We had a plumbing emergency (discovered house to street was blocked) on Sunday night and John’s Sewer & Drain Cleaning quickly came to our rescue. Aidan Morgan (no relation) came within 30 minutes of my call and was very nice, professional and efficient. He solved what could have been a disastrous situation in our basement (sewage backup)! Thank you!

John's Sewer does a great job - they came out in an emergency a few years ago and then I had them back for preventative drain cleaning today (we have a lot of old growth trees, so our pipes get small roots in them). It was easy to schedule. Aidan was right on time today and was fantastic - he had everything cleaned and perfect and we should be in great shape for another few years! I highly recommend.

We had an issue with our kitchen sink on Sunday. John’s Sewer & Drain Cleaning came out and after less than an hour the issue was resolved. The tech was prompt, professional and thorough with his inspection and resolution. We certainly will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

I called yesterday and they were able to come out the next day to help with a clogged pipe.

I'm really happy to recommend John's Sewer & Drain. We had a backup which was cleared a week or so ago, but we were warned by the technician that if it backed up again, he'd recommend the camera service. As always happens, It did on an early weekend evening - the worst time, right? No. John's Sewer answered the call and had a highly experienced Paul Kelly on site withing 90 minutes on a Satruday night. Incredible. Paul was fantastic. He stuck with it, explaining things along the way. And with the help of the camera service, he got us cleared and made a recommendation for follow up job which would save us thousands. Had used a competitor a few years back for a sewer main drain clean out. Listened to them tell me all these expensive things were wrong and I needed to buy their company drain cleaner. Fast forward to today- and had Aidan help me with a major backup. He was on time, super professional, honest and an all around great representative of your company. You are lucky to have him and I will 100% look to call for him if I have any issues in the future. I have already made recommendations to friends to call John’s for drain cleaning needs. It’s awesome to have “a guy” - Aidan and John’s are my go to now!

I had the pleasure of working with Aidan to address a clogged sewer line. He was super prompt (arrived within a few hours of calling) even on a holiday weekend. He explained everything so clearly, and only applied the services he felt I needed to solve the issue. He is a gem of a guy and felt lucky to have him given the unfortunate situation. Wanted to thank John,s Sewer for the outstanding professional work they did for a nightmare project im on and in progress . We had a situation were cement got in many drain lines as a result of having inexperienced cement floor company on the job hired through G.C. iv been in the trade for 50 yrs. and have never had a more sever problem . The floor company used the wrong concrete had to rip out the floor they put in , not once but twice sending the project over the expected turn over date . it was a disaster which turned very very costly . With the help from John,s Sewer we were able to clear all the pipes that were filled with concrete , but sub floor concrete had to be saw cut . ripped out , and remove and replace piping , im talking 12 out of 22 floor drains and shower drains that are all cast iron pipping so this was no easy task by any means . After rescheduling their busy appointments to accommodate our needs and knowing what we were up against they were able to get done what needed to be done without further delaying the project by having to cut up more flooring or removing more pipping , they were able remove and existing cement that was in the pipping ultimately saving thousands of dollars to the project. They were truly a god send , Not only was the response from the company for getting there when we needed on short notice , but most importantly , the professionalism ,workmanship and knowledge of what their technician applied . his name is Paul Kelly Tech. #300. Working together with him , trying different approaches he was able to get done what needed to be done . Having a person like Paul representing the company is worth his weight in gold !! Its tough these days to find an employee as Paul to go over and above to get it done , done right and represent his company with high standards that employers look for . Great job , fantastic person with pride in what he does ,great communication skills . John,s Sewer should be very happy and proud to have someone like Paul on their team and this is what sets the standard for them from other sewer companies . Had Johns sewer come out for an emergency main line clog in a commercial building. They sent Paul who was very professional and knowledgeable. He showed up within 30 mins of calling, did his job efficiently and even cleaned up after himself. Always a pleasure working with Johns, highly recommended.

Called for help with a backed up kitchen sink. They came two hours later, were very friendly, and solved the issue at a reasonable price. Would definitely call again.

Tom and Paul Kelly are absolutely outstanding! We’ve had recurring issues with roots in our sewer line and have used their services twice. Tom is consistently kind, helpful, and reassuring that the problem will be handled promptly—and he always follows through. When he said he’d send one of his best guys, he meant it!

Paul went above and beyond! He called ahead to let me know his previous job was running a bit over, which I really appreciated. When he arrived, he immediately got to work and clearly explained what was happening and why the issue keeps recurring. He also discovered a crack where the pipe is settling, which will need to be addressed. Paul was friendly, funny, and professional throughout. He recommended pipe lining to prevent future problems, and I’ve already requested that he be the one to handle the work when we move forward next spring.

I’m so grateful for the outstanding service and genuine care Tom and Paul provide—they’ve earned my complete trust.

