I had them clean the dryer vent system in my house. Requires a professional and these folks were great!

My air conditioner was not working, so I called HVAC Service and they sent a technician to look at it. The tech was really friendly and helpful. He talked me through everything he did and explained the situation to me in simple terms I could understand. The repair only took about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with an AC problem!

They were absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and knowledgeable and explained everything about the process and showed us before and after photos which were amazing! They worked so hard! I had health issues prior to them coming out to clean the ducts and after a year of illness I started to finally improve after the ducts were cleaned.

I was sold a :"deal" for $300 wherein I could get 10% off any service. I was then quoted $650 to clean two ducts. They came and did a great job. However, I got charged $1,800 (after 10% discount) WAY over any competitive price. All for work that took one hour.
Then I wanted a roofer to do a patch. Their guy never showed. After I complained they never got back to me. Total rip off.

My experience with Petro has been absolutely fantastic! The women that answer the phones, Deb etc., are funny, pro, and down to earth. They give
me service the next day, come when they say, in a short window of time.
Clint was not the usual tech from my area, just there to help cover that day,
and he remembered me from a previous job company. Fixed the problem
quickly and explained what I should do in the future!!! The best!!! No hidden charges!!!

This has been a really great experience so far. I switched from another company (a really bad one) to Petro in January. They have been so responsive. I called for service problem at 9 p.m. and they came fixed it at 10:15 p.m. That's amazing. And this may be totally psychological, but I feel oil I got from Petro lasts longer compared with the other companies, too.

Really wanted to give them the benefit of doubt but this company continues to disappoint us. The last straw was when I just called customer service to discuss a question and Debbie yelled into the phone "I CAN'T HEAR YOU, LIKE AT ALL" and then slammed the phone hanging up on me. Do better Petro.

Petro has always been there when I needed them and my recent experience was no exception. The customer service line is always patient and thorough in getting the details of my issues and the service men diagnose problems quickly and fix them quickly. I have never waited more than a couple hours for them to arrive. They are thoughtful cleaning up behind themselves and especially in these Covid times take the precautions that made me feel comfortable with them in my home.

Unfortunately, I am a tenant and not the person who holds the account, otherwise I would dump this company in a heartbeat. We haven’t had heat for two days and they now tell me it’s going to be two more days before they can even tell me if they can get the part needed to fix it. Phone call after phone call I have been lied to, being told over and over that someone was going to come fix it in the next hour. It would take too long to explain everything that has happened but take it from me. Run for the hills away from this company.

UPDATE:
2 technicians came back today and fixed. They were knowledgeable and gave me very clear information about what was wrong and what needs to happen. The technicians are great guys but the customer service department is still a nightmare. Still can’t increase my rating because it shouldn’t take a 1 Star review to get someone who knows what they are doing to fix your problem.

Advice to management: your technicians are good, but they can’t do their jobs unless the customer service and dispatch do their jobs correctly. It’s not fair to them to have to deal with the irate customers who are angry because of your incompetence.

This company like many others that offer contract home delivery....should be only an option for it...
I have old people in the family that get charged excess and penalty from non payment and then they charge $400 because of deliquent payment what a way to stick it to older retired people on fixed income ..perhaps it's not the way to do business to penalize people when u should know automatic delivery only benefits the Petro company and other that do the same ..I had stopped buying oil when my oil place decided to go to automatic delivery only ...now I deal with that online company in Norton Mass...
The CEO of this Petro company must be a greedy guy take into consideration the ages of older retired people because you charge too much to deliver oil on automatic your not doing anyone a great service to the community..if I could give it 0 stars I would

The service techs came early and stayed late to install my new ductless air system. It was a hard job and they worked tirelessly for almost ten hours, without complaint. They were friendly and informative. I highly recommend Petro, and especially Kevin and Ron for their professionalism and efficiency.

We are due for a new burner, and have been discussing this big purchase. We foolishly asked, during our annual clean out, if we purchased from another provider would they still service it (they seem to be more expensive than others). They said yes, of course. But just days later suddenly the burner stops working, despite having had no issues previously. Now we have to get quotes in immediately or be forced to purchase from them. Coincidence?! Perhaps. Perhaps not. Convenient at least.

Buyer beware!!! My MIL from Plymouth MA went w this co after Dunlap sold. Was paying over inflated oil prices- but worse- had fall maintenance- was told needed new furnace as cracks and CO2 leaking and a new flu for chimney. Had TWO 2nd opinions w licensed plumbers- no cracks in unit - flu intact. A scam to take advantage of an older couple. This would’ve cost them over $10k!!! Same thing happened last year- w different issues- and they went ahead w repairs. Run - don’t walk away- they will rip you off too!

Very professional and knowledgeable. Had 3 people come out and look at my boiler and petro fixed it in 2 minutes. Highly recommend going with petro.

Please don’t fly down my street at 6:45 in the morning on a Saturday. Not once, but twice.
