We were lucky to be connected with Bigelow as a result of a recommendation from our home's previous owner. Simply put, they have been amazing. Our oil deliveries are always timely. Our service needs are always met (Tony is a magician, and always seems to know the problem with our furnace as soon as he steps in the door). Look no further if you want consistent excellent service from a friendly local business.

We have been with Bigelow Oil for over 25 years. When we need oil, we call their Customer Service who are very courteous. Since we bought our house, we have also used their annual maintenance contract for us and for our tenants. Whenever there is a problem with either unit [which have been very few] they are prompt to service us. The technicians are knowledgeable and answer any questions we may have. I highly recommend Bigelow Oil for quality service. We have been with them since 1994, so have had a chance to know the quality of the company well. ..

We’ve been customers of Bigelow Oil & Energy for over 20 years. Oil delivery has always been correctly scheduled; oil prices have been fair; and service has been excellent. In the past when we have had furnace issues, they resolved every one, and for years now we have only needed the yearly maintenance done before the winter heating season. All personal that we have encountered have been knowledgable and courteous. I have recommended Bigelow to members of my family and to neighbors.

Someone who works for this company and uses the company van is a squatter! He goes to clean the furnace then stays until the house is finally sold! So because of him we are unable to move into our house! Absolutely disgusting! Don’t use this company unless you want your house to have a squatter using your electricity water etc! Extremely responsive, even on a Saturday night, and they came out soon after to efficiently clean our heating vent. The service was completely professional and quick, the price was affordable, and everyone was really friendly. Can't recommend them enough!

BUYER BEWARE — I believe this place may be a scam. They pressure you to have “all your vents” cleaned at a high price-per-vent. I was suspicious but it was Covid times and I’d been coughing a lot working from home, so agreed. They did a sloppy job replacing the vent grills, using only one or two screws instead of the two or four originally there. Dryer vent wasn’t even close and they damaged the plaster around ceiling vents in my basement. I asked to see how much dust and debris they collected and they said they didn’t keep it because I ‘hadn’t asked at the beginning.’ I saw VERY little dust on the old air filter they removed when the cleaning was done, yet I had never had my ducts cleaned after 28 years. They were friendly enough and were at my house nearly 2 hours, but I felt it was all an act. I paid about $1K for the service - big overpayment. I also was supposed to get an emailed receipt but never received one.

Look at how many of their Google reviews come from people with 1 or 2 reviews. They’re likely posting fake reviews to get this high rating. Ain’t kosher. Be careful ...

Sean cleaned out the baseboard heaters that had a lot of dust and pet hair and he throughly cleaned out the dryer vents! This team provided outstanding service! Over and above what we expected. On time, professional, and clean. Our dryer has an air vent that is difficult to reach. Sharon figured out the best way to access it and didn’t even charge us extra for the two trips it required. The price he charged was lower than his original estimate and better than any other quote we got. He’s the guy we will go back to in the future, for sure!

an absolutely MUST service to every house!
We moved to a new house 4 years ago and shortly after started suffering from allergies, we bought air purifiers to each room as we couldn't figure out the root cause.
Sean and the team were extremely professional and helpful, very responsive, arrived and time and extremely clean and respectful of property, and on top of it all, great price!
We have stored our air purifiers and are living allergies free since then!

We recently bought an old house, with an old HVAC system. The place went into a lengthy renovation. Early in the process, we contacted the owner of Boston Air, trying to see whether we should do something for the ducts or the system, while the walls were still open. The owner came over, reviewed our system, and gave us an honest opinion about what we need to do before using the system. He also called our contractor and helped him solve one issue with one of the newly installed ducts. We called him again upon the completion of the renovation and set a time for duct cleaning. He and his team were on time, professional, efficient, and very comprehensive. They cleaned the ducts effectively and left the house clean (in general, they might be messy, but not here). Also, the owner, a great guy, and an expert in his field, review the installation and the opening of other ducts beyond our HVAC. It was our newly installed dryer duct. He offered tips and helpful guidance to our contractor about solving an issue there (the duct was coming out in a tight place, which makes it harder for future cleaning). So bottom line - professional, comprehensive, reliable. We will call Boston Air again for any of our duct cleaning needs.
