Charlie did a good job of aerating and overseeding. He was thorough making all areas of the yard got coverage. He also explained what i needed to do for the next two weeks.

Subscribed to multi-application weed control, lime application and a season long fertilizer. This was my third year. Each year the lawn has shown improvement. Year 2021 saw lots of rain and a great looking lawn. So, I was skeptical. Year 2022, we could not water, living in North Reading, do not have installed irrigation. We had the classic brown lawn all Summer. November, with rainfall back to normal, it was the week before Thanksgiving, we did a final cut as part of our leaf clean-up. December 1st the grass is dark green, weeds are diminished. The lawn has a golf course look. We are very pleased with the service.

Tom appears to have done a great job. When I got home yesterday I saw the White flag signaling that he had come and done a treatment and received the invoice with information and suggestions on it. I looked around and from what I could see the treatment was applied to my entire lawn front and back. If I had known he was coming yesterday I probably would have blown away all the leaves that were on the lawn so that the lawn could get the full exposure to the treatment. I will be calling the office to discuss possible aeration and overseeding especially in the front and side of the house. Thank you

Signing up with Truly Lawn was a very positive experience. Patrick was exceptional in explaining lawn care and the lawn care specialists that treated our lawn were prompt, knowledgeable, and further educated us on the process. Our lawn has a long way to go but looks better than it ever has.

Charles was our technician who completed our aeration. He was knowledgeable, explained the procedure, and was thorough. He even showed patience and frivolity as my 4 year old grandson launched a basketball out the window at him. My husband and I appreciate his effort in doing his job responsibly.

I contacted truly lawn because I wanted my lawn to continue in good shape . They offered lawn care, weed control and fertilizing. The worker who visited my garden spent less than 5 minutes working and did not cover the whole lawn with treatment. I mentioned this to the company several times. Unfortunately after their treatments the lawn became worse and worse . I asked for the reason but I got no explanation. I decided to discontinue their service and they offered no solution. They left my lawn in terrible state. I do not recommend this company at all.

I have to say, my lawn used to be a real mess – you know, the kind where you're scared to let the kids play because of ticks and mosquitoes. It was frustrating, to say the least.

But then, along came Truly Lawn. I can't thank them enough for what they've done. My lawn is like a whole new world now. Seriously, it's green, it's healthy, and it's a place where my kids can finally run around without me worrying.

Oh, and did I mention no more ticks and mosquitoes? It's like a weight off my shoulders.

Hi, I have used Truly Lawn for the past two years. Back in 2023, their service was excellent, and my lawn looked terrific - I have about 1,2 acres. This year, things could have gone better. Despite paying for the complete package, my lawn doesn't look that good. I am attaching a few photos to see what I am talking about.

I had aeration and over-seeding services performed this week. Overall, I was happy with the interaction, price and work. This was my first encounter with Truly Lawn. I’d use them again. There were a few scar spots from the equipment but that may be normal, this was my first aeration.

We have worked with Allan and his team for the last 5 years and have consistently had a great experience. We first hired them for landscaping in our small yard and flower bed at our place near Porter Square in Somerville. We have gotten lots of compliments on the results and really enjoy our flowering shrubs, new patio, and lawn. Since then we have continued to work with them for yard maintenance and snow removal. Allan has always been responsive, reasonable, and considerate. I’d happily recommend them to my neighbors.

Allan is a pleasure to work with! I’m a real estate agent in Cambridge and when I need landscaping done for a property, I always call Allan. He is timely (in fact, he’s always early!), he comes with a good sense of humor, he has good ideas (he knows his plants) and he gets the job done. His prices are fair.

Every spring I wonder if my garden will come back to life, and every spring Allan Spires and his team from American Elm Landscape makes me forget I ever doubted it. They did a full spring cleanup, mulched all the beds, repositioned plants that needed a better spot, and left everything looking like it had a complete facelift. The lilacs are happy, the perennial beds are clean and defined, and the gravel paths actually look intentional again.
What sets them apart isn’t just the work, it’s the attitude. They’re good-natured, show up when they say they will, and treat your space like they actually care about it. Pricing is fair and transparent.

We have had Alan and American Elm do work on our yards for years now. They do great work! His prices are always very reasonable, and he always makes sure we are happy with the job. I highly recommend them!!

We recently had our backyard completely overhauled by Allen & his team (see pics!) and had a good experience. They were easy to communicate with and addressed our ever-growing list of questions and requests we had along the way.

The finished result looks amazing and totally transformed the space. There were some details that needed touch-ups, but over time they made sure everything was taken care of. We plan on continuing to use them for our yearly maintenance and any other landscaping needs we might have.

Overall, we love how everything turned out - a little backyard oasis in the middle of the city that’s a perfect space to relax with enough space for kids and dogs to run around and play. We would recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping work.
