This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. On Jan. 3, 2022; Josh the VP promised that my supplies for my bathroom remodel would be in 3-4 weeks. Well It's March 7th and some still aren't in. He was rude to me on the telephone when I called in February to ask about the supplies that were holding up my bathroom remodel. I paid them $6,000 via check and they gave a refund for a tub sprout to a contractor on his credit card. Never use Eddie Jones' Plumbing and Heating because he's a liar and a crook.

Josh from Advance will not give the customer a refund that you paid for but will give his contractor friend your money. And when Eddie Jones tell you that you're getting a discount don't believe him because you can get the EXACT same parts from Amazon or Builders for at least $100 cheaper and within two days.

Because of both of these poor businessmen, my bathroom remodeling job took two months instead of one.

Went in with a faucet problem. Even though it was not a brand they carried and I didn't purchase from them, they still walked me through how to find the part number and even gave the the customer service contact to get it free under warranty.

Great customer service... Even for someone who was not a customer!

Through some combination of incompetence and a terrible product database (meaning it's hard for the employees to look up the right products for purposes of checking stock or even making a transaction), I always have to come back several times when transacting here, among other issues. The first time was a faucet and drain, where I had to come back the next day because they had to pull stock from another store. I never got a call like I was told I would, had to call myself and ask, and then go. Obviously I was in a hurry because I already scheduled another plumber appt for the next day, and of course the plumber couldn't do it, because he needed more parts. But it still took FOREVER when I then had to go back again to get another part. This one wasn't a huge deal really, and I was ready to let all that go. But the next was the bigger messup, where I go in specifically stating I want an ADA compliant, elongated (obviously) toilet. Again it takes forever to check out, and when we do, I get home to find when the plumber comes out that it was a round toilet. I then have the choice to pay the plumber to remove it (because he didn't know I wanted elongated), and of course charge me for it, and the installation of the next one, or go back to Advanced and simply get a round seat to match my new round toilet I didn't want. Because they gave me a round toilet with an elongated seat on the same transaction!!! Very nice. Even when I took the toilet seat back to get a round one, it took forever just to find a round version to replace it with. I'm talking over 20 minutes of sitting there. And even when they thought they had the right one, and he was coming up front, another guy said "no, that's the wrong one - you want the 200." Wow! I was about to be given another wrong toilet seat!!!! Look, I'm sure the employees mean well, but I'm not going back. Too slow, and too many mistakes on top. I respect my plumbers, but when they recommended me this place to source my stuff, they're wrong.

Unexpected location but excellent showroom for more higher-end plumbing supplies (think faucets, shower heads, etc.). Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and proactive. Working hours are not super convenient and rather short, but it's worth carving out some time during the week or on a Saturday morning.

Advanced is the best plumbing supplier in the Nation, I’ve dealt with many and no one has the attentiveness, care and customer service that they have. I’ve been coming to them for over 10 years now and they are still 10/10, Justin, Steve, Josh, and John have all been very helpful to me with the crazy questions and issues I bring them daily. Keep up the good work guys and thank you as always.

Ben was invaluable in helping us locate a quality bathtub quickly when our big box store tub unexpectedly cracked. He was personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend working with him.

Phenomenal plumbing shop! They carry everything!

I had planned to purchase a Crosswater London toilet from Advance Plumbing after emailing with a salesperson (Josh) and confirming the model was in stock. I even let them know I was coming in to pick it up and when.

When I arrived, the parking lot was completely full due to a company BBQ, something no one bothered to mention in advance. Guess I wasn't invited? Ok, but I couldn’t park, couldn’t get in, and ended up having to leave without making the purchase.

When I emailed them to express my frustration, the response was dismissive: no apology, no offer to help or reschedule, just a comment about street parking and how they couldn’t predict how busy it would be. Frankly, it didn’t feel like a place that values customers like me at all — more like a “good ole boys” club where you’re either in or you’re not. Please take your business elsewhere.

My family has been dealing with Advance Plumbing for years, and now it was my turn. Went to their Detroit showroom... it's so cool. Met up with Josh and explained my renovations. He walked me through room by room and helped me decide on everything needed… answering my millions of questions and explaining pros and cons. Fast forward 6 weeks later, everything was delivered. The A Team, Joe and Matt, called ahead, unloaded the truck, and checked the order over, making sure everything was excellent condition. This entire renovation process can be stressful at times… the Advance Team made their part stressless.

Most knowledgeable plumbing Supply company in Michigan. Awesome and helpful staff! I would recommend anybody who needs anything for plumbing whether it's owning your own business or a homeowner to only do business there you will thank me later! ❤️

Advanced Plumbing is my go-to for plumbing materials and supplies. Their staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help track down exactly what I need. The selection is excellent, the prices are fair, and they consistently have the parts in stock that other places don’t. Whether it’s for a small repair or a bigger project, I can always count on them for quality products and outstanding service. Highly recommend

Steve Ruggero, this guy is the best! He puts things aside and makes you his number one priority. I complimented his nice pen..... next thing you know, he gave it to me to keep. (Brass pen). What a friendly guy. If everyone was like him this world would be a much better place. Steve...... you are like family. God bless you!

This is the go to spot for all my plumbing parts. All the employees are great, always very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Russ was very personable and knowledgeable. Our toilets, tubs and sinks were not draining as they should. He walked us through everything he was doing. Their prices are not only reasonable, but they will not perform unnecessary work! I will make it a point to add Russ and Roto-Rooter to our list of trusted contractors. We are way beyond satisfied with the work that was performed and the level of service we received!

But man how expensive can things be. And this is not a reflection on the plumber who came and did the work. He is awesome. He also was upfront about the pricing - so complaint isn't about surprise either. I just had no choice. Even the phone customer service is good. No complaints.

My feedback is only about pricing. Pricing seems equal to paying $350 per hour. If these guys were cheaper, it would be my go to place for everything. But right now I am not sure.

Matt was our tech and he was great. We had a different service out a few months ago with a similar name to Roto Rooter, but don’t be fooled. Make sure you call Roto Rooter. Not only are the prices hundreds of dollars better, but the service and quality is exponentially better. Matt was friendly and helpful and did a fantastic job.

Jourdan 689 was probably the best plumber I’ve ever come in contact with. He was very fast and efficient and did not over sale. He definitely knows what he’s doing and he will only sale you what you need. A Plus service. Highly recommended.
