Great and fast service! I had someone from another company tell me that my furnace could not be repaired. After Tony discovered that the other contractor cut all the wires and sensors off of my furnace, he put everything back together and my furnace is running better than it has in years!!!

I highly recommend his company to anyone. He is an honest businessman and trustworthy as well.

Tony was amazing! He was at our house within 2 hours of me calling in an issue with our furnace. Immediately diagnosed the problem and gave us a (very fair) quote. We scheduled an appointment for him to come out today, he showed up on time and replaced the part super quickly. Afterward he gave my husband and I a ton of advice to prolong the life of our 17 year old furnace. Didn’t try to sell us any additional services, and went out of his way to give us valuable advice as first time homeowners. Highly highly recommend.

Thanks Tony for your hard work on my furnace. Before I call Tony i had a quote on a new furnace and it was out of my budget. I was referred to Tony by a friend, after talking to him i noticed he is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He quoted me with a different model (LENNOX) with the same warranty and efficiency and the best part was the price he gave me. 2 days later the furnace was up and working perfect. I even hired him on the spot to clean the air ducts as well. Good job Tony

I was referred to Air Duct Advance by a good friend who had a new furnace installed. He said Tony did a good job, was honest and affordable. I have to agree. Tony was upfront with me when he gave me my free estimate. After doing my research I called Tony back and had him put in a new furnace and then l later came back to him for freon for my AC. Tony was always quick to pick up the phone and was great with working around my schedule. My furnace has so much more power than my old one and my AC is working better than ever!

Tony is extremely honest and thorough and really knows what he is doing. His prices are fair and he addressed issues with our ductwork we didn't even know we had when he replaced our furnace. He fixed our old furnace a few years ago very inexpensively and he took the time to give us a detailed estimate of the cost of repair this time too instead of just saying the furnace is way too old just replace it and rushing out. The price of the new furnace was very fair and done quickly. Great company.

I cannot say how wonderful this service was. I am beyond impressed. Tony, the tech who came out, was knowledgeable, professional and polite. I could tell he truly cared about his work and making certain that my furnace was fixed properly- he even went above and beyond by getting the part the same day and staying late so we wouldn’t be without heat. If you are looking for expert, skilled professionals these are your guys. 5+ stars.

Tony installed a furnace for me just recently, he was on time , professional, and very informative. Tony even went above and beyond as to show me where a lot of leaks were in my system and he and his assistant sealed them all, his prices are very reasonable and the quality instal only added to the value, I will b referring him to all of my family and friends that might need him

We have been dealing with Air Duct Advance for over 10 years. Tony is very knowledgeable, professional and always ensures the job is doing efficiently. I have recommended him to family and friends who have also utilized his services. He does an excellent job every time!

Just be careful. I had a troubling experience using Tony for a water heater replacement. I asked for an estimate. He said he wouldn't know the cost of the tank until the next morning when he got it at "the warehouse" b/c of tariffs. He said the job would 6-7hrs. I asked why. He said he'd have to do adjustments but didn't provide much detail.

My wife and I were concerned that we wouldn't be home if it took that long. He then pivoted, saying it might only be 1-2hrs depending on what he found when he began. We understood this to mean the estimate was dependent on cost of tank and time of labor.

Next morning he began around 11am. I asked how much he paid for the tank. He said around $780; $900 after tax plus pipe. The box had a Home Depot label. I looked it up & found it for $579 on their website (basic Rheem 40-gal tank w/ 6yr warranty). I brought this to his attention. He said it was more expensive at his warehouse b/c if we needed any parts it would be faster that way.

I didn't follow the logic plus it was a Home Depot product purchased thru a 3rd-party wholesaler meaning he likely paid less than the listed price.

He finished by 1pm. I asked for total cost, allowing for the likely price gouging on the tank, thinking the estimate would come down for a 2hr job instead of 6-7. He said the price stood. I said I thought the estimate depended on the cost of the tank and time. He said he waited in line, had to pay his helper and only stood to make $600 ($300/hour) for my job.

I plead with him. I am a repeat customer with multiple properties and intended to use him again. He stuck with the amount saying it was fair and that I was paying for his knowledge & that’s why it took 2 hours instead of 7.

Then something happened that I still don’t understand. Tony told me it was important that if inspected I don’t mention he did any work. I was shocked & asked why. He said the furnace was installed wrong. I asked him to explain how & what this had to do with the water heater. He only pointed at the chimney and said it's done wrong but wouldn’t explain further. Outside he said our chimney stack was missing a cap. I said there was a screen in it. He said I was wrong and that it needed to be fixed.

Seeing no option I paid him the full amount of the original estimate. When he left I found he had put a large Air Duct Advance sticker on the furnace. If he didn't want it known he did the water heater & there was something wrong with the furnace, why would he do this?

If you take the cost of the water heater from Home Depot plus tax and round up for additional material that is $700. That would mean I paid him $550/hr labor. If he paid less thru the warehouse I paid closer to $600/hr.

I later called Tony to ask for the tank receipt for registration. He said I didn't need it for that. I asked to see it anyway. He said he couldn't show me b/c his account number was on it. I said cover that part up. He told me that no customer had ever asked him for a receipt before & that it upset him that I wanted to see it.

I am not saying do not hire Tony. Everyone should come to their own conclusion. I hope he did OK work on the install regardless of him saying not to tell anyone he did it. Make your own choice but be aware of the tactics he might use to drive up the cost or scare you into getting work you might not actually need.

Make sure that when you ask for an estimate, it is exactly that, something subject to change based on actual labor and cost of material. If you trust him to provide the product then I suggest you make it known upfront you would like the receipt for all parts. Otherwise I suggest you buy your own product and then agree to a quote for the cost of install; no funny business about it could take 1 hour or 7 but I have to charge you for 7.

Hopefully sharing this experience will help another family avoid this scenario. If there is a Reply by Owner I stand by everything I have shared here. No part of this has been fabricated or exaggerated to make a point.

North Wind is always prompt, reasonable, and doesn't sell you something you don't need. They always do thier best and are capable of repairing vs just replacing. Great company!! We have been a customer for many years. Tony
