Murphy Fuel did a great job installing our mini split system last fall. Terry and the team were professional, responsive, and kept everything on schedule from start to finish.

Our setup was large and had a complicated layout, but they handled it without any issues. During the estimate and planning phase, Terry was especially accommodating—he took the time to walk through options with us and was flexible when we decided to change the originally planned locations. That level of patience and willingness to adapt really stood out.

After the installation, they even came back to make sure everything was working properly, which we really appreciated. Overall, a smooth experience and a team that clearly cares about doing things right. Would definitely recommend.

I been a long time customer - Murphy Fuel does a great job - They tune up my system every year and I never have to call for a fill up. I would recommend them for your heating needs!! Good people

I purchased oil from them a month ago, a full tank, and was supposed to be their regular customer. They said they would come to tune up, but nobody showed up until yesterday.

The guy said my fuel tank needs to be refilled. I couldn't believe it at the beginning since it was filled 34 days ago only. When I looked at the gauge, only a little over a quarter of the tank was full, which means I have to spend around $1000 per month for heating. I asked how it was even possible since my house is only 1000 square feet, and I turn on heat only evenings after coming home from work. He said I needed to tune up. I said I wouldn't do business with you again.

And this morning, they called me to schedule to tune up. I said it was too late. I went to their office and dropped the check and asked them if spending $1000 a month for heat was even normal. They seriously said it was normal and expected me to believe that...

They don't keep their words, and honestly I don't know what kind of fuel they serve. I don't trust them and am taking my business elsewhere. They lost a customer today.

I suggest you not even bother yourself to call them!!!

I arrived at a cat sitting client's house and they didn't have any heat or hot water. The temperature in the house was 57 so it was starting to get very cold! I noticed that they were customers of Murphy Fuel and I called them around 5:30pm on a Saturday. They were at the house within 20 minutes! Tim Murphy, the owner of the company, worked until 10:45pm to fix the problem! We were all very grateful to have heat and hot water again! I was very impressed with their customer service, the fast response time, and dedication that Tim has for his customers!

10/10 would recommend. They were very responsive the entire time from the initial call to the quote and installation. They were also competitive in pricing from the several companies I reached out to.

I can’t say enough good things about Murphy Fuel. I’ve been doing business with them since moving to Waltham over 35 years ago. When I’ve needed service, they arrive promptly (one time during a snowstorm!) and have been most helpful in selecting new equipment (a new furnace c. 30 years ago, and mini-splits this past summer). Also, everyone who works there is friendly and respectful. I strongly recommend them for all your HVAC needs.
