We woke up this morning with no hot water and we knew it was time to replace our hot water tank. I called North Winds because they had previously replaced our a/c unit and furnace and we were extremely happy with the work and price. My 3:30pm in the afternoon the work was complete. It only took them an hour to do the job and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend this company to anyone although I hope that I won’t have to call them back for at least a few years:)

North Wind came out within a couple days of my first call and gave me the best quote by far. They installed a new AC unit for me in half a day despite it being 88° in the attic. Ed is very honest and real.

I couldn't be more thankful for this company. We just had a sudden loss in the family and my mom experienced an inconvenience leak in her hot water heater. We called North Wind and Carrie was so patient and kind on the phone. She was very informative and super friendly. They came out that day and replaced the hot water heater. It was one less thing my mom had to deal with. I recommend this company!! Well worth it and super friendly staff!

North Wind was great to work with. We were having problems with our existing furnace during the holidays. North Wind came out on a Friday to discuss a new Furnace/AC, and provide an estimate. They understood the need, and offered to complete the installation on the next day. By Saturday afternoon we were up and running with a new furnace. No additional labor charge for the weekend work. The crew was very professional and did an awesome job.

Over the last 20 years North Wind Heating & Air Conditioning has taken excellent care of our residental home in so many ways. They installed our brand new furnace and air conditioning units and made us feel like family. How you say? By maintaing our systems, immediate response time and compedative pricing. On January 4th we called North Wind Heating & Air., Inc to repair our family’s furnace. It was cold and we welcomed the quick response of their vehicle in our driveway. They are good at fast responses with honest pricing and politeness. The Luch family.

North Wind again has come to our rescue. Our old furnance lasted 20 years and we decided to buy a stronger one that has a two stage furnace saving on our gas and electric bills. Since it was early in the fall we called them to get an estimate. The price was right and four days later we had it done. its quieter and gets a lot more surge to heat the rooms on the opposite side of the house. I have dealt with North Wind Heating & Air Conditioning for several years and have nothing but positive to say about each individual from the office to the installers. They fixed my old furnace when in need of repair, and also installed both a new Furnace and Air Conditioner for me. Update October 2021:

Our furnace stopped working while we were out of town. On a weekend. I received a notice from my smart thermostat that something was wrong.

It was a Saturday evening and I called North Wind for assistance. I left a message on their after hours answering system. Shortly thereafter, Carrie called me back and told me that Ed was going to head over to see what the problem was. Ed showed up and short while later and took care of the situation --- while we were out of town!

Great service from a great business! Thanks Carrie and Ed!

Orignal Review June 2020:

When it was time to replace both our central air condtioner & furnace I spoke to several friends for recommendations. I received three proposals, and one was from North Wind Heating & Air Conditioning.

When I contacted them I spoke with Carrie at the office. She was friendly and polite and set up a visit for the same day. Her husband Ed came out to do the estimate. (I understand that Carrie & Ed are married and are owners of the company.)

Later the same day Ed called me with his proposal. He answered quite a few of my questions and explained how he was taking a custom approach based on our particular situaiton.

Over the course of the next several days I called Carrie or Ed at least four times with more questions. Each time they happily answered them.

In all honesty, the three proposals were all very close in price. The deciding factor for me was the equipment that North Wind installs, as well as the comfortable feeling I had after meeting Ed. On top of that, my good friend who referred us to North Wind spoke very highly of the how his furnace/AC installtion went two years ago.

On the day of the install they arrived on time, got down to business, removed the old equipment, installed the new, and tested it in about 3.5 hours. The crew cleaned everything up like they'd never been here. Ed answered a few more of my questions, showed me how to use the new system. He also provided me rebate forms from our two utility companies and said that North Wind would take care of submitting them for the rebates. Ed also gave me details about the serial numbers and model numbers of our new equipment, and provided a handy document showing where to register the products on line.

Great experience with North Wind!

North Wind setup an appointment for a complete pre start of the cooling system in our house. Ed himself was the person that performed the maintenance and inspection of our two furnaces and condensers. North Wind arrived on time and also cleaned up very well when they were complete. We have used the services of North Wind for a number of years and have been very pleased with their prompt service and reasonable rates.

Honest. Knowledgeable. Fast. Clean. Ed diagnosed a furnace repair and said he could fix it. I perused asking for a new one and only then did he give his advice. I respect that he didn’t try to upsell me. He waited till I asked. I opted for a new furnace and A/C. The crew showed up on time and worked straight through to job completion. They were respectful of me and my home - hard-working and cleaned up without a trace before they left. It was an excellent experience.

We have used North Wind for over 15 years in our house and now in the condo. They have always responded promptly coming out even late at night. I cannot say enough positive praise about their service and professionalism. I would recommend them 100%!
