Mark is a remarkable person with an excellent crew. I needed new gutters installed around my house and his crew came out on 6/12/21, Sean (Shawn) and the other crew members were on time and performed the installation in an excellent and proficient manner. On 10/19/21, I noticed that one of the kick-out spouts was detached and I suspected it was caused by a lawn mower. Mark sent Sean to replace it the NEXT day, free of charge. I am highly recommending Motor City Home Improvement!

Motor City Home Improvement was doing some work on a neighbors home and I asked them to see me when they were done. They quoted pricing for gutters on our garage and also for repairs to the chimney, which was in pretty bad shape. They came out on the hottest Tuesday I can remember and worked all day; Sean doing the gutters on the garage and Frank on the roof working on the chimney. I strongly recommend this company, the pricing was fair, the staff amazing and they clean up after themselves (a big plus for me). I will be calling them in the fall to sweep the chimney and clean out the ash pit.

Marks team came out and were great as well...chimney went up well, looks good, and they cleaned up after themselves. There was one small issue that I spoke with Mark and he took care of it.

The owner was very informative about the type of gutters that would be needed for my steep roof. Shawn, the installer did an excellent job removing and replacing the gutters. The day after the gutters were replaced we had an extremely hard dowpouring of rain. I walked around the house checking all the gutters and no water was pouring over the gutters which was an excellent sign that they had been properly placed. The price given to me was a few hundred beyond what I had but the owner dropped the price to what I could afford. I highly recommend this company and I will be calling again to have them tuck point my bricks. Barbara

I'm very satisfied with my gutter repair. The price quoted was exactly what I paid. A very good price 👍🏽. Conversation over the phone was professional. It was so cool to watch them make the new gutter right from the truck. Lol I was wondering how they were going to replace my gutter that was longer than their truck. They were friendly and didn't mind me watching and asking questions. I would definitely recommend them and call them if I need any more repairs.

One evening I came home from work and heard a noise coming from the inside of my fireplace. Terrified of what it could be, I cautiously approached the fireplace with my flashlight and screamed when a saw squirrel!

I googled emergency 24 hour chimney repair and Motor City Home Improvement was the top search result.
I hysterically explained my situation to Mark. Due to the late hour of my call, Mark wasn't sure if his crew would be able to come to my house until the morning. I understood, but minutes later, Mark called back and told me he was on his way because he did not want me to worry.

Mark and Frank smoked the squirrel out of the fireplace and assessed the chimney for damages.

From my initial call with Mark, he showed professionalism, kindness, concern and compassion and made me feel comfortable about the work his team was to complete. For me it is very important to have a great client-contractor relationship and I'm happy to say that Mark is my Friend.

Had a slow active roof leak that had caused some ceiling damage in the past. They were able to come out the same day and replace the poor flashing on my roof. Fair price and quick service.

I called Mark and.told him I needed soffits, facias, and gutters on my home ASAP! He came out even though he had workers on another job to give me an assessment. Two days later (because it rained) he had a crew there and got it all done in one day.
They were professional, on time, did quality work, and very respectful of all the questions I asked while doing their job. I recommend that you call Motor City Home Improvement for all your home exterior projects if you want it done right and at a great price. I have them out at my home for the first time last fall to clean out my gutters. Their guys were on time professional and quick. They did a wonderful job.

I needed their services again and called their number. I spoke with the owner, Mark. He is very warm, professional, and friendly.

I needed to have a portion of my gutter replaced that was knocked out by ice last winter. I also needed to have some cement tuck pointing done on various portions of my 90-year-old home.

They matched the color of my gutters perfectly and did a great job with installation. They also did some additional work that I didn't notice and included it for no extra charge. The tuck pointing was an amazing job and made my home look great again.

Mark and his crew are very reasonably priced and do a great job. I highly recommend them.

Me and my wife had a leak in our corridor. At first we thought it was the roof. Then we figured it was the gutters. We called Motor City Home Improvement and they immediately realized we had a hole in our trim, maybe from animals. We decided to get that fixed as well as a new gutter system. Their prices were reasonable and they were punctual and professional. We would definitely recommend.

My experience with MCHI was fantastic--long story short, their approach really earned my trust and they'll be my first call going forward.

I had a leak pop on my chimney and cause some water damage. I had the same problem repaired this time last year by a different company. Unlike other quotes I had gotten, the MCHI team was thorough in their inspection and patiently explained to me each detail of what caused the problem, as well as their approach to solving it. They also took photos of each step of the repair which I appreciated. This made me feel comfortable to approve the repair same day.

While they were up there, I asked them to evaluate some maintenance and repair issues on the chimney itself. They provided a number of options at different price points, as well as their reasoning. Other companies had just tried to get the maximum $ from me for repairs that may or may not be necessary, without much explanation. MCHI's honesty, transparency, and patience is what I look for when it comes to finding someone to help maintain my home.
