We had a pipe burst in our home causing significant damage. We called Servpro and they were at my house within 1/2 hr. The team was courteous, professional and efficient. They explaining everything they would be doing and met with the contractor and insurance assessor, this facilitated the job going quickly and smoothly. Thanks!

SERVPRO was quick to come out and start the cleanup, which is why they are getting more than one star. They never finalized the job though by providing an invoice, which is critical to completing the insurance processing.

I strongly recommend against using them for any job that involves insurance claims. Despite reaching out multiple times, 1.5 months after the actual job they still have not provided an invoice to either us or the insurance, holding up the claim processing.

Update 6 months later to 1 star:
When the insurance pressured over multiple months, ServPro suddenly cooked up an invoice without any details for a ridiculous amount, multiple times the amount the professional insurance adjuster had estimated.

If you want to save yourself troubles with your insurance, stay away from ServPro Belmont

We have been exchanging multiple emails and phone calls, so I am not sure why you are not able to tie this back to any record. I finally did receive an itemized invoice in beginning of May 2022 for the first time, 9 months after the service was provided. How many customers with the name Christian have this problem with you not sending invoices for more than half a year? Is this that common of an issue for you?

We had our house main sewer connection back up and flood the basement with disgusting muck. ServPro was awesome: they responded FAST and in one day had the mess cleaned up and the fans going to dry everything out. A week later they came back, finished removing the contaminated sections of wall, trim and insulation, and that was that. The project manager I dealt with, Anthony Salvi, was extremely polite and responsive. Having these guys respond so quickly and thoroughly to our emergency really did replace my freaking out with a sense that things were going to be ok after all. VERY happy with the service we got. Though I would hope to not need to call again, if the situation arose, 10/10 would definitely hire them.

I got a leaky pipe in my kitchen that spread everywhere and needed fast action.
I cannot say enough thank you to these guys they really go above and beyond to make sure everything is done to perfection. Raffi and the crew are awesome to work with they even came out on a Saturday to remove part of my flooring that had mold after removing ceilings walls and cabinets.
They simply are top notch.

I've never experienced such professional and concise home service and especially for such a messy project...My basement flooded and I was lucky that my 1st call reached serv-pro and they answered my call live on a Saturday during a blizzard. They visited my property by Monday as promised. My friend had same flood issue and he is still waiting for his contractor to show up....It can be a very emotional and involved experience when huge home mishaps occur and especially when insurance is needed for proper repair. Michael managed my entire project as if we were friends and communicated with me every step of the way and that made my project painless. Based on 2 flood events when I have called Servpro of Cambridge/Belmont, two traumatic leaks, this company is just excellent and the people are great. They are nice, responsive, and professional. They are in a business that you only have reason to call when you are in a crisis, and from my experience I give them highest marks. The respond to emergencies, get right to the cleanup, and make you feel like it will all be OK.

For medical, infection control reasons I needed everything in my house cleaned and sterilized - carpets, area rugs removed, furniture and curtains. It was short notice and ServPro came in and did everything beautifully. They were very careful with furniture and moving things. The area rugs were cleaned, stored and returned/replaced when I was ready. The team was professional and cheerful. Communications and arrangements were easy - they accommodated my schedule and were there when they said they would be. I will definitely use them again.

I've never done a review before, but I have to praise Servpro for their fantastic service. The cleanup was fast and efficient, and I couldn't be happier. The site manager, Sergio, did a great job and my overall experience was way over what I was expecting. I highly recommend them and I will use them again in the future.

Michael Pridham, Raffi, and their amazing team did another quick, thorough, professional job and were in and out in no time. I cannot recommend Servpro of Belmont/Cambridge highly enough! We discovered an area of mold in the non-profit I volunteer for, and it needed to be dealt with immediately. I called Servpro and they jumped into action. The owner, Michael, was fantastic and very accommodating to our tight schedule. Sergio, Roberto, and their team of workers were all polite, efficient, and very professional. They worked quickly and went the extra mile to make sure the area was thoroughly disinfected, clean and dry. We are so grateful for their help and will continue to use their services!

The manager over the phone was pushy, rude, trying to add unnecessary services to bump up the price, deceptive with his initial quote. Once the workers are there and you're on the hook for the service charge, he more than doubled the cost. Entire process took exactly 30 minutes including packing up the truck. The workers themselves were great - friendly and respectful. Too bad about their boss. Advice: call another company.

I will call Servpro Cambridge /Belmont if my basement ever floods again! In the middle of January's storm, our sewer backed up into the basement. Michael was responsive and timely. Sergio and his assistant ripped out our raised floor (concealing most of the mess), removed all water & waste and fully disinfected - all in one day. They also took pictures which were very useful for navigating insurance. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Michael and Melvin were extremely kind and compassionate as well as responsive and informative. Melvin and his assistant arrived at my home as promised and swiftly took care of extracting the water, setting up equipment to dry out the area and shared their expertise on the many options for next steps in dealing with our situation. I highly recommend ServPro of Belmont/Cambridge - they are THE BEST!!!

Having experienced water damage once before, I knew to immediately call Servpro. Thankfully, Raffi Yarmenian and his team were at our home an hour later and the team was experienced and efficient. During 5 days I worked with them, they were always on time, straight forward and knowledgeable. Damage to your home is obviously a challenging situation so you definitely want an experienced team like Raffi's on your side.

Servpro staff were quick to respond, courteous, thorough--and convincingly concerned with our welfare. They used sophisticated drying equipment, checked on the dryness of our floors daily, answered our many questions politely and patiently. We recommend them highly!!

I recently had cause for Servpro to perform quite a bit of work at my home. I give my highest rating of approval to the team. They were prompt, thorough, professional and a pleasure to deal with. It was clear that Raffi, Sergio and Melvin and the rest of the crew were dedicated to professional service and my family's well being. Under difficult circumstances, it was a pleasure to deal with them. You could not ask for a better experience.

I had water damage in a basement space with rugs and exercise mats and other stuff. I called Servpro because I had seen their trucks around and really did not know who else to call. I am so glad I called them because they were able to help me salvage some of the stuff that I thought would have to be replaced. They took all the rugs and mats and cleaned them off site. This was great because I could never have done that, no space for one and no equipment or know-how. Furthermore I would have just spread around mold and mildew in the rest of the basement. Anyway they also told me how to clean what I could clean myself which was cool because that is work they were basically taking away from them selves. Once the area was clear they came back and cleaned everything, set up these big dryer boxes, and after it was clean and dry they put the mats back and all the rugs they were able to clean. The place for the first time didn't smell like a basement! Honestly it was cleaner than it had ever been. They really turned a horrible situation for me into a tolerable one. I hope you never need their services but if you do I would strongly recommend them.

Among the most responsive, effective and customer-oriented companies I have experienced. The ServPro crews saved us multiple times in 2014 when we dealt with an unexpected issue in our basement. Even when they were dealing with a host of emergencies following historic rainfall, they responded in minutes to our call and worked into the night to resolve our problem.
