Reviews of local pros in Flat Rock, Michigan

Reached out to Turf Concepts because I had no idea what I wanted to do with the landscaping in the front of my house. Jeremy got back to me very quickly. I told him what I had in mind and the digital design he gave me looked amazing. They planted everything today. The detail is great. The guys worked very hard. They were very nice and professional!! I knew it was going to look good but it looks AMAZING. Great job I would use them over and over. Highly recommend. Very easy to work with and very responsive to all my questions.

We love our landscaping update!!
Very knowledgeable and professional staff.
Adam Walters and crew were very efficient and executed this job in a timely fashion. Also, gave us great ideas for future projects.
Will definitely recommend to others.
Thanks so much! We hope we can keep everything as beautiful as it looks now🩷

Turf Concepts did an amazing job landscaping my addition. Jeremy came out and gave me some options and 2 weeks later it was finished exactly how I was hoping for. I would recommend them to anyone. They are the best around!

Very professional, great team to work with, delivered as promised on timing and work completed. Totally will use again if needed.

Turf Concepts was a wonderful company to work with! I’ve used them twice and both times Jeremy and Ryan, my project managers, were informative and honest. The crew was very respectful and hard working! We love our backyard oasis! I definitely recommend them for any of your landscaping needs!!

I originally decided to use Turf Concepts because they did some work at my parent's condo and I was impressed with the work that they did there.
I had landscaping and landscape maintenance done by them. I am very pleased with the results of both. Everyone was very professional and worked with me even as I added to/changed the original plans. The work crews were very professional, friendly and courteous. The crew that did my landscaping worked really hard in the sweltering heat but were very conscientious that the job was done correctly and exactly how I wanted it. They were really great friendly guys and I enjoyed having them at the house. The crew that came out to trim my bushes were also excellent. They were very concerned that the job be done just how I wanted it and were professional and friendly. Both crews cleaned everything up and when they left you wouldn't even know that they were there. I am very pleased with this company and will happily use their services in the future.

Been using Turf Concepts for over 5 years on our lawn fertilization and our lawn has never looked better. Would recommend them highly.

We used Turf Concepts for our front landscaping this year. They did a wonderful job! The crew was fantastic! They were on time, helpful and didn’t hesitate to answer any of my questions. They listened to what I was looking for and planted exactly the right plants for my front yard. Everything looks beautiful! I would highly recommend them!

What can we say, Turf Concepts did an Outstanding job on our retaining wall. I will definitely use them again in the future!! I would recommend them to everyone.

I was looking to update my front yard landscape which was looking old and overgrown. I explored the website and liked what I saw even though the projects pictured were of a grander scale than mine would be. I was pleased with the timely response and the suggestions for plantings as well as accent lighting. I felt that I was a partner in the entire project and that my desires were taken seriously. The owner had worked in my HOA community and was aware of the design guideline. The work crew was friendly and efficient and the work was completed in the stated amount of time. What I have is a beautifully updated front yard with great accent lighting. I would recommend Turf Concepts to neighbors and friends and will hire them in the future.

Turf Concepts did a great job with adding pavers around my flag pole, garbage can area, and rebuilding a retaining wall in front of my house. Someone took the corner out with their truck.

They finished all three in a day. I love it.

Here are before and after pictures of my flag area.

We have used Turf Concepts for 3 jobs in the past 24 months. Hands down these guys are the best landscaping company in Michigan. High quality work, quick turn around and fantastic customer service.

We are so happy with our landscape renovation by Turf Concepts! They took great care and worked so hard every step of the way with this project. Jeremy’s design came to life, and I appreciate his recommendations with the plant choices and retaining wall and walkway. We would highly recommend this company!

Our HOA hired Turf Concepts to Plow our sub. They destroyed many lawns on 1 single plow this winter. They will not come make this right or do repairs. I highly do not recommend their service. Yes you ran over the curb makers you placed out. Also the contract stated Restore. Which means put back to original condition and not repair with seed and hope it grows. I am sure this happens a lot and I understand that. But for $8.00 in SOD this whole situation could have been avoided. I will be removing your repair work and replacing it with SOD. Thank you

I had a wonderful experience from the initial estimate to the finished product. What needed to be done was carefully explained to me. The crew that came to work at my home was courteous and completed the work in a timely manner. I am very satisfied with my new patio! This is the second place this company has done a patio for me and I would highly recommend them!

I have had work done by Turf Concepts for several years now. The crews are very professional and great to work with. I had my backyard done in 2022 and had lights installed this past spring. I now love to sit outside and enjoy my yard. I would highly recommend Turf concepts every time

I contacted Turf Concepts based on a referral from my neighbor. I appreciated their detailed scope of work provided with their job estimate. All of the shrubs on one side of my house were removed to lay down sod, while the other side of the house had some shrubs removed or transplanted. Adam's crew worked efficiently, and even mulched other areas not included in my original estimate. I'm pleased with the work.

We had a pool installed in our backyard this summer and we were looking for someone to do the landscaping. Adam came up with a great concept, and Erik and his crew pulled it all together. We couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. Our kids even love how we can change the colors of the uplighting!

When we moved in we had Turf Concepts install our new sod, irrigation and front landscaping. They did a beautiful job and were awesome to work with. Answered all our questions completed the work on time and really went above what we asked for and expected.

This year we commissioned them to build us a paver patio and landing with some more landscaping in the back and again they went above and beyond and delivered something more beautiful then we imagined and all while finishing well ahead of initial schedule.

If you need landscaping or any outdoor work don’t hesitate to use them, amazing people and amazing work!

We had a very specific idea of how we wanted our landscape remodel to look. Turf Concepts listened to our ideas and made adjustments as needed, during the process. They stayed late daily to get the job done. Everything was finished and they left everything immaculate, sweeping and tidying to the last minute. We are very pleased!

We were pleased with Jeremy’s help in designing our new landscaping, ever-so pleased with Adam’s crew who planted the numerous plants. We were impressed and appreciated the follow-up to hear our satisfaction and/or comments regarding all aspects of the project. WE LOVED THE RESULTS OF TURF CONCEPT’S WORK!
