John and his sons recently installed a tankless gas hot water heater. They did a great job with the installation communicating clearly and effectively about all aspects of the process.

John and his 2 sons installed a Navien combi boiler for us. The whole process (from initial check to final install) went very well. The communication is very smooth, excellent quality work with reasonable price. This is the correct way to do plumbing, we strongly recommend them.

We used Mike Jr on several repairs and a complicated installation of an outside gas line for our gas grill and every time the work has been done well, on time with great practical advice and economically. Small example, we thought we needed to replace our tub water fixtures because of leakage and Mike showed us that it was a simple repair cleaned up the fixture and had it working like new rather than having us replace the entire set. Great service and very prompt getting back to us when we call and with estimates. High recommend them.

Though it took a day for them to return my call, once they did they showed up to fix my two issues within the hour. They fixed a leaky pipe and a lack of hot water in a shower in less than one hour. They were professional, polite, speedy, and the price was within reason. I definitely recommend their services.

They stand by their work and have done a quality job with our projects (installing a new toilet, fixing up old pipes, others) we’ve needed for our 100+ year old home. Hopefully won’t need a plumber for a while, but if we do, will definitely ask them for help.

I needed to replace corroded sections of cast iron pipe as well as a bathroom sink trap at my home. John was very quick to return my phone call to assess my situation and provide an estimate. These guys are great - friendly, prompt, professional, clean, and reasonably priced. It can be difficult to find reliable and honest people that work in the trades so I am glad I found John. Mike Sostilio is our forever plumber from now on. We hired him to do a fairly involved water heater replacement, and he did a terrific job from start to finish. He handled everything efficiently and professionally, and did it all at an extremely competitive price. Mike is knowledgable, friendly, tidy, always super easy to communicate with, and works hard to make sure everything is done right. He takes the time to explain things and breaks down the options with absolutely no pressure or up-sell. From the big things like finding the right size of boiler, to the small things like always carefully wiping his boots before entering our house, he really goes above and beyond. He clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and takes great care of his customers. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

I contacted Sostilio and Sons to discuss some plumbing projects in our new home and I'm so glad we did! Mike came to do the initial estimate and was super professional and thorough as he explained what needed to be done. Our master bathroom shower stall started leaking into the garage. Sostilio & Sons was recommended by a friend so I called and left a message after hours. They called us the following morning and came by to give us an estimate. They completed the repair that same day. Mike and his assistant were wonderful! They are professional, personable and reasonable in their pricing. I highly and confidently recommend them.

Not only did they beat the price of a much larger company but their expertise, quality attention to detail work, and courteous friendly demeanor exceeded my expectations. We recently had our first child and decided to install a whole home water filter. Mike responded the same day and was super helpful. He recommended a few water filtration systems and was able to get us a free quote for installation. Install was really easy and took less than a day. Mike was extremely professional and took all the proper COVID precautions. He explained the system and how to use it at the end of the project in a way that I could easily understand. Would highly recommend.

Multiple jobs in an older house we purchased last year. Mike and his father were very friendly (despite our dog taking their tools), reliable, and communicated well. They even made a trip to our house to install bathroom faucets we purchased at Home Depot, but strongly advised us not to install them due to the quality of the product. They came back again, at no extra charge, to install a higher quality product. A very trustworthy family business. Will definitely use them again.

Our tenants reported a problem with the kitchen faucet that was causing water to spray/leak in the cabinet below. I contacted Sostilio and Sons to schedule an appointment to fix the problem. Mike was outstanding! He was punctual and contacted me when he arrived at the building. Unfortunately there was a slight delay in getting the water shut off by the management company of the building, despite the fact that the shut off was scheduled in advance. But Mike was very patient and even went so far as to try to locate a member of maintenance. (Not an easy task during a pandemic when staffing is limited!) The tenant informed us that he completed the job efficiently (replaced faucet/shut off valve) and also commented on his friendliness and knowledge of his trade. Mike did contact me afterwards to review what had been done and even sent pics. Pricing was very reasonable and fair. There is another plumbing issue that needs to be addressed in one of the bathrooms. Thank goodness we found Sostilio and Sons....Mike will be back to tackle that job too! :)

I was having a problem with a slow kitchen drain. I called several companies to help me. Sostilio was the first one to call me back. Mike came over and did a fantastic job. Not only did he snake the drain, but he also made some quick improvements to the pipes in the crawlspace so it wouldn't happen again. He was punctual, proactive, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was also very personable... and took pride in his work and the company. The price was very reasonable and a lot less than some other quotes I got. They will definitely be my plumber going forward.

We have a 150+ year old house with many quirks and we have used Sostilio and Sons to resolve all of our plumbing and heating issues, big and small. They recently completely fixed a bathroom that was messed up by a contractor (I will not make the mistake of letting a contractor use their own plumber again...). I have been a customer of S&S for a few years now, and they have done several jobs for me at multiple locations. Every experience has been the same - fantastic. Awesome customer service, fair prices, great quality work, and honest. Example, I called them this morning (on a nice snowy day of course) and let them know my water heater had failed.
