I am really happy with the work that GLC did transforming our backyard into a my dream Oasis!! The construction process was well organized and any concerns were addressed right way. Our pool is amazing! I plan to use it all summer and enjoy it for years to come!!!

Everyone we worked with was friendly, kind, and courteous. All of the workers took great pride in their work and it showed. They always made sure that we were happy with each faze of the project. Stephen came up with a beautiful design, taking our specific needs into consideration. The project manager, Oraceo, was such a nice man and a pleasure to work with. He made sure that we were happy with everything that was done. Owen was very kind and helpful. I don’t know the names of the others, but they were all great. I would recommend this company to anyone and I would definitely use them again.

The entire experience was top notch. From the beginning, we were shown a 3D version of the concept which allowed us to see exactly what the vision was for our deck and brick pavers. The communication was top tier as well. Every day, we got a progress update from Gino on what happened that day and the plan for the coming days so that my husband and I always knew what was happening. The general foreman, TJ, was always on site and the crew was always respectful and neat. The workmanship is beyond my expectations. The deck and brick pavers turned out better than I anticipated. We are so thrilled with the final outcome. GLC is company to go with if you want a high quality product! They are the total package!

GLC cleaned and resanded my patio. Owen did an excellent job and went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied with the work. My 9-year-old patio looks brand new again.

We were looking for a very specific custom patio with unique flooring and a fireplace with a pizza oven both of which were very complicated. The company worked with us very closely to accommodate our request, made adjustments when necessary and provided us with exactly what we wanted. We were very happy with the overall service and quality of our new patio. Everyone was very easy to work with and any questions or concerns we had were addressed right away no questions asked. They work hard to satisfy the customer and deliver exactly what you are looking for. We highly recommend their service.

GLC in Flat Rock did an amazing job on our landscaping! They were prompt, professional, and pleasant. We are so pleased with the outcome of the stone edging, rocks and trimming of the existing bushes and they also ripped up the wild juniper and replaced it with boxwoods. We needed full landscaping created for our newly built home and Stephen F. and his team did a great job. Things were simple from the first meeting to the last with detailed concepts, options, plans schedules and care instructions after the job was done. The crews were careful, observant of our property nuances and cleaned everything up when the job was complete.

I contacted GLC with a very rough idea of what we wanted, Gino helped fine tune that and build us the lean to structure we wanted. It's rare these days that you enjoy working with a company from day one and still enjoy working with them at the end of the project. I will definitely call on GLC again, and will recommend them to anyone that asks. Communication is key and was outstanding throughout the project. The crews were great to work with and always left a clean job site.

From start to finish, our experience with GLC was wonderful. We needed to replace our existing paver patio and backyard walkway and reached out to GLC in February. From the initial meeting to creating the plan to actual implementation, everyone in the office and out in the field was wonderful to work with. Eileen and Stacey kept us regularly informed about the timeline, and Stephen was a huge help during the planning stages of the project including helping us select the plants and tree for our new landscaping.

Gino and his installation team, including Owen, Giovanni, and Claudio, were a dream to work with. Despite the heat and occasional rain, they kept the project moving forward without delay, transforming our outdated and crumbling patio into a beautiful oasis. Each night, they made sure to keep us updated on the progress and cleaned up any trash in the backyard, the boulevard, and the street.

The project was completed faster than expected, and the quality is top-notch. After working with GLC, it is extremely clear that the entire staff cares greatly about what they do and are invested in creating a positive experience from start to finish. We will definitely work with GLC again in the future.

We needed an extensive makeover of our landscaping and we put our faith in GLC Landscaping. Stephen listened to our needs and concerns and came up with a great design. Kudos to Stephen and his crew who showed up early every day with all the equipment and supplies needed to do the job. They were all experienced and worked hard to give us a quality job that we are extremely pleased with.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with GLC was so unacceptable that I feel obligated to warn others.
Like many of the other reviews, my experience began very positively. Stephen presented himself as knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately, the moment the talking stopped, and the actual work began, everything changed dramatically.
The project lead was Owen, with Stephen supervising most of the three day, $24,000 project. From the very start, they seemed unprepared and overwhelmed. Tree stumps that were supposed to be removed by excavator suddenly had to be ground down instead. My questions about whether the leftover wood chips could affect the new plant growth were dismissed without explanation. The cleanouts I requested for the five underground downspouts were installed three and a half feet above ground level, made from white sewer pipe, that stood out awkwardly by the front entrance. When I asked if they would at least be painted to blend in, I was told, “That is a project you can handle.”
Even with all of this, I was still willing to accept the project as “okay” and paid the bill in full. Then I discovered what was hiding underground.
After the project was completed, I still remained uneasy about the drainage system as the drains were buried in clay and I was not seeing water emitting from the popup emitters. Deciding to dig up the ends of the pipes myself to add stone to aid in proper drainage, I was absolutely sickened by what I found. Of the five drainpipes installed, NOT A SINGLE ONE WAS DONE CORRECTLY. Three of the drain caps had been installed upside down, which trapped water inside the pipes. The remaining two downspouts were installed sloping uphill, which caused water to pool back toward the foundation of my home. Had I not discovered this on my own, the pipes would have continued to fill with water, frozen during winter, and likely causing damage to my home’s foundation.
When a company shows you who they truly are, believe them. After seeing this level of negligence and poor workmanship firsthand, I did not trust GLC to come back and fix anything. Every single downspout needed correction, and the exposed cleanouts were an embarrassing eyesore by my front door. I had no choice but to redo half the project myself.
When Stephen returned to view the redone work, he asked questions about how I fabricated my cleanouts and the material I used, including the leaf filters, products that are readily available online. Even talking pictures of the redesign. Being so far off on what we each thought was the fair value of the project with the faulty drainage, no compromise was reached between Stephen, the owners of GLC, and myself for the project as it was already paid for. They offered to refund the downspout portion and offered a “sorry” and although it may have been sincere, it honestly came across as “sorry we got caught”, and trying to avoid a negative review. So, the $24,000 price stood for a project I had to redo myself.
In conclusion, if you don’t want to pay premium prices for an average looking project completed with substandard workmanship, and likely to either cause further damage or require you to redo it yourself, I would seriously consider somewhere other than GLC for your landscaping project.

From start to finish, our experience with this company was exceptional. We hired them to install an in-ground pool with pavers and complete landscaping for our backyard. Not only was the work completed ahead of schedule, but the attention to detail and level of professionalism exceeded our expectations. Gino, the owner, is incredibly detail-oriented and hands-on. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed to the highest standard. Special thanks to TJ, Felice, and Melchor, for their outstanding work on-site. The final result is a beautifully designed pool area that completely transformed our yard.
