Everyone I spoke with and worked with was very friendly but I don't think I will use the service again. We had a drain clog and received an estimate of 399 to fix. They were in and out and the drain worked okay for about ten days and then it was clogged again. They came back out and ran the snake again but it was not unclogged when I ran water later that day. The office then quoted 299 just to assess what the problem was with a snake camera. So altogether it was essentially as if it would cost 700 just to see what was wrong with the drain. We used some ten dollar pipe guard liquid plumber and that fixed everything, haven't had issues since. Again the business employees are all very friendly but I would not use the business again. Sorry.

Always late and lacks good communication. I understand things happen and jobs sometimes take longer than expected but communication is key. I would not be writing this review had the plumber called me in advance to let me know he was going to be 1 hour late. He was scheduled to be at my home between 8am-12pm. He called me at 12:10pm to let me know he was 40 minutes away. Completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. This was the second time (2 out of 3) different appointments this happened. If your a person who likes their time to be respected, I would not recommend Prometheus Home Services.

Owner was very responsive, however my experience with Prometheus Home Services included (i) missed appointments with no communication, (ii) $400 worth of fees which didn't fix my issue and (iii) an additional $800+ quote after the issued remained to perform other work to attempt to resolve the problem via a full shower replacement.

Ultimately, I got a second quote from another plumber who fixed the problem by replacing a single part at 1/3 of the cost. I'm glad that I did as the only other option provided by Prometheus Home Services would have led to more unnecessary fees and overly invasive work that wasn't needed to fix my shower.

Gill and Allan did a great job, very respectful and knowledgeable. Did my main water installation without any issues. Jeremy was very pleasant , did the assessment quickly and helped me with another plumbing issue even after hours I will recommended this company anytime

Prometheus did a great job replacing many rusting pipes and as well as correcting a venting mistake with my boiler in the basement. They were really communicative, were easy to schedule with, and did great work. Their pricing was reasonable as well! I will be using them again in the future whenever needed!

The two technicians were amazing! I’ve had multiple companies do work on my home in the last 2 months, so I was very skeptical. This company and these technicians were awesome and put my fears at ease! My basement had water in it after all the rain we had, despite the $14,000 drainage system I JUST had done with another company. They came in, answered all my questions and were extremely honest with me. They were on time, friendly and respectful. They even answered every question my parents had because they were there when I had to work. I got an appointment right away and everything looks perfect! I would totally Recommend this company!!!

Extremely pricey! The crew was timely and did a good job in replacing a shut-off valve. The estimate was higher than other plumbers but due to high scores I decided to go with Prometheus. When the person gave the estimate, he estimated the labour to be 2hrs for 2 people. It took less than 20 minutes to complete the job. The service was good and professional but it was extremely over priced.

Had an emergency gas leak right before selling my property. Christian and his team came out within 12 hours and fixed the repair and I was able to close on the property.

Many thanks for the help. I would highly recommend for all plumbing needs.

Jay was fantastic with his work and was very quick to follow up. Very professional and was able to clean up the mess created by a previous plumber who was not good at all. He came in and helped straightaway and fixed our pump. Would definitely recommend

I used Prometheus for bathroom shower and bath trim + shower valve install, re-caulking toilette and install Kitchen sink, water filter and food disposal. They are very responsive, on time and they want the best for their clients. The estimate process was fair and detailed. They work around to fix issue from a previous plumber. Ask for Guil and Alan they are the best you can get among all the crew. They worked quick, they went beyond in making sure the quality of the install was top notch before leaving ! highly recommend

I recently had the pleasure of using a plumbing service for both dishwasher and range installation, as well as gas piping, and I couldn't be more impressed! Prometheus was awesome. Our sump pump died and our basement was flooding. They were extremely responsive and was able to get a new one and install it within 3 hours of me reaching out. Jeremy was great, knowledgeable and quick. We are thankful for their help!!

I used Prometheus to replace my Hot Water Tank. They were very responsive, and were able to come out the same day. HOWEVER- I am VERY disappointed with the quality and service.

When they originally replaced the tank, they left a big mess in my basement and the water tank- they did not take it away. Then, I called, and they came back a few days later to remove.

Within 5 days, the hot water stopped working. They sent someone out to service it, and they seemed to fix it. They assured me it would continue to work.

About a week later, it stopped working. They sent someone else out, and again, assured me they fixed the problem. It worked for a couple days and broke again.

Now, I am without hot water, and every time a technician comes out, they tell me something different. This is an expensive thing to replace, and with the cost/expense I would expect a better service.

All of the technicians have been super nice and they are usually really quick to come out- but it's really been disappointing. I would never use them again.

I appreciated their professionalism. With a photo of the plumbing problem, they provided a very reasonable, fair quote and promised to come out the next day. Upon arrival, the technician was personable and handled the problem efficiently. I will definitely call them again with any plumbing issues my old house has. This is by far the best plumber we ever found in Massachusetts! En even in the Europe !
For years we have been struggling (and not giving up) to find someone wiling to replace one piece of
plumbing into our antique toilet (without destroying this magnificent piece of art or breaking the bank).
We had estimates from local companies like 123 plumbing at 2000$ for tearing down the thing (we didn’t want to tear apart) and ripping us off at the same time.
Jay came (for free - 123 plumbing = 50$ fee for moving the truck) , he saw and gave us a very reasonable estimate on what we wanted = replace this piece (see photo).
In 2 hours it was done ✅!

AMAZING SERVICE! 3 days before Christmas, when other contractors could not get here until AFTER the New Year - Prometheus was here in less than 24 hours of my call - with the replacement Water Heater! They vacuumed up the water that leaked out overnight, installed the new tank AND even labeled the Water Heater switch on my electrical panel.

I would 100% recommend and will use them again!

Hired them from Thumbtack and they lied about pulling a permit to install a new heating system. They cashed my check but didn't deliver. My tenants are still without heat and it's approaching two months.
Unprofessional, dishonest and wouldn'trecommend them.

What an amazing transformation from seeing unsightly septic tank covers to a beautiful green lawn. The Rotondi team worked very hard digging and removing the old system then connecting new pipes with extreme detail and precision. They even groomed and seeded a new lawn for me. Incredible to watch great workmanship in action.
