Our experience with Healthy Duct was fantastic. We are new to the area, so it was reassuring to have people like healthy duct help us navigate all of the issues with our new (but very old) home. More than how much they did for our ducts (the before after pictures were drastic), they connected us to others that could help with other projects and treated us like family. We will definitely be using them again.

We had Healthy Duct Services clean two HVAC systems in our home. The customer service was excellent — the technicians were on time, respectful, and clearly explained the work they were doing.

That said, we feel we were significantly overcharged. The total cost was over $5,000 for what turned out to be fairly routine duct cleaning. As first-time homeowners, we trusted the recommendation without realizing how inflated the pricing was compared to industry norms. After doing some research, it’s clear the work didn’t require anything unusual to justify that kind of price.

To make matters worse, it didn’t improve airflow to the room we were most concerned about, which was part of why we agreed to the service in the first place.

We’d encourage other homeowners — especially those new to this — to get a few quotes and ask specific questions about the scope and pricing before moving forward.

I'm a professional organizer in the Boston area. I found Healthy Ducts while working with a client who had a mold infestation throughout her home. Everyone on their staff is highly professional and responsive. In the free consultation, they provided quality information that not only informed how we approached the ducts but the entire HVAC system. They care about what they do and the difference they make in people's homes and man, do they deliver! I'd give them six stars if I could.

John and Berk came to our house for a duct cleaning service and we couldn't be happier with the experience. They performed extremely high quality work and I truly appreciate their honesty in assessing that only one of our two systems needed cleaning. I was home with my two young kids while they were there and I felt very comfortable with their presence in my home. They were both incredibly kind humans who really care about their work and the people they're serving. We will definitely have them back to do the second system--highly recommend!

Berk and Henry arrived and gave their very honest opinion that cleaning did not need to happen for this system due to several circumstances. John and Henry came by to help checkout some smells my wife and I were detecting from our HVAC vents. They were able to fit us into their schedule, were incredibly thorough and communicative the whole time they were here and helped us pin point the issue, which was a better filter for our air handler more so than a full duct cleaning service. It’s so refreshing to come across such honest, professional and caring experts in this field!! I know that when I eventually will need a duct cleaning service I have found our guys!!!

John and team are fantastic. great communication and amazing honest service. They came to my house- I was certain I needed cleaning, and they said nope looks clean! They fixed a minor unrelated issue at no charge. These are good honest hardworking folks. So hard to find these days, many companies with less integrity would have performed unneeded service and charges thousands. Support this business and these wonderful people. As new homeowners, we wanted to ensure our HVAC system was clean and well-maintained but weren’t sure where to start. We’re so glad we found John and his team at Healthy Duct. John was incredibly responsive, kind, and knowledgeable, which immediately put us at ease. He and Berk were respectful while in our home and quickly identified and resolved the issues they found. They took detailed pictures, walked us through the improvements, and explained everything we needed to know moving forward. As a bonus, they were wonderful with our dog, who happily devoured the treat they brought for her. We — dog included — would gladly welcome them back anytime. This crew came for an assessment of my heating and cooling ventilation system. They did a great job of explaining how the system worked and did not try and sell hard. Super professional and knowledgeable

Five stars. Berk was point person for a very professional three person team (also included Max and Henry) Very informative, thorough and careful.
They found air leaks and extra gaps and other areas that needed to be sealed. And before they left, they put temporary seals on all openings to avoid getting any additional construction dust in the newly cleaned ducts/ engine. They worked well on a busy job site.

John and Henry were totally professional and clearly care about their work. Cleaning ducts may not be a glamorous home maintenance expense, but we care about our home and the health and maintenance of our HVAC system is an important investment and worth the expense.

We moved into a condo that had been flipped by a developer 5 years ago and never had the ducts cleaned. I reached out to several local companies and Healthy Duct was so great to work with. They were extremely responsive on the phone and via text. John answered all my questions and thoroughly explained the process. Of course, they’re so busy (for a reason!) and it was a few weeks before we could get an assessment done, but they did put us on a cancellation list.

Berk and Henry came, were super respectful, clean and informative. They were honest about our cleaning, showed pictures and once again, explained everything very well. We were very pleased with the whole process from start to finish and would highly recommend Healthy Duct. They’re a great local company and care deeply about what they do. After the job was done, they sent before and after photos as well!

(And they love pets! They gave us a little doggie treat for our girl, even tho she wasn’t home to greet them!)

Excellent experience with Healthy Duct cleaning service. I recently bought a new home and was concerned about the cleanliness of the heating and AC system. Based upon reviews, I called Healthy Duct and they were professional from the first call. Three men, Berk, Max, and Henry were in my house for several hours. They explained every part of the process ahead of time. Then cleaned all the ducks, vents, grates and the dryer line. They patched areas on the heating unit where air was escaping. They did not leave a speck of dust or dirt on any floor. Berk even gave me advice on prolonging my old AC unit. I wish all service people could be as good and professional as this company. I highly recommend them! Oh, and I’m able to run the A/C less because it is working so much better!

I cannot say enough about the impressive expertise, dedicated professionalism, and extraordinarily caring customer service I have experienced with Healthy Duct Property Services. As an immunocompromised cancer patient a professionally sanitized house was essential.
John is deep into the science of air quality and has invested in a negative air pressure machine to contain every micron of dust or mold extracted from an HVAC system. He examined, evaluated and scrubbed every inch of the two systems in the house with full photo documentation. These people are the gold standard…clearly what we want to maintain a healthy home in a toxic world.

Hired the Healthy Duct team after speaking with John several times. He and the team seemed very honest and professional - I felt like I could trust them, and I liked that they followed an industry standard that they are certified in. They seemed to do good work and worked seamlessly with my HVAC co to clean as I was having my HVAC replaced. Very reliable and approachable.

I had gotten an over-the-phone quote from another highly reviewed duct cleaning company who said they could come out the next week, while Healthy Duct told me that they wanted to do a (free) site evaluation before giving me a quote, but that they were booked up for over another month. I decided to wait to get a quote from Healthy Duct before deciding, and they ended up coming earlier due to a cancellation so it wasn't actually month, and I'm very glad I did. When they looked at/in my home's ducts they told me that they really weren't very dirty and don't need to be cleaned. They gave then me some more information about duct cleaning, showed me pictures of my ducts, explained how they reached that decision, and instructed me on how long it'd likely be before I actually DO need them cleaned.

So yeah, they saved me $1,300 or more by having good and honest business practices. I'm glad I waited. And now, when I DO need my ducts cleaned in a couple of years I will undoubtedly give them a call.

They also put some metallic tape on one of my vents where the duct had slightly detached (for free), which was nice.

Cleaning our HVAC and dryer ductwork was long overdue. I called healthy ducts because they had a 5.0 rating. John was knowledgeable and helpful and we had him come over to assess. He and his assistant were thorough and we hired them. They were excellent, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. We agreed that their prior rating are well deserved. We have already recommended them to family.

This company is amazing. They are very professional. Showed up at my house in which I have owned for 11+ yrs and have never had my duct work cleaned. They didn't judge just suggested and were not pushy. They allowed me to call my roommate to discuss pricing and what was involved. They were also very diligent about my 3 crazy cats and even left them treats. Thank you.
