We were looking for someone to install damper for us. They provided us a quality service and in timely manner and that too on coldest day ( in spite of us asking to do on another day ) . The person who came to do job for us was very knowledgeable.

We had our chimney restored to working order at a fair price and within a week of the initial quote. Our project manager, John, provided clear updates at every step and was always available to answer questions.

Our first chimney cleaning for our wood stove and could not have asked for a better, swifter and quality experience. Many thanks to the Brown Chimney team. Will be scheduling again next year.

John was very good and very knowledgeable. He was efficient and repaired what needed to be repaired. Explained to me what needed to be done and actually showed me the problem. I called them on a Friday and he was here and gave me a very reasonable quote to do the work. He came back and completed the work on Monday. Excellent company you won't be disappointed.

John , was on time ,very polite and thoughtful when he spoke to us.
Asked pertinent questions . After the inspection, he said that the cleaning was going to cost more than quoted due to the amount of wood we burned and the creosote in the chimney flue.
He started in and was done soon after. he was very orderly and cleaned up satisfactorily.
The day after I reviewed the owner of Brown LLC reached out to me to discuss my concerns based on my review.
Ben I found to be an owner that is really concerned about his business and making sure his customers come first. That is what a lot of companies don't do.

Just had a great experience with Brown Chimney! Excellent communication from start to finish. Their technician John was very professional and explained every step of the process, including photos at every stage! Hopefully, we will be ok for awhile, but if we need more work on our chimney, Brown will be our first call.

Brown did a great job repairing our damaged chimney, including replacing the top 13 layers of bricks and sealing some cracks caused by water damage over the years. John, the supervisor, was especially responsive to our questions and requests, and clear in his explanations. The final price matched his estimate, and it seemed very reasonable and fair.

After some disappointing experiences with other chimney services, I came across Brown Chimney online.

I booked the appointment over text with Ray and he was very helpful. Ay showed up right on time and was very knowledgable and helpful. He was able to work quickly and thoroughly on my roof (which is not easy to traverse), and did great work with the Chimney sweep, installing a net on my caps, and resealing. Even came back hours later to double check the seal took well on the outside chimney.

Very happy with the service we received. Our house is more than a hundred years old and the damper, which had never been changed was rusted out, and not functional. The team at Brown had a custom locking damper fabricated and installed it, as well as fixed the decayed mortar in our chimney, painted the firebox, and swept the chimney. They did high-quality work and their rates were fair for the work that they did. They were also very courteous and transparent about the work that they were doing. I recommend them highly!

My chimney has been serviced for over 6 months. Before that, I have leaked problem. I have replaced my roof and eventually, the leak still happened. So, I thought it may be the chimney. I asked the project lead for my roof, he said and showed me photos he had taken. He did not see too much problem on the chimney. There are some cracks. So, after the chimney worked. I will wait for a long period of time to see if it is really fixed. I am glad it is. Thanks.

My gas fireplace is now almost 30 years old and prior to last week, I hadn’t used it in 6 years. I tried to fire it up and it kept shutting down. I called another local fireplace company and was told that it most likely wouldn’t be fixable since parts were no longer available. They wouldn’t even come out to look at it. I searched some more and saw the excellent reviews that Brown Chimney got on google so I gave them a call….on a Sunday….and they actually answered. Fast forward to today, Joe came out and he was able to diagnose the problem, which was a lack of oxygen due to many years of birds building nests in the vent. It was completely blocked. He painstakingly pulled all the feathers, grass and other debris the birds left behind and got that fireplace up and running like new. No new parts required! As if that wasn’t enough, I asked him his advice on how to paint the brass louvers black to update the look. He was able to do that, too….today, on site. Lastly, Joe to determined my fireplace remote was dead and sent me the link for a replacement…and told me how to install it. The new remote is coming from Amazon tomorrow. I cannot say enough about this Company…they are professional, customer focused and so affordable. I feel like I got a brand new fireplace today and I am one happy customer. Suffice it to say, I highly recommend Brown Chimney and would give them 10 stars if I could!
