Baldinelli Refrigeration

Nate had done lots of work for us, upstairs a/c, downstairs furnace & a/c. He is professional, kind, and does a great job! I would absolutely recommend him.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They sent over an 18 year old newly graduated kid to diagnose our central air problem. We already knew we needed a transformer and let the kid, Jeff, know. He found some chewed wires and replaced them then told me he would need to order parts and come back the following week to install.
One week later the same kid, Jeff shows up to install the newly ordered blower motor (I thought he was ordering the transformer)and 5 hours later he tells us he needs to get a transformer. Really? He leaves and gets the transformer and within 30 minutes, blows that one up because he wired the blower incorrectly. Heard a loud pop and saw smoke! The kid then comes to me and says, "Someone else is going to have to come out and find a short in your system that I can't find. There was no short prior to him working on it, just needed a simple $13.00 transformer as everything worked fine when a bypass button was depressed. He then hands me a bill for $550.00!!!!! Says he's not charging me labor for the day. I told him I would not pay until the job was complete and told him to call his boss Nate. Nate's solution....We would not have to pay but they would take apart my AC and take back their parts!!!! Seriously? It's not our fault the kid didn't have help and was lost doing his job. Its not our fault the wrong parts were ordered. Why should we pay for their mistakes?
I then called Nate, completely irate and expressed my anger at his business practices and the fact the an inexperienced kid should have been supervised. He kept telling me that he was going to take his parts back if I didn't pay him. My husband then got on the phone screaming at him about how pathetic he is as a business person and how we were quoted $400 total for the job (again, thought he was ordering the transformer that we showed Jeff to which he agreed was blown but totally forgot to order). Ok so my husband was a bit of a bully and threatened Nate over the phone to either fix the unit or he was going to break his legs. Mind you, I didn't agree to his verbage but he was angry. Who could blame him. Certainly not the cop who showed up the next day to get our side of the story. Yes, thats right folks, Baldinelli Refridgeration screwed up a simple repair and when they couldn't hustle $550 from us for parts that didn't fix the problem, they call the cops on their customers.
Again, I don't agree with how my husband handled things but it was a angered verbal threat over the phone. Any other company wouldn't have even got to this point as they would have said nothing was due until the job was complete.

Baldinelli Refrigeration is tops on my list! Nate has serviced my 65 year old heating system in my home as well as installed an amazing air conditioning unit at my business. Both systems are efficient . He is professional, courteous and dependable. I highly recommend Baldinelli Refrigeration!
