Avery Poncho and Adam did a phenomenal job doing my front yard completely changed the looks of the house and increased the value of the house they were professional knowledgeable and fast can't believe the change just two days would recommend to anybody wanting to improve the looks and value of their property, retainer wall and shrub are beautiful simply put awesome!!!!!!!

I wish your guys would please let me know when they destroy one of my sprinkler heads. I have been watering the street for a week. Next time I will be deducting $75 from my bill. Your guys are very friendly and courteous. Some of your new guys need more training though.

I'd recommend Matthew's Family Landscaping for lawn maintenance :). It's the only service I've with them. On the first day my lawn was cut, I wasn't sure if I'd keep them on, but I took into consideration the lawn had been uncut for about 2.5 weeks at that point. So the random patches of grass left uncut, I did myself. But with the 2nd and 3rd cuts, it has looked great, zero complaints! I dont even mind if my giant wildflower patch is accidentally cut (they can take them! Haha). They do a nice job edging the front and if I had something to edge in the back, im sure that would look nice too! Not all the houses edge their properties, it's nice seeing mine is! 💚. So far so good!

The crew did a phenomenal job! They worked so hard and didn't let some roadblocks with machinery stop their progress. They were so friendly, professional, and thorough. The before and after differences make me so happy

Wow, talking about a company that’s unprofessional! Wanted them to do a fall cleanup and most likely hiring them for future lawn cutting. No Way Now! Signed a contract for/invoice for what? A week gone by can’t even tell me where I am on on the list (if they even have 1), can’t give me an estimate even when I could get it done. How many people are left for getting lawn service or fall clean ups?, it’s almost December. Lady that answers the phone makes it out like you’re bothering them for giving them business. Claims it’s to cold or bad weather. Not All times, if they have so many jobs to do. Get them done and move on. Apparently they don’t want any more business,so don’t quote jobs if your to busy to do them, Duh! How do they plow snow, when it’s bad weather and cold it’s Michigan, Not Florida. Any if you like being put off, hire them. If Not look for another company! By the way I am to Busy to call and cancel my Invoice and or Contract. Had another Company do the Work. If you decide to actually get to me. I WONT BE PAYING.CONSIDER THIS AS A FIRING NOTICE! Just driven from Inkster to Monroe this on Thursday November 30, 2023 (not on Freeway took telegraph all the way south to Monroe). Great job on the concrete work that was done and can’t say enough good about their employee, Francisco, who provided the service. He was professional, polite and very hard working. We also used Matthews several years ago for landscaping and would highly recommend any of their services.

I was truly excited about working with Jason & his crew. They were all very friendly & accommodating initially. We’ve had trouble with contractors not doing a great job. Jason promised we’d be taken care of, initially that was true as well. However, problems started to arise and now Jason is blaming Michigan weather, the very state he works in. If his products weren’t good for my yard goals…why didn’t he say that instead of taking almost $10k for a walkway that, one year out, is cracking up?? Also instead of coming out and seeing the issue and what this walkway looks like one year later for himself with his own eyes he just asked for for pictures and judged based off of that. Not good business if you ask me. I gave him plenty of time to hold true to his promises initially and that hasn’t happened so I’m writing a review, which honestly makes me really sad to do. Because I truly believe the promises he made. I believed in him so much initially I gave him referrals. That would not be the case currently and my voice would be different now.

Over the past number of years we have used GLC for a total front yard landscaping re-do and new mulch for the entire yard every two years. The crews are polite, professional and very hard working. They don't waste any time and work like a well oiled machine. There are many landscaping companies in the Downriver area but I doubt any can match GLC. The best there is in my opinion.

Working with the GLC team was a great experience! Gino & Eileen made the project feel seamless, as they were always flexible with their time to discuss the variety of options & upcoming steps throughout the project, making me feel comfortable knowing they had my best interest.

Their operations staff were punctual, professional, and considerate when working at my home, and I appreciate all of the minor details during the wrap up of the project, even the simplicity of sweeping my driveway from dust residue.

I have waited for years to have this large landscaping project done but always hesitated because you just don't know if you can trust a company to live up to your high expectations. From the moment I called GLC and they sent my salesperson Steven out to my home to give me his thoughts and ideas .. the professional drawing that he did of my property and everything that was going to be planted was amazing... he explained in detail every planting and why we were putting it where he suggested. From that moment on I knew even with several other bids from other well known companies bidding the same job, ( and GLC not the cheapest ) that I was going to use GLC regardless. Professional from start to finish. When the crew came out to my house they worked together like a well oiled machine, they started one thing and just went to the next and all worked together, it was truly amazing to watch. The foreman Owen was the most polite young man and his attention to detail was something that you just don't see anymore these days . If you can say he went above and beyond it would be an understatement. I have to say that I am a tough customer, I am the first one to complain when something is not done properly so to impress me is not easy. GLC has my vote of confidence and I would recommend them to anyone looking for the miracle of gorgeous landscaping done to perfection!

A close friend recommended GLC Landscaping after they completed several jobs for them and at their family’s property. I’m so glad we had them complete our project! Our yard had issues with drainage that weren’t completely addressed by a different landscaping company’s work. Gino came out, evaluated our property and came up with a plan that actually solved the problem and looks wonderful. They raised up and enlarged an old, sunken patio and made it a permeable surface with proper drainage underneath. They finished with some site grading and a decorative rock bed in a stubbornly muddy area. He and his crew were always on time, left the site clean and the job was completed in less time than expected. Gino kept in close contact with us throughout, verifying that we were happy with the work and that it was meeting our expectations. We are so grateful not to have to be on edge every time it rains.

GLC has been our landscaper of choice since we finished our home in Huron Township back in late 2020. So when we learned that they had recently ventured into the pool installation business, and we were ready to take that next step in our outdoor space, we had full confidence in GLC's ability to get the job done with excellence and professionalism. And even though we were only their third pool installation project, we can say that this experience was 100x better than the pools we installed at our last two homes with well established pool companies at the time, both of which are not even in business anymore. GLC is hands down the best contractor for any landscaping job. We needed 24 arborvitae for privacy. They were the third company we called for a quote. Next time they will be the only one we call. Not only were they much more affordable but they delivered on everything they promised.
Gino and his crew were knowledgeable, professional and prompt. The office staff was always in communication and available for any questions along the way. The attention to detail and clean up afterwards was beyond what we expected. Look forward to using them in the future. If you are in the market for landscaping do yourself a favor and call GLC.

GLC did a very good job placing the stones we wanted to create a clean look around the pathway and front entrance. The crew was very professional and finished the job quickly fir us.

The crew was very professional and did a wonderful job installing sod in our front and backyard. When they finished, crew member Andrew advised me to water the lawn. I explained that I am disabled. Andrew offered to hook up the sprinkler and come back every so often to move it around so the entire lawn would get watered. He was able to do this because GLC Landscaping was also installing sod ar my neighbors house. A package for my neighbor was accidentally delivered to my house and Andrew took it to their house for the. I must say Andrew went above and beyond for me. He is such and asset and represented GLC Landscaping extremely well. I highly recommend this company!
