So many times when you call a plumber that you do not know...it's really like playing Russian Roulette. Are they going to call back? If they call back...will they show up for the appointment? If they show up....(on time mind you)...will they want to do the job? And if they do want to do the job...will the price be fair? And finally....if you go through all the effort of hiring them and they do the job within the time frame they say they are going to do it....is it done right? Here's the thing with Kaufman Plumbing....I never have to play those games. Consistently...when I call them for a myriad of problems I might have, I know they will call back. I know they will show up and do the job correctly and at a fair price. I like playing games...but NOT Russian Roulette...and thus that is why I use only Joey Kaufman and his team. If you like playing Russian Roulette ...call some other plumbing company ...but if you don't want to play that with you plumbing issues...call Kaufman Plumbing.

We had a major plumbing job done by Kaufman Plumbing. It involved replacing two bathrooms and the cast iron main drains in the house. We were happy not only with their quote but the professional, knowledgeable way the quote was done. We had had others come in, but knew right away this was the man for the job. Nick was the plumber who worked tirelessly with us and we were so impressed by his amazing work ethic and calm manner. We couldn't be happier with this company. It's so nice to know we have someone to call on in the future.

Joseph gave me a call back the next day to inform me he could not perform the work that I stated in my VM to him. He did however, recommend another company he trusts with the work I needed. Joseph was very professional and I appreciated him even recommending another business to help with my plumbing issue. Thank you.

Joe Kaufman plumbing and heating and a great company. Everyone needs a good plumber and they have been great for me over many years. I have called them for small projects like a leaky faucet and also larger remodel projects. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a great plumber

Joe installed a tankless water heater for us a few years ago and it has worked flawlessly. The installation also looks like a work of art, as it was meticulously installed. This year we asked him to see if he could diagnose a shower that was very loud when we ran it. One of his guys came over and spent the time diagnosing and rebuilding the shower valve. We were shocked at how much quieter the shower is now. We just thought we might have to live with that racket due to the way the house was built. On top of it all, the bill was very reasonable. I highly recommend Joe and his crew.

Called Kaufman plumbing when the check valve for my sump pump blew off and water was spewing everywhere. I was in crisis mode 😂 but they were here within an hour. Saved my basement from flooding. Nick was excellent, efficient, and fast. Will use again in the future. Highly recommend.

In addition to saving my butt and my basement a few years ago per my previous review below, Joe's crew just did an amazing job installing a washing machine hookup in my new business location. In addition to talking me through turning off my water to prevent further damage to my house, he fit me in to the schedule and got me back up and running with hot water faster than I could have hoped! I love Joe and his guys. We got several quotes for hot water heaters and they were the only ones to give us a quote over the phone. The quote was less than the others and they carried some in stock so could come and install a new one right away. They are trustworthy and skilled. It was a 10:10 experience.

These guys are fast, reliable, affordable, and just plain awesome! They once talked to me through fixing something over the phone because from my description they were pretty sure that's all it would take and they didn't want me to spend money unnecessarily. I could not possibly be happier with their work and I will shout their praises from the rooftops until somebody asks me to stop!

We had Kaufman come out to do some plumbing work and they did an exceptional job. Very honest and fair pricing. We had a main water valve shutoff installed, and they also fixed up our oil pipes after we had new house siding installed. We will use them for all of our future plumbing needs!

I used them when I wanted a shower downstairs in my basement. Joe was very insightful on the best way to do the project and got it done. His experience and can-do attitude enabled me to have exactly what I wanted. Thank you!!!!

Joe and his team are terrific. Scheduling was easy and Joe’s guys came out within a day to replace a hard-to-reach pipe to an outside water line. The job was completed quickly and for far less money than we anticipated, which almost never happens these days. They are honest, quick to respond and did an excellent job. What more could you want?

I needed a new hot water tank on a Saturdays as mine failed and was leaking. Joe arrived within two hours and expertly installed a new tank he brought with him And disposed of the old one. He does small repairs and whole house renovations expertly .and his prices are reasonable for the high quality.

A+ in every aspect. When I called for quote, John (owner) answered. He was straightforward and was able to give me a ballpark over the phone. After dealing with other plumbing companies that have a more corporate feel (with minimum charges, multiple crews etc.), it was a breath of fresh air to work with John. Him and his son Mike showed up in the early part of the 2 hour window they had given me. Because there was spray foam in the elbow of the baseboard pipe, I thought there was a leak that had been fixed improperly by the previous owner, but John and Mike were able to determine that there was no leak and that the foam was probably there to reduce noise or because the pipe was located in the corner against an exterior wall. Rodenhiser had previously come to the house and quoted me over $800 to fix it. Sostilio & Sons didn't charge me at all to determine that the pipe was fine. They also replaced a faucet for about half what Rodehniser was going to charge. Guess I found my new plumber! Thanks guys!

Best plumber in the Metro-West area for sure. They were able to come out immediately when my hot water heater quit and were very reasonably priced. The hot water heater ended up having a manufacturing defect completely unrelated to Sostilio & Sons, they were willing to come out the same day and get us taken care of. I can't recommend them enough.

We highly recommend Sostilio and Sons Plumbing and Heating. We had a several items we needed taken care of. First off, they don’t exasperate you with fees. They show up on time, they’re courteous, professional and their work was high quality. We would definitely call them again.

Called Sostilio and Sons about fixing up some problems with both bathroom showers and sinks and adding an outdoor water faucet. I spoke to Mike and he came out to give an estimate, he said that he could start today.
The work was done and we couldn't be happier, he explained everything that was done. If I need a plumber for any other plumbing work I will be calling them.

I don’t really know how much a plumber is these days, but I really think I was taken advantage of by having to pay $750 for 3.5 hrs. The parts were very inexpensive, a toilet flapper & sprayer hose(which doesn’t work & didn’t the last time they put on in on May 2019). Everyone I told about this, said I was charged way too much. I texted Mike and told him about my concerns ; that he overcharged me. I almost died when I heard the cost. I ha to use all of my Savings. ALL of it. I’m just really disappointed. Even the guy from the water department who had to come inspect something, thought it was high. I read that the average plumber charges $150/hr. Am I being unreasonable? I could see it costing $450-$500 but $750 seems too high. I know plumbers need to make a living and I respect an honest, hard worker. That’s all I ask.

Rave reviews once again for Sostilio and Sons Plumbing. Our hot water heater failed at 1:30 in the afternoon...water gushing in my basement...immediately placed a phone call to John. He called me back within 5 minutes and said he would juggle his schedule and help me out. I sent him a picture so he could be sure the normal "tall" tank would fit since the clearance is limited. He and his son went to pick up the tank and had me back in business with hot water by 4:30. This outstanding family owned business has never let me down. In addition to superior technical expertise, John and all of his sons are wonderful people. They get an A+++ from our family!!! Thanks to the team at Sostilio and Sons.
