of mind of a job well done. Now I have heat again!

We've used Fire & Ice for several years for our AC. It is a quirky system but they know it inside and out. Jon & Artie are extremely responsive and great problem solvers. They work very efficiently and we've always been happy with their work.

Hired for maintenance on our two ductless units, one with no issues and another that had been leaking. After googling the issue, it sounded like it would be difficult to get this service without going through the people who installed it (we recently moved in and don’t have this info). Very happy with the service we received. They were very friendly and helpful and didn’t push any type of long term maintenance contract. Price was very reasonable. Thank you!

Artie came through for me with outstanding same-day service after my HVAC stopped working. He was able to line up the necessary parts and provided me with an option for him to pick them up directly, which allowed me to get the heat back on before the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a small issue with our thermostat's wiring. I called around to several places, and they all said it would take days/weeks to come out. After seeing Fire & Ice recommended on a local subreddit, I reached out to Arthur.

Over the phone, Arthur was upfront about my options and even tried to talk me through how to fix it myself so that I wouldn't have to pay their service fee. It turned out to be a bigger issue than we realized (wiring plus a blown fuse), so Arthur arranged for his partner Jon to come out and fix everything for us.

Jon was onsite less than 2 hours later. He was very professional -- even asked if he should take his shoes off before entering our unit! He fixed the issue and followed up with an email the next day to ensure everything was still working.

My heating system failed just before the recent cold spell over the holiday weekend, this is the second time I've had them come out for an emergency and third time in last 13 years to solve an issue with the furnace. Arthur/Artie is great, was able to diagnose the problem with the fan/blower pretty quickly and get replacement parts within a day and was able to repair it. In the past he solved and fixed two other issues as well. Always very responsive, even on a holiday weekend, figured out the quickest and most economical way to get parts and do the repair. My system was back up and running with new parts in less than 90 minutes. Highly recommend.

Our heating system had a few issues needing repair, and I am glad I found this company. The whole experience working with them from initial inquiry to scheduling and repair was seamless. Arthur is super responsive, courteous and efficient, and I also appreciate that he's upfront with pricing and thoroughly explained everything before commencing the work. Our heater is up and running much better than before! We will definitely use their service again if needed, and would recommend.

Called Arthur right before noon and he came same day at 4pm and fixed the problem on the spot despite us being brand new customers. Amazing service. I had a great customer service experience with Arthur. Although we did not end up using Fire & Ice's service because we are commercial instead of residential, Arthur was kind enough to give me pointers. He wasn't at all annoyed by my call even though he knew they wouldn't be able to provide service to us.
