We like this place a lot. The staff is knowledgeable and goes out of their way to help and find answers. Their stock is great so you can pick just what you want. They have everything from small plants to big trees. We had someone drive us around for like 20 minutes showing us all the trees and giving us a lot of good info on what to pick. It's our go to gardening shop. Prices are very fair too, and things like trees are guaranteed for a year.

Well organized and very healthy plant selection. They have a friendly knowledgeable staff who are willing to take time to figure out what plants work best for your needs when you might not know exactly what you are looking for. I've bought multiple plants from them over the years and they are all doing well in my yard. Be aware, they are on the more expensive end of the price spectrum, but with that you get top tier customer service and when one of your plants they sold you isn't doing so hot, they will actually help you save it. All around great experiences. Best in the area without a doubt.

adorable plant nursery, got seven houseplants from their greenhouse a few weeks back. incredible deal too — my calathea came with a free spider mite infestation! cheers to bigelow and their super healthy plants, all 36 of my beloved houseplants are now on death row and i wish i’d never gone.

but still two stars, because the customer service and selection were lovely.

We’ve “shopped” and more at Bigelows for over a decade and have always enjoyed the variety and quality of plants and flowers. The staff has been friendly and very helpful in finding varieties we want and offering suggestions and support with each new garden or upgrade we tackle. We’re just a family and community group and enjoy and appreciate Bigelows.

    Gone here twice:
Got two creeping foamflowers- didn’t survive the winter but I put them in a pretty dry spot and stopped watering after a while to seee if theh would be self sufficient
One flowering foamflower that still grows (put that one more into the wetlands) and is very pretty. Survived winter.

Two wood asters survived the winter too. They were very full when I bought them and are well adjusted to the environment I put them in (the same semi-dry environment the foamflowers were)

I just bought six more wood asters and had even less of a grace period for them to get off of my hand watering (like could only do it for 4 days after planting) and they are doing good. They will probably survive winter.

Great to replace spots of invasive plants with natives :)

This review is not to complain about the quality of the products. I have been purchasing plants from Bigelow for many years and quality has always been excellent. My issue is more with a business practice. Two days ago, I bought 4 expensive Holly trees for my yard. Again, the quality was excellent. I found out one day later that if I had purchased five of these trees, they would have been a $21 discount per a tree. I went back and asked if I could get the fifth tree and pay the difference, which in fact was another $105. I was told that because they were not all purchased the same day they could not honor the deal, even though it was only one to two days later. Again, I have no complaints about the quality of the products. I feel that Customer Service has something to be desired. I understand if I showed up weeks or months later asking for it, but it really was 24 to 48 hours. Thank you for your attention.

For the second day in a row, as a commercial customer, and as a 30 high end landscape professional, I have had an amazing experience purchasing from Bigelow Nurseries. We had to get an order filed quickly, for an important customer! From Nick in the sales staff, Robin at the desk, to Mr. Jimmy and the loading crews EVERYONE was GREAT, PROFESSIONAL, they wrapped my tree.... I'm honestly blown away by the speed, pricing, and quality product! Thank you very mulch!

I had them install carpet in my one story home with no stairs. They tried bringing in stàined carpet but I caught on before installation.

Great local service. Arrived on plan, did a great job. This is the second install by Gray's for us. Great people.

Amazing service. Prompt pick up and delivery. Affordable pricing. The high traffic, smelly old carpet was fresh, bright and clean like new

I had a carpet replaced in a very large room today. Very impressed with the quality and thoughtfulness of both the product and installers.
    Very pleased with the results!

Gray's carpet recently installed carpet for us and we couldn't be happier. After experiencing subpar service and install from a Big Box Store, we opted to stay local for our next two carpet installs. What can I say except, I will never go anywhere else. Thank you Grays Carpet for a job well done.

Great service, reasonable prices. Dropped off a wool 8x10 rug for cleaning (approx 15 years old). Ready within the week. Fresh and new looking!

I have used Gray's in the past to clean my oriental and braided rugs so decided to get pricing when I decided to have my wall to wall pulled out and a hardwood floor put in. Many reasons for choosing them; price, local business and reputation. What a great job they did. Love my new floor. Thanks Dave!
