Reviews of local pros in North Reading, Massachusetts

Thank you to Edwin and the team who did a fantastic job at my spring cleanup and mulch! The attention to detail with pruning, laying the mulch and edging was very much appreciated!

We switched mid-winter to use them for plowing as our other provider wasn’t working out. I love the emails that we get ahead of storms to let us know the plan and anticipated timing for plowing! They did a great job with our driveway.

Tim and his team have been taking care of my yard for many years. They do the services we agree on and don't try to add services or material you don't ask for. Tim answers any questions I have and I am overall satisfied with having Essential Landscapes take care of my lawn and yard work.

We have used Essential Landscapes for the past 10 years. Tim and his crew are great, very responsive, always timely and do a great job. I have recommended Essential Landscapes to friends in the local area. I highly recommend this company!

Snow Plowing - Essentials plowed my drive way several times this winter - on time I didn't have to call - East time they came they did a very good job on removing the snow - My drive is tricky to move the snow around because it bends around but Tim and his team were able to move the snow out of the way - So all that was remaining was easy for me to remove/snow blow away. On the smaller storms I just let Tim know that I would be able to handle the snow removal and that was it, they didn't show up and had no issues at all with Essential Landscaping.

Tim and his team have done an outstanding job with our yard! Last year they planted sod in a very hard to grow, low sun area that was beautiful, and came back again this year! We are having a back yard event in two weeks and they mulched and trimmed, the yard looks amazing. Tim is an easy, professional guy to work with. His team, who were so nice while here, were so respectful of our yard. Not a bit of mulch on the yard or driveway!! Highly recommend Tim and his team!!

Essential Landscaping has done our winter plowing for At least 5 years. They are AMAZING!
They have multiple payment plans from payment up front to pay as it snows. The communication from them is great. We get an email prior to every storm that slows us to plan.
They are so receptive to emails and phone calls. I would highly recommend them for any service.

We have been using Essential Landscaping for quite a few years now. Tim and his crew manage plowing services in the winter months. If we need them to come earlier than the normal plow time, I just have to let Tim know ahead of time and he’ll send the team out. Also, I get an email before an expected storm with details of how the plowing services will be handled. I am pleased with Tim’s work and would highly recommend their service.

Snow plowing also.

We’ve used Essential Landscaping for many, many years. Tim is a nice guy and his team is good too. He answers questions by email very quickly.
Overall, we’ve had a great experience with the Company.

Staff was very prompt, professional, and willing to perform any tasks we requested. Our yard has not looked this good in a while. Fabulous job Edwin and partner!! Thanks again.

We have been using Essential for a number of years. They are professional and responsive and do a great job. My wife and I are both essential personnel and in the winter, we never have to worry about getting out of the driveway after a storm. The landscaping although not a large area is always well done and looks great

Essential Landscapes has been taking care of my drive way during the winter for a few years now. They are very reliable and come out for each storm.
I in particular appreciate the emails that you receive prior to each storm with Information as to when you can expect your plowing to be done! Great service!

They’re the most reliable company we’ve worked with and show up like clockwork. Edwin and his crew were just here doing a mulch service and offered to clean up an unruly rose bush and it looks great.

Essential Landscapes has been caring for our yard & gardens for years. They have done a great job with the annual spring & fall clean ups, pruning as necessary, lawn care and mowing.

Thankfully, they also do snow plowing! I found out the day before a huge storm was expected in 12/19 that our long term snow plower had retired! I called Tim, he was able to give me a quote and I was added to his plowing rotation before the snow started. This year, they have e-mailed snow plowing advisories so we know if & when they will be plowing. A huge help!

We have been very pleased with their services & I have found them excellent in responding promptly to calls or questions.

Have used Essential Landscapes for snow removal for two seasons. They communicate before storms letting customers know their plans in terms of timing based on amount of snow anticipated. Tim is always responsive to questions and extremely professional. I highly recommend them.

Edwin and the mulch crew did a fantastic job! Thank you, Essential Landscapes!

Reynardo and his team did an amazing job on our spring cleanup, and fit us in quickly as a new customer. Communication has been great so far!

We hired Tim and his Essential crew to take care of our lawn back in 2012 and haven't looked back. They are quick (never careless) and efficient, and always leave our property looking great! They did a large garden makeover project for us a few years ago, took out large, overgrown plantings and added new flowering shrubs that are much more size-appropriate to the house., They took out the sad mulch and put down small stones to cut back on weeds. I'm as thrilled with it today as I was the day the work was completed. Give Tim a call today!

I used Essential Landscapes at my last property and now at my current home. Tim is always responsive and takes time to understand what your needs are. His crew are efficient, consistent, they get to know the property and how to best take care of it. I highly recommend them!

Essential Landscapes did a really great job. They were very responsive to my initial inquiry and provided a reasonable quote for the work. They scheduled the service very quickly and did a really great job with the leaf clean up. I would definitely recommend them.

Been Using Essential Landscapes for years now for weekly mowing/yard cleaning. They come same day/time each week so its never a surprise on when they will be there. They are always reaching out to see if there is anything else they can do to make sure their clients are happy. I highly recommend them!
