We have been using Murphy Fuel services for nearly 40 years and have been totally satisfied. In our Weston house, they not only delivered our oil, but installed a new boiler and burner. In our current Sudbury residence they added additional zones to our hot air system, maintains our ancient A/C, services our oil burner and always tops up the oil with competitive prices. Wonderful and honest. Highly recommend!

Anytime Annis comes to service our heating system he is pleasant and efficient. This past winter Annis and Tim replaced our cooling system. Annis quickly returned this spring to inspect and activate
the system. I am always pleased with Murphy Fuel Corp's interest in keeping these systems functioning well.

25 year old central air conditioner died and after two weeks of trying to get a quote from a different company called Murphy's who has been our oil delivery for years. Came out the next day and had a quote soon thereafter. Was put on the schedule almost immediately and had a brand new and working unit within a week of the first call. Highly recommended !

Rude, arrogant, won't work with them

I've worked with Genove in many capacities and locations... heating oil deliveries for my apartment in Brighton, A/C service for my home in Waltham, and most recently for A/C service for my whole condo building in West Roxbury. They've provided consistent service, communicate well, and the guys they send to do the work are incredibly professional and polite. Often times there's a disconnect between quality and customer service between the home office and the team that performs the work, but not with Genove. I'm a very harsh critic, and I can't recommend them enough. They recently bent their own rules and serviced our entire condo building despite it being the type of property they don't typically work with. They also made it easy for our whole building to be serviced on the same day (7 units), and worked with us on price. I have to stretch to find any constructive criticism, but the only thing they might be able to improve is their approach on the phone. It sounds like the person you talk to is very busy so you may find yourself speed talking. There's also a lot of background noise, so I picture the guy on the phone standing in front of the oil tankers as they're filling up their trucks. That said, they're patient and polite, but their phone location could probably be moved to a better place.

Thank you for the exceptional installation of our new air conditioning system. Your crew came on time, as scheduled. They were very neat and careful removing the old system and installing the new one.

Frank did a great job beforehand talking about the choices and listening to what we wanted, and gave us the right advice about what to choose (which was not what I had originally thought we wanted).

The first season was flawless, and I have to add that we were shocked by how much less electricity the new system uses than our mid-1990s central system used.

We had an issue with our heating on one of the coldest days this winter. I called Genove and they were very responsive and had someone out to our house that morning. Frank came out and was friendly and knowledgeable and fixed the issue very quickly. I highly recommend Genove Oil & Air.

In general I don't write reviews unless it's been long enough to verify how good the service is on the long run. After almost a year being serviced by Genove I think they're absolutely great is terms of transparency, honesty and decency. They've got good people working for decades and it says a lot. But what really surprised me is the fact that when my burner died and I called in at 10pm, I got a call back in 5 minutes and a guy tried to troubleshoot it over the phone with me for half an hour - kudos!

Genove Oil & Air has been our heating system and AC/heat pump oil provider and maintenance service company for probably 20 years now. They always come through for us, even during some tough late night and weekend emergencies when their 24-hour service was truly wonderful. The latest was when the sight glass for monitoring radiator system water level broke and started pouring water onto the basement floor. They responded very quickly and repaired the damage even though it was at night on the weekend. This is typical of the service they provide, whether regular maintenance or on an as-needed basis.

Shawn came by to do our first oil furnace tune-up. This is my first time living in a house with oil heat, and Shawn was incredibly patient with my many questions. He did a great job maintaining our heating system and also gave us all the guidance we need to keep it running smoothly. We also got a great deal on heating oil from Genove that includes free parts and labor in case anything goes wrong. Highly recommend!

The folks are Genove are excellent. They installed our new furnace and AC over 2 days. When we were having some back drafting issues with our water heater, they came out same day to look into and fix the issue.
