A couple of days ago, I could hear racoons in my bedroom crawlspace when they started to spread into my hallway and front room. I thought they were coming through my gutter which were getting loose. I read the previous good reviews on Google and contacted them. Mark sent Sean out to my house, and he immediately found that I had a hole in my roof which they were entering my home. Sean tightened my gutters and then repaired my roof. He was very professional as well as nice that I felt comfortable with him. He was finished in less than an hour and charged a fair price. I will definitely contact Motor City and Sean to come out in the spring to replace gutters. I was so impressed with their professionalism that when my mailman was delivering mail, he definitely took Sean's business card for work on his home.

I will only be calling Motor City home improvement from now on! I called to see how soon they could come out to estimate my roof repair and they were available same day. Mark was very friendly and provided me with a quick and affordable estimate for my roof. Looking forward to working with this company!

Mark and Motor City have handled a number of roof replacements in our sub and all residents have said you wont find anyone better.
When I needed a new roof, I immediately called Mark and I wasn't sorry.
Professional, on time, answered and returned calls, detailed, focused, fair priced and completed the job in no time.
Roofing isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for, I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to call them again or recommend!

I moved into a new home where our home inspector had pointed out that whoever had installed the new roof failed to install flashing.

I gave Mark a call and he came out quickly and provided a very reasonable estimate. Within 2 days, my house was reflashed by a highly professional crew that cared about the quality of workmanship.

I had a couple of very minor issues that they came back out to correct without complaint or defense. This is a sign of a good contractor I will continue to work with because many will take your money and run regardless of how you feel about the work performed. Not these guys—they weren’t happy until I was happy.

My experience with MCHI was as a resident in an apartment, so while I didn't have a say in who was being hired or what was being done, I did have direct experience with this team. I can't speak to the work, that's beyond my purview, but Sean was one of the most professional, kind people I've ever met. Picture this: we have a very sensitive dog. We got through the 4th of July fireworks, then wake up at 8am on July 5th to our roof being worked on. She's petrified. I'm stressed. She's stressed. It's not great. I came outside to figure out a way to get her out and honestly.... I was not my best self.

Sean met me with compassion and empathy. He proceeded to regularly clean a path outside our apartment to ensure there were no nails, stopping to do so more frequently than the other spots. He gave me his cell so I could contact him before I took her out. He pet her when she was excited to see a stranger. I was blown away.

And then - as if that wasn't great enough - he remembered and texted me when they arrived a few weeks later to do the gutters.

Quality of work is one thing, but this level of service (especially considering I wasn't even the person behind hiring the team) shows true character. Thank you, truly.

Mark and his team are true professionals. In April, he and his team helped me replace my roof and fixed up the chimney. The communication was clear and thorough. He patiently walked me thru the entire process from understanding the structure of my roof, helping me choose the color of the shingles, giving me updates about the materials needed, to getting the required permits from the city. Everything was by the book, clear, and reliable. His guys did everything in 2 days, with minimum disruption. The owner Marc gave the best quote out of 4 companies. They did the roof on my house with a rear addition and my garage started at 8 am and finished at 3:30 pm. They did a great job and it was hot !! 95 degrees. I am very pleased no nonsense workers and company. I would highly suggest this company if you need work done on your house AAAA++++++