We had an issue with a clog in the main drain line in our condo unit. It occurred on a holiday weekend and Aidan was able to come out within 45 minutes to diagnose and resolve the issue. Very friendly and did a thorough job testing the lines to make sure everything was cleared out. Wrote detailed notes for receipt to send to the condo. Would recommend.

Called John’s Sewer to fix a blockage in my kitchen sink. The blockage came back and they promptly sent another technician (Aidan Morgan) out to resolve it.
Aidan was fantastic… he did a great and thorough job cleaning out the clogged area in my basement -where the PVC drain pipe connects to the cast iron pipe. He took his time and did it right. Then he filled the kitchen sink with water to test that everything was working smoothly before he left. I felt confident that the job had been done well. I highly recommend John’s Drain Service and Aidan Morgan is one of their best technicians!

Chris Wall is a lifesaver – Highly recommended!

Last week, we had a serious sewer emergency where wastewater backed up and overflowed into our home. The first plumbing company we called got their snake machine stuck inside our pipe and eventually abandoned it there. A second company came out but couldn’t do anything either.

Then Chris Wall from John’s Sewer & Drain Cleaning came to the rescue.

He carefully inspected the situation, located the main manhole on the street, removed heavy tree roots tangled in the line, and—amazingly—retrieved the snake tool that had been left behind inside our pipe.

The tool had folded inside the pipe, making it extremely difficult to remove. During the process, a large amount of sewage and debris spilled onto him. Watching this was honestly painful, and I kept apologizing, but he just smiled and said, *“This is my job. I’ll just take a shower when I get home.”*

He didn’t stop there. He used a camera to inspect the line thoroughly and even returned another day to clear the remaining blockage near the manhole to make sure everything was fully resolved.

Beyond his nearly 20 years of experience, what truly impressed me was his professionalism, calm attitude, and genuine dedication to doing the job right. Compared to the previous technicians, the difference was night and day.

Just as you need a great doctor when you’re sick, you need a truly great technician when serious problems happen at home. I am deeply grateful to Chris and cannot recommend him highly enough.

If you’re dealing with any sewer or drain issue, ask for Chris Wall. You won’t regret it.

We had a kitchen sink clog Thanksgiving Eve. I called Thanksgiving day to leave a message hoping someone would be able to come out sometime on Friday. Chris called at 7:20 a.m. Friday morning and said he was on his way and would arrive in 30 minutes!! He arrived right on time. He was very courteous. Quickly assessed the problem and got it resolved very quickly. He was done, cleaned up the area, and was on his way in 8:15 a.m.!! I am extremely happy with the quick response and quality of service from Chris and John’s Drains!! HIGHLY recommend them!! Thank you!

We had a clog in our main drain and had water backing up into the first floor and basement. Called John's Sewer and Drain Cleaning for their emergency service and Homero gave us an ETA and arrived promptly and addressed the clog professionally. Great service! Thank you so much; would recommend to anyone in a similar situation!

We had an issue with our septic pipes and John's was great. Aidan came first thing in the next morning and cleared up our issues. He was very nice, quick and cleaned everything as soon as he was done. The service was reasonably priced for the work done and I'm very happy with the service provided.

I just had John’s Sewer & Drain Cleaning out for some maintenance work on my drainage system, and the experience was outstanding. Mike (#312) arrived within a few hours of my call to inspect the main sewer line from my house to the city street sewer. He thoroughly explained their video inspection service and how it takes a close look at the sewer line, keeping an eye out for clogs, cracks in the underground pipes, and tree roots breaking through the pipe. He walked me through the entire process and even provided a USB stick of the video when he was finished.

The inspection showed everything was clear, so there was no need for additional cleaning or to pay for any other services, which was something I really appreciated. Mike was genuinely committed to making sure I only paid for services I actually needed. It’s rare to find someone so honest, caring, and focused on helping things run smoothly without unnecessary costs. Their honesty and transparency were truly refreshing.

While he was here, he also snaked our bathroom drain, which had been draining very slowly, and that process was quick and pleasant.

The name to know when your drains don’t flow — and they just proved it again.

I could tell we were heading toward a full-blown main sewer line disaster at one of our rental properties, so I called John’s Sewer & Drain first thing Saturday morning hoping for help before things got… unpleasant.

Within about 2½ hours, their tech Paul Kelly was already on site and ready for battle.

Paul was awesome — super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly someone who takes pride in doing the job right. He walked through the issue, explained everything, and handled the whole situation like a pro from start to finish. He even made sure everything was well cleaned up before he left (which, given the nature of sewer work, deserves an extra five stars on its own).

As someone who manages rental properties, having a company that shows up quickly and sends technicians like Paul is priceless.

I’ve used John’s Sewer & Drain before and never had a bad experience, but this one was next level. It was a great reminder of why they truly are the name to know when your drains don’t flow.
