I was looking for a plumber to fix a gas situation at my parents’ residence. Came across many plumbing companies on Google after work hours (5:30/6ish) and these guys were the only ones that picked up. I appreciated that so much from him because we needed to get this situation resolved as quickly as possible for the new tenants.

Five stars from me for great communication and getting the work done in a timely manner. Derek explained in clear details what the following steps would be. He kept me posted with everything, including the little setback with the city inspector that occurred — not his fault at all. They were still able to get the work completed the same day as said.

Hire these guys, you won’t be disappointed! Great pricing as well!

I got exactly what I wanted with great communication and explanation of all aspects of the job. Very friendly and great at answering all my questions. Had a toilet replaced and shower head replaced. Young Buck Plumbing was the third company that I called, but they were the only company that answered the phone.
Derek came right over, removed the old water heater, and had a new one up and running in a few hours! Because it was an emergency, I expected the price to be higher, but the price was very reasonable.

Derek and Nathan did an excellent job replacing my 30 yr old leaky laundry valve. They responded quickly and were able to do this work earlier than others. Now I have a shiny brassy new valve, which works perfectly. While they were at my house, they were willing to take care of some extra plumbing problem with my shower at no cost! They will be my "go-to" plumber from now on, and I recommend them very highly!

Unbeatable professionalism, courtesy and communication. Young Buck delivered on my hot water issue. I have an older system with hot water coming off my integrated boiler. These guys came in and had a plan and talked me through what would happen if any one of those steps didn’t work. In the end, I have hot water and a team I can call on in the future. Two feet of snow on the ground and most plumbers were off due to the weather, these guys squeezed me into their day to replace my leaking hot water heater. I highly recommend Young Buck! They are responsive and friendly. My boiler and indirect water heater broke down a few days ago, and with the weather getting colder, it was an unpleasant surprise. But Derek and Nathan were able to come out the next day on time and sent the quote the same day for the heat pump water heater. We now have hot water before the weekend. They explained everything clearly and cleaned up the area neatly!

The new water heater qualifies for a MassSave rebate, and Derek even printed the form and filled in some details, so we hope to get rebate on that. Overall, we had a satisfying experience — prompt turnaround, good communication and customer service. They’re also local, so it’s good to know they can come out quickly if we need plumbing work in the future!

My wife & I worked with Derek & his team on our water heater/furnace. We had multiple plumbers that were unable to resolve the issue over the course of a month. Their team was diligent, through and professional throughout the entire experience. Things were handled in a timely manner and the new water heater and furnace that ended up getting installed came out great. Would recommend them to anyone.

Got our heater to work for the time being , during this cold weather 🌡️ as he had to order some parts for a tune-up. If I could give this guy more than 5-stars I would. Doug arrived right on time and did a thorough evaluation for our job. He is up to date on all the required codes. Friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this company!

Reached them on Thumbtack. Responded to my request almost immediately. Technician, Dennis, came out on time, was very professional and quickly diagnosed the problem after I gave him a short description. He gave me a quote within a minute. I accepted the quote. The work was done in less than a half hour. Toilet works great now. It was clogged up, evidentially from a toy that my dog must have dropped in the bowl. He also replaced the flapper, the float and the hose going to the tank. Great job!

No issue with the employee plumber who came to perform the service. My issue is with the price I paid. This company replaced our water heater a few years back for what I thought to be a reasonable price, so I was caught off guard when the plumber gave me the price for this repair which I regrettably agreed to and am now kicking myself. The plumber rang my ring doorbell at 9:49am and was backing out of my driveway at 10:18 (29 min). He replaced a vanity drain tailpiece for $624. Also, the tailpiece is an inferior quality plastic material, not metal. A plumber friend who lives in a neighboring New England state says this seems to be outrageously high. Beware of flat rate companies like this one. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere going forward.

We recently bought a house and have needed quite a few plumber visits- Doug Anderson has been GREAT. Communication is top notch (texting, messages with provider photos ahead of time), billing is clear, and I think we have met at least four of their service guys now and they are all extremely friendly and efficient. Dennis was here this morning and was great! He fixed a rotted out pipe section in no time at all. Not usually a good thing to NEED to call a plumber but these folks have made it as painless as possible.

He worked to put in. New furnace, explained what he did, showed me everything about the new furnace and new pipes in and outside, very friendly. , personable and hard worker!
Charlie helped with inspection and it went smooothly
